DMS.MINING is cheaper than the Block Eruptor!  Grin

Even as difficulty increases, at it's current price (BTC0.00369/share)

Than you will love DMS.MINING even more:
0.015 for 5 MH/s ~ 0.003/share, that is 0,64% DAILY dividend (233% per year if difficulty doesn't increase).

Some more shares, so now is the total:
50 @ 4.5

(I'm buying together with friends, so maybe we will take few more shares - in that case I will PM Jutarul directly to keep this thread clean.)
4  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER fixed price auction 4.5BTC/share, 1000 shares on: July 02, 2013, 01:42:53 PM
I would like 3 more shares. That's in total:
32 @ 4.5

(sorry for updating again, I was waiting for more resources).
5  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER fixed price auction 4.5BTC/share, 1000 shares on: July 02, 2013, 10:19:44 AM
Actually, I would like 9 more, that is in total:
29 @ 4.5
6  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER fixed price auction 4.5BTC/share, 1000 shares on: July 02, 2013, 09:41:56 AM
20@4.5

I think that this deal could be summarized in this way:
The cca 6,000,000 shares sold (and another 14,000,000) are mainly for loan for funding R&D and production for VMC company. The risk of the loan is solely on investors in AMC.
For that 20,000,000 shares the investors are entitled to 2% of VMC's profits (AMC gets 10%, 20 mil. shares gets one fifth of that).
Also AMC has the option to buy the machines first (which is a great advantage, because the profit with mining much depends on when do you start mining compared to the difficulty) and is entitled to profits from mining (but at least 60% of the mining profits goes in Ken's pocket).

More of my notes below.

Thanks for the answers. I also read the most of this thread.

8 ) the profit calculation in contract is based on assumption that the difficulty will rise only by 6.5% on average for next 24 months
No the profit calculation in the contract is based on a 40 times increase in the difficulty in the next 25 months.  Also, there is a growth and expansion fund which receives 50% of the revenue for the next ~10 Months to purchase more mining equipment to keep up and exceed the difficulty raise.
Everyone can calculate what the diffculty will be depending on avarege increase here: http://btc.re/?t=miningcalc (just look at the difficulty, ignore the rest). Next difficulty change will be around 9%, last two times it was around 20%. Altough I don't think that this pace is sustainable I'm afraid that the difficulty assumed in two years in contract (358,971,840) is underestimated.

7) kslaughter is now selling the shares for 0.0025, but can later sell more for 0.0005 as stated in the summary at bifunder (also that has happened before).
Yes, this has happened before, due to the Bitfunder "God" Ukto forcing AMC to sale shares at .0005 when the market price was .0008.
I was talking about you dumping shares to drive the price from 0.001 to 0.0005 (also you used bid walls to drive the price up) then saying that for long term investors in doesn't matter. You were forced by Ukto and others to repay that.

9) shares have no voting rights - does it mean that contract can be changed? Or that shares can be diluted (more than 100,000,000 issued)?
The contract can not be changed.  There can not be anymore than 100,000,000 shares issued.
I tought so, unfortunately it isn't stated in the contract (I asked because you have been creative with filling the contract before).

One more issue, I think that there is just too much shares to be sold.

5,000,000 early adopter shares originally issued
2,000,000 early adopter shares 2nd round
2,000,000 bitfunder amc-pt btct.co shares
There is still 11,000,000 shares to be sold to "early adopters" (plus the 3,000,000 not sold yet in the 2nd round). That's $3,500,000 @0.0025

I'm not saying that Ken is a scammer, I'm just sceptical about the price and the contract.

Also everyone beware that the Vbs member is the biggest fanboy of AMC here, totally blind to any criticism.

Hello burnside,
can I ask how is the value of transfered shares in "My Value Analysis" calculated?
I have some DMS shares transfered from Deprived and some have some value, but one transfer is valued at BTC0.

It depends on the sender to plug something in.  I have a little JS that tries to grab the 7d avg when someone sends, but it doesn't always work.

I'm hoping before too long to have a way for people to edit that in the page.

Cheers.

How come my balance was showing X+100, and now is showing X? Can I have my free bitcoins back please?  Roll Eyes
The strange thing is, that the "Weighted Average Paid" is quite accurate (I have the actual value in excel sheet), thanks to the one transfer with 0 value Smiley

Do I understand it correctly that:

1) for 0.0025 I can buy share that represents 1/100,000,000th of profits of AMC mining

2) from now to next year's april I will get 1/40,000,000 of AMC's profits (unfortunately the ASICs are scheduled for Q4 2013 - Q1 2014)

3) the AMC's hardware is preordered from this other company VMC

4) the VMC's hardware development is supposedly funded by kslaughter (stated previously in this thread), but in the Marketing Strategy part of the contract at btct.co it's written "AMC is developing an ASIC chip which will be marketed through VMC." From the new anouncement: "VMC is also announcing today that 100% of the profits from bulk sales of the
Fast-Hash-ONE chips will be reimbursed to AMC until the total amount that AMC has paid to VMC for the NRE to create this chip is totally reimbursed to AMC."

5) if VMC start selling their chips to public, the AMC will get 10% of their profit

6) kslaughter has put his hard work and 6 Avalons in the company, now values his share in AMC for $15,000,000. Also he takes 90% of profit from the hardware sales

7) kslaughter is now selling the shares for 0.0025, but can later sell more for 0.0005 as stated in the summary at bifunder (also that has happened before).

8 ) the profit calculation in contract is based on assumption that the difficulty will rise only by 6.5% on average for next 24 months

9) shares have no voting rights - does it mean that contract can be changed? Or that shares can be diluted (more than 100,000,000 issued)?

I've probably misunderstood something, if that is the case, please correct me.

What does "Excessive wait trying to get lock on xxx" mean?
EDIT: Hm, the bid wasn't accepted. Anyone else having the same problem?
EDIT2: I tried to logout and login again, now it's working.
13  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: June 27, 2013, 08:31:31 AM
Voted NO
Reason behind it: just another DDoS attack against bitcoin like SatoshiDice
I think that just-dice is not spamming the blockchain. They use deposit/withdraw system, the bets are not in blockchain themselves. See: https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=238613 for more info.

Hello Joshua,
thanks for previous answers.
I just want to ask about this: "Weekly profits exceeding 1% of the capital from public offerings will be divided into carryover funds and dividends. Carry over funds are a way to grow the company and act as a safety mechanism."
How is the weekly profit above 1% divided between "carry over fund" and dividends? Is there a formula?
15  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] TAT.ASICMINER New Micro-share Passthrough! on: June 23, 2013, 03:42:34 PM
35@0.032001 <- price of TAT.ASICMINER atm . what does the first number before @ stand for ? this number goes up and down and is different on other stocks.
Its probably a very stupid question but Im just very new to all of this.
The answer is: 35 shares sold (and bought by somebody else) at the price of 0.032001. Look at the history tab on BTC-TC (history of trades, what amount at which price). And yes the question is stupid, but not as stupid as trading without knowing the answer.

Hello furuknap,
I have a few questions for you:

1) I remember that you defended the PAJKA.BOND several days ago (at the time it was cca 0.08 for 3 MH/s share), are you still holding the shares? Or did you managed to sell them with profit or loss?

2) What is your estimate of avarege difficulty rise in 3-12 months?

3) What is your estimate of difficulty rise from now to August when you start mining?

4) What do you think is the probability that the amount you can gain from IPO would be bigger than the total amount paid in dividends? (the price of share will fall unless the difficulty drops, which is almost impossible with ASICs arriving).
17  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] [TAT.VIRTUALMINE] Virtual Mining - Hash Without Hardware! on: June 22, 2013, 02:48:24 PM
Agreed.. As somebody said Deprived ruined another pretty amazing pmb..
I don't want to post off-topic in TAT's thread about Deprived. We can continue this discussion in Deprived's thread or via PM.
I'm thankful for Deprived's project, thread, and information in general, it helped me understand a lot about estimating a mining profit and difficulty rise.

Anyway, if you are holding VIRTUALMINE, or thinking about buying it, you should check this new thread calculating the possible profits: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=240556.0 (or do the math youselfs).

Hello Joshua,
it seems to me that you are doing everything you can to build a reputation. Good work so far!
I have a few questions:

1) What exactly does this (quote from the OP) mean?
Quote
Joshua Mutch has a comprehensive background in economics and the Australian Stock Exchange.
What is your experience in economics? How big is your own portfolio at the ASE? Please elaborate.

2) How reliable is your internet connection, do you have a backup alternative? (I'm asking because it happened to me - my ISP had outage at the time when I wanted to trade).

3) How much time do you spend trading/learning about bitcoin assets per day?

4) Do you have a deathswitch? Please elaborate.

Full disclosure: I hold a few shares in SANDSTORM.
19  Economy / Securities / Re: Hashrates of mining securities on: June 20, 2013, 02:30:55 PM
@ryan1894: PAJKA.BOND is mining at 3 MH/s, the 15 MH/s is promised when his BFL order (from February, if I remember correctly) is delivered.
20  Economy / Securities / Re: PMB (mining bonds) price compared per 1 Mhash/s on: June 18, 2013, 06:15:31 PM
I did this comparison mainly for myself, but I tought that I could share it. I've added the links, thanks for suggestion. The three PMBs are the biggest ones at BTC-TC (and the first two are the cheapest as far as I know), if anyone want to add another - post it, I will add it to the OP. Now I have not enough time for it.

Here is two weeks old comparison from TAT with more mining assets (some are not PMB): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=223442.msg2347594#msg2347594
