2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a new platform the answer to ICO and cryptos winter? on: March 10, 2018, 05:52:57 PM
I have an good suggestion to new people: if you can't find good icos or decide which one is good, invest in big coins like bitcoin, ethereum, dash, litecoin etc. You will thank me.

I will disagree with you my friend. Coins have no future, are empty worthless tokens that soon or later will start to become irrelevant.
The only "coins" that deserve money are platforms like ethereum, iota, neo, cardano, xtrabyte, nano etc.

I was making my research about this project as i mention in a previous post and i read in their whitepaper that they plan to get involved in the medical field. Does anyone know anything about what they are planning to do? Because this looks very interesting and its a huge market..

First I will agree with the guy below your answer, your own research is always better.
anws I will answer you what they planning to do with it based on my research.
DIW is a platform built in a way that can have extra layers of anything, Medical is the first module of DIW.
It will curry your medical data safety , you will be able to share them etc.. Also doctors will be able to offer you remote assessment via the platform and global directory.
for ex..
In short: I went to my doctor and I did an MRI, my doctor saw the it and said to me ABC, I can send my MRI to another doctor in DIW global directory for second opinion or assessment.
I can keep in the my medical vault anything to do with my health , from my medicine to all my health history.

I think with the use of blockchain technology some day we will build much safer Internet.

Internet is a network, a network that isn't safe by its nature. Blockchain is a second layer on the internet that is secure by its nature, what is missing now is the third , a platform, a complete solution that will let us use the blockchain , securely exchange information, make secure deals, have a secure real identity, have no need of keeping and remember a ton of passwords etc.
And here where diw comes in, is the third layer of Internet that gives a real propose to the blockchain , makes it useful and accessible to ALL!!!

You know how long time it takes me to invest to an ICO again? Most ICOs are shit!
ALL of them until now, create demo solutions! Medical ICOs do not have KYC and a way users to get verified, therefor scammers are welcome! They do not have escrow, so if a doctor is an asshole or a client is stupid you can not solve a disagreement! Until now most ICOs were trash! Non of them is a complete solution that combines what ever is needed to create a complete online solution and most of them are not good or profitable business, are just an investment for gamblers , and I NOT A GAMBLER!
I invested to DIW 10ETH because is the first project that combines what ever is needed to create a complete solution, a real platform that ensures the security for P2P and B2B transactions, it solve real world problems and from the begging of the project the company explains you as investor how is going to be a profitable project.
DIW is next big thing after ethereum, is the sleeping giant that crypto world needed and needs. Ethereum has become an ICO platform, but no ICO until now utilized ethereum real propose!
DIW is giving respect back to the meaning of creating a real project with a real utility token and not a gambling token.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 💠 DIW 💠 [ANN] [WHITELIST IS UP] 💠 DIWtoken.com 💠 Decentralize Security on: January 30, 2018, 11:25:33 PM
I was waiting for long time for a good ICO, when I saw DIW and the whitepaper, I just knew that was what I waited for so long. It seems that is not only me that I waited for it but the whole world, Telegram group is on fire!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs. Bitcoin on: January 17, 2018, 05:59:10 PM
What are the chances Ethereum will surpass Bitcoin by market cap?

Go for eth, is going for sure one day to surpass the shitty btc. Btc is nothing but an empty token, worth nothing, eth is a real platform with a real important purpose.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NO ICOs ARE NOT SCAMs, BITCOIN LIKE COINs ARE THE REAL SCAM on: January 17, 2018, 05:52:10 PM
How bitcoin is different than any empty ERC20 token?
Because is "minable" ? Mining originally invented to secure the network, not to give the miners "free" coins or the super power that have today because they are in pools to control the price of bitcoin.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Investment Advice $1000 on: January 17, 2018, 05:39:16 PM
Hi,

i want to invest $1000 as the market is already down. I am confused i should wait more or buy RIGHT now. I made some decisions based upon my research.

I would buy as follows:

- ADA - Cardano $200 *Already Invested at 0.90
- TRX - Tron $200
- XRP - Ripple $500
- SUB - Substratum $300

Please advice me and also if you know any other coin let me know. Before when Ripple was some cents I bought for $500 and later sold in August at loss. And, i regret. It was nice seeing Ripple hit $3 in January.

It is time to do it again. Looking forward to my suggestion.

Regards,
Box

DIW, Trade.io, those two are going to be the top ICOs of 2018, big chance!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest no product ICOs on: January 17, 2018, 05:37:08 PM
I was wondering, why a lot of projects don't have such an important thing for a successful ICO as a product.

When a company has a product it means they have it to develop. In such case, a company shows why they need ICO and how the company will be growing. What is more, there is more trust because a company has experience in a field they are working.

For example, KickCity company that exists two years. KickCity an event platform that generates revenue and has a Helsinki government grant. KickCity needs ICO to make business bigger and to become a decentralized platform where every user is rewarded for ticket promotion.

On the other hand, no product ICOs can prove their success just in theory. There is no proof base that product will be developed and will be working right.

In such unstable industry as ICO everything has to be under control. The product is one of the things that shows the campaign is not a scam. That is why I believe it is better to invest in ready-made products ICOs.

Really brooo? Like never invest to Ethereum .. which was a whitepaper and was accepted bitcoin before product... Come on! Don't be lazy, do you research and do not put your money to bad ICO and cry later
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 12 Bitcoin. What should I do??? on: January 17, 2018, 05:27:45 PM
Quote
Edit: I have now invested 100% into Skycoin

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

Well BTC will hit 30K in six months, but this is not even good profit. I would suggest you to buy DIW or Trade.io because your returns will be x10 min
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 7000$ to invest for 2018 on: January 17, 2018, 05:25:40 PM
I have 7k$ to invest for 2018, I'm looking for the next big potential (as everyone I believe Cheesy).
Need your best suggestions !

I looking for POWR and ARK, but maybe you have a better opportunities ?

I would suggest you DIW or Trade.io or both. Those two projects are already to the moon but people don't know it yet.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining will ever stop ? on: January 17, 2018, 05:23:00 PM
Hello people, i'm new in the crypto worlds , i have two questions please i need logic answers .

1 - will mining will ever stop Huh?

2 - what will happens when the cryptocurrency reaches it limits ( example : bitcoin 21M , ETH .... , and other curriencies ) ? will they win money after the currencies reaches its limits ?

thank you !

Yes, because it's a joke! Is not reasonable to burn so huge amounts of energy when PoS is better and Hashgraph is safer. Coins with PoW must evolve or die.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why all coins are dropping? on: January 17, 2018, 05:21:48 PM
any body know the reason for current drop?

In steps...
Step 1 Whales , people who hold huge amounts of coins are selling
Step 2 People start sell out of FUD
Step 3 Automatically STOP LOST are triggered in the Exchanges and therefor the prices go super RED

This is a natural cycle, whales know this cycle and when the markets go to the button, come back and buy cheaper everything.
Also they prefer to buy new ICO in order to make new hypes.
If you are an investor invest to DIW and Trade.io and you will thank me one day.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron (TRX) I missed the opportunity.. sad... on: January 17, 2018, 05:18:21 PM
TRX rises unbelievably, What a golden opportunity I missed? damn .. Why I missed it? I didn't see any discussion about TRX before, Otherwise I could have invested in it earlier when it is cheap. now it is $.15. My bad... Cry Cry
Can you please senior experienced guys tell me how to avoid this type of golden opportunity at least next time? I didn't see anyone talking about this coin on Twitter or facebook until 3,4 days before, shit..  pls fix my heart guys

Bro, go get register to DIW and no cry, you have not lost anything. DIW and Trade.io are going to sky rocket very soon. Just mark my name and my words and you will see what I write today to make sense if few days and later in few months.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitconnect to the Moon! on: January 17, 2018, 05:16:35 PM
Buy now!

Bitconnect to the moon! Buy now as long there will be some coins on the market. Before they loose another 2 billions market cap!

Now, please!

haha, is officially a scam  Grin is not going to the moon, probably to prison and holders go homeless  Tongue
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: January 17, 2018, 05:15:21 PM
I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here? Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?

Sex can be addictive, coffee, food, everything basically! So it can be, but the thing in life is to keep everything in a good balance.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If BTC drops below $1000 on: January 17, 2018, 05:13:54 PM
I crunched some numbers on the profit of GTX 1070, 1070ti and 1080 average hash rate at a price of $0.093 watt.

At each graphics cards average hash rate given the possibility of BTC dropping to $1000, the GTX 1080 and 1080ti are the only cards that will turn a profit at .093 cents per watt. They will return about $0.11 profit after the cost $0.29 to run.

A GTX 1080 cost $550+ that doesnt include the other hardware needed to run the GPU. That means it will take over 5000 days to get your ROI, return on investment.

TLDR: My hypothesis based on this observation is, if BTC drops below $1000 threshold Alt coin mining will become nothing more than a hobby and most Alt coin markets will die. Leaving mostly Proof of Stake Alt coins. These are interesting times.

Max drop will be 6000, no chance to go any lower. But a strategy would be to sell BTC and buy early ICOs at whitepaper state as DIW which I support in my signature. When the whales return and new people start reinvest their money, will invest to new ICOs with solid projects, DIW for ex and Trade.io.
This ICOs will have huge hype, mark my words. x10 the min and x100 in the first 6 months
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MARKET IS CRASHING : WHAT'S YOUR THOUGHTS ? on: January 16, 2018, 10:52:52 PM
I believe we went too fast too high (830Bn Market cap maybe more...) Time for correction. But I think soon it will be time to go go bottom fishing !

Or there are news I didn't see ?

I should sell before my tokens and buy them now at half price.. basically this.
But ok, no worries, I missed the tip
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LIST: How to evaluate ICO opportunities on: January 16, 2018, 10:49:38 PM
Hi all,

I'm working this list of factors to consider when evaluating an ICO for investment. This is a LIVING LIST, and I'm seeking input so that I can create a public checklist of sorts. Share your thoughts!

I'll constantly update the questions on this list based on new information. Ultimately, we should be able to evaluate an ICO opportunity by working through the checklist. See the end of the list for sources...there will be many in addition to the feedback I get here.

One list to rule them all!!!

SO, first step was getting the sections down. Now, I am reviewing ICO evaluation articles and adding relevant questions to the sections below:

Evaluating ICO Opportunities

1. Token Purpose: what need does the token address?
  • Does the token have a clear purpose?
  • How broad or narrowly defined are the use cases for this blockchain?
  • Does the token provide return to token holders?
  • Who will support the token?
  • Is the token structured with centralized control or a decentralized governance?
  • Is the token a utility token (usage token or work token) a security token, or a combination?
  • For usage tokens: is the digital service being offered useful and does the network underlying the digital service aggregate resources (hashing power, file storage, etc.) that will differentiate the service in the long-term?
  • For work tokens: is there a strong network emerging that wants to contribute and is the UX well thought through? And is the service offered useful to people?
  • For security tokens: is there some technology underlying the security that gives the token a long-term competitive advantage?

2. Competitive Analysis (SWOT): is this unique in some way?
  • What are the possibilities past the first use case?
  • Is there a core technical or product advantage that is likely to lead to competitive differentiation?

3a. Technology: what is the tech?
  • What type of technology is it? (DApp? Infrastructure? Currency?)
  • What blockchain is it running on?
  • Are they developing their own infrastructure instead? If so, why?

3b. (Functioning) Prototype: how strong is the prototype?
  • Is there a working prototype code working on a testnet?
  • Do they have prototype code at all (even if its not currently executed)?
  • Does the code have commentary?
  • Does the commentary explain clearly the purpose of the function?
  • Are the functions a reasonable length? i.e. are they less than 50 lines?

4. Minimum Viable Product: how solid is the product?
  • Is there a working prototype?
  • Is the product's technical specification thorough and does it demonstrate mastery of the subject matter?
  • Are there people out there who want and need this product right now?
  • Does the product benefit from network effects?

5. Team: who's running the show?
  • Can the team be found on LinkedIn and Github?
  • Is the team exceptional technically, inclusive, transparent, objective and capable of fostering a vibrant global community?
  • Can this team attract partners and participants?
  • Are there people on the team who understand marketing and evangelizing?
  • Does the team have a history of success, demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles to success and strong desire beyond money?
  • Has the founding team demonstrated the characteristics (inclusive, transparent, objective, etc.) necessary to build a healthy community?
  • What is the founding team's expertise with cryptocurrencies and blockchain? Are there any red flags concerning their credibility in these areas?

6. Advisors: who are the big guns? (mentors and advisors)

7. Roadmap: where do they plan to go?
  • What is the roadmap for bringing their project to market?
  • Are the goals achievable based on what the team has accomplished to date?

8. Hype: what are people saying about the ICO? (ratings + community + PR)
  • Does the project have an announcement (ANN) thread on BitcoinTalk?
  • Is there a Reddit community?
  • Is there an official presence on Slack, Rocketchat, Gitter, Telegram?
  • Are there a significant number of users on the main social media pages for the project? (Bitcointalk, Telegram, Twitter, Medium, and YouTube)
  • How often has the project been mentioned in the press?
  • Has the project been mentioned in mainstream technology media and in prominent finance publications? (Techcrunch, VentureBeat, Forbes, WSJ, Reuters, etc.)

9. Token Offering Structure: can I make money?
  • What is the hard cap?
  • What is the soft cap?
  • How many tokens are being created?
  • What is price per token?
  • Will the software platform generate new tokens?
  • How will tokens be used after the ICO? (e.g., marketing, legal, development, etc.)
  • When will you have access to your tokens?

Thanks in advance for your input!
