Neblio, Nebulas, Onion for sure.

I think you need to choose few mid-low cap coins for huge returns.

I think TRX and Justin need some time to show their potential, it's just market correction and I think it will bounce back soon.

One of the best opportunities to buy. In august was same type of "crash" when I bought NEO and OMG, so it's best time to buy

I would put into ICO. My top choices are WePower and Bee Token. Do your own research before buying. Good luck

What the hell is goin on with Tron.. I cant sell as I will sell at a loss. So you would sell your XLM and go for ADA? To be honest people all recommended TRX cos it was solid like ADA.. Fast forward a bit and it turned into a spirall falling rocket I'm holding TRX and it's dying, but I think it will bounce back soon.

Hello guys I'm just curious, what small/mid cap projects are you watching and why?
Here's my choice, bitclave, universa, zilliqa, qlink all of them not even listed in the exchange site but I remember bitclave alreayd listed on the bibox exchange site and consider about the total supply and that's very easy to the moon soon. But I never try to see those midcap alts. Mid cap, Monetha, Taas, Oax, Worldcore and Stox. They're all legit projects and their teams are really working on a product platform. Eventually, they will be the giants of the market. Trust me about this. I have Monetha, solid team solid project.

I suggest you to do your investment in 2 different way. Invest like 100$ to a long term coin like waves to get 4-5k in a year or so. Secondly do some short term investments like Neo or musicoin to get 2x.
I think it's best time to invest right ? every coin drop 10% or more.. I think I will wait a bit and then start the game. I'm thinking investing 40% of my funds in top 10 coins, 40% in mid coins and 20% in low cap coins? what do you think guys ?

Don't give the decision about your investment out of your hands. I started with an equal amount how you are planning to. The first thing you should do is: Read! And then: Read, read, read! After a while you can seperate the wheat from the chaff. You will get a feeling about, which member here on BCT is trustable and which are not. When you find a really smart and interesting posting, look at the profil from the author and read his other posts. Do they confirm your impression? Try to find a couple of members who really understand the market. Members who point at a perfekt (early) time on promising coins and projects. If you read a brandnew post from such reputated members like this, go immediately to the project page and: Read, read, read! Push your feelings beside. Think about if this project has something to offer. Something new, something good, something which can give the project more value sooner or later. Take a small look at the dev team and at the community. What are your impressions? Does it look seroius? Does it look smart? Motivated? Is the community a group of blind believing kiddies, or a union of experts? Then try to understand the connections between supply, marketcap and price in order to assess the possible increase of the value. Compare it to coins with similar preconditions. But at least, the art of making profit is: Don't make a science out of what I told you above. Because to trade-off again and again leaves you uncertain and prevents you from tucking in at the perfect time. If your head says for 70 to 30 "Yes!" and your heart for 90% at least: Go in immediately! And when you really believe, don't care about the dumps and pumps which will follow (for sure). Don't regret anything. Dont cry about lost opportunities (the forrest is always full of them, that doesn't matter). Just go straight ahead. Watch the market and learn. Take a brief look at the chart before investing. Compare it to other charts. Projects of active dev-teams have other charts than dead projects. Try to find patterns which can help you. And when you diversificate your investment over 5 to 8 projects and when you not make the biggest mistake: to buy in when the price is high or have risen a lot in the last days / weeks - you will make profit. Sometimes you can ride on an upcoming hype, too. But in this case it is often better to jump of the horse after the half way than to wait till the bitter end. Good profits are good profits and better than no profits. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I wish you luck and have fun at the market! Regards! McW You words really motivates me. I think every beginner must read this!

Hello, It's my first steps in Crypto World. Great Community, read a lot of useful stuff. I want to start investing in currencies/assets. At this time I'm low on budget, can invest max $400-500. So investing in top currencies is not worth I think. Which would be better to research solid cryptocurrency that already exists or invest this money into ICO-s (I know risk are high when we are talking about ICO)? Or wait till I raise my funds like 1k or more. I know on this budget long-term is a little stupid, so which will be better for the short-term period. I have researched some of the projects , that I think is worth to invest. BAT, OMG, LISK, NEO. Any advice will be helpful. Thanks in advance
You should start investing as much as you can afford. You don't need to be buying 1 whole coin to start making profits. Invest on smaller fractions of coins which have good potential. Don't forget about opportunity cost. You will be missing out the potential gain if you wait to raise your funds to 1k. Also beaware of users who will encourage you to invest on some shit coins. They are from pump/dump groups wanting to make some quick profit. Yeah I was thinking about opportunity cost. I'm not going to invest in shit coins, research is key and I'm not lazy about it. How can I evaluation potential? Solid project, roadmap, whitepaper, dev team, advisers? And what do you think, which is more profitable to invest all the money into 1 project or split on different?

I started low budget also. Start doing some research on some of the smaller market cap coins. Find one you believe in than purchase and hold. The ways things are going You'll probably double or triple real fast and can branch out from there. Also don't disregard the top coins, they are still doubling all the time.
What you call small market cap ? under 10 mil? under 50 mil ?

Well if you dont have too much funds (less than $2k) then you wont take much profit from your trades. But if you only trade with a pair you can easily earn 0.01 every day with a minimum pump, that is if you trade... So if you are going to hold coins, then you can start with any amount and you will have a lot of profit in the future. My suggestion is that if wait a little more, and hold as much as you can right now.
For low budget holding is more profitable that trading ? I was thinking opposite..

My opinion you can pick Waves , Ethereum , Litecoin and some Dogecoin , these Altcoin the price growing slow but sure.
I would not pick Dogecoin the days of Dogecoin are long gone. Back in 2014/2015 it was big, but now it is going the way of the Dodo, sadly. Dogecoin is just going up again and is good to transfer Bitcoins fast and cheap indirectly. But you are right, its to risky to invest into doge. 400$ is large enough to create a good portfolio of wellknown cryptos. I would take Bitcoin for half amount and the rest for wellknown altcoins like for example Ethereum, Dash, ZCash, Litecoin and so on and ICOs of promising projects with innovative or social projects like Solar DAO Coin or CareCoin. You can find many helpful infos about ICOs here in altcoin section. So buy $200 BTC, $200 different altcoins. Hodl it for 2-3 month or longer, sell it when it's high and reinvest funds into new currencies ? What you think about BAT?
