1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin under 1$ to invest in now? on: December 14, 2017, 11:03:33 AM
Check out Zilliqa - they're on my watchlist now and ICO starting in 5 days - technology is a game changer, introducing sharding etc - check it out if you haven't yet...
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ZRX? on: December 14, 2017, 11:00:50 AM
Personally im holding Ox ZRX - see a lot of long term potential that may come with time. Feel its definitely worth the risk - only a small proportion of my portfolio being comitted though
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ether price hit 700$ by the end of 2017. on: December 14, 2017, 10:59:57 AM
Bit late... but yes I think it will continue with its strong growth - it has so many positive headwinds still to come - Raiden and Plasma - onwards and upwards for ETH
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrency To Watch In 2018 on: December 14, 2017, 10:58:32 AM
I think ADA is the currency to watch - huge expectations over the next year as Ouroboros gets traction in development. For now i see it as the coin with the most potential growth, and likelihood to overtake many of the top 10 cryptos.
If you haven't looked into it - I recommend you check out Cardano's website and read the whitepapers... I think they will change the game entirely
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I Late to the Party? on: December 14, 2017, 10:56:45 AM
Definitely not - we are still in the days of early adopters! See the innovation adoption curve of rogers - this puts it perfectly - the world of cryptocurrency has only just begun.
Perfect example is with Smart Contract technology - this will change the world and is in extremely early stages of development

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin will make us rich? on: December 07, 2017, 11:33:46 AM
Without a doubt, for me, ADA Cardano has the most growth potential - I see ridiculous potential for it over the next year, as its tech improves and new releases are made. Third Generation Blockchain tech at its best (read into Ouroboros!)
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and LTC which is valuable ? on: December 07, 2017, 11:28:35 AM
Definitely ETH in my opinion - Yes currently Ethereum has some major scalability issues, however when Raiden and Plasma come in, the network will be significantly improved, and hence I expect the market cap to continue on its steady increase! Definitely prefer ETH as an investment than LTC
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 Crypto predictions on: December 07, 2017, 11:26:11 AM
Personally I think 2018 will be a game changer for Ethereum - currently there are countless limitations with the scalability etc, but when Raiden and Plasma come in, the network will be significantly improved, and hence I expect the market cap to continue on its steady increase
Also major high expectations for ADA Cardano - I see this as an absolute game changer in the Crypto world - 3rd generation tech at its best
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: December 07, 2017, 11:24:18 AM
Remember that the Deep Onion airdrop is still ongoing, and not even half way there! Highly recommend getting involved, a very exciting community and product potential - in my opinion it is undervalued heavily (with such a small market cap)
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your method to find potential in an altcoin? on: December 01, 2017, 02:20:46 AM
Personally, I try and look at it purely from a Product perspective:
- How unique is the proposed product
- How is the team running the product
- How close to having a live beta version of the product available
- How frequent will large announcements take (once a year or monthly)

The community plays a huge part for the Alts - for example Deep Onion, the community they have is exceptional and it promotes a common consensus among investors to hold and promote their asset. This builds a healthy investment ecosystem in which Alt coins should thrive.
I also like to act on gut - some Alt's catch my eye due to their technological potential alone - see ADA for example - I see purely undeniable potential
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen in Dec ? on: December 01, 2017, 02:12:47 AM
Personally I feel December will be a very exciting AltCoin period, with certain coins significantly outperforming Bitcoin (my gut). I'm feeling bullish personally on ADA, Stratis, MTL and NEO in particular. The big unknown for me is how the Alt market will perform in the new year!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Altcoin on: December 01, 2017, 02:10:43 AM
I naturally sway away from BTC and focus on alts - purely for the business case perspective. What can be implemented on some alt coins technology from Smart Contract perspectives (ETH, ADA etc) I believe will change businesses globally, as the potential to make processes more efficient, streamlined and risk free via these more complex smart contracts is undeniable. This is why I naturally lend towards investing in Alts (specifically those capable of complex smart contract development).

There's also the other key perspective, which is anonymity - there is a very exciting alt market now (see deep onion) who are harnessing the potential of fully anonynmous transactions on the blockchain; and the business use case for these coins is tremendous. These are the other Alt opportunties that personally have caught my eye a great deal
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: December 01, 2017, 02:04:36 AM
I'm sure its been posted in the previous 340 pages of posts, but the Deep Onion airdrop is ongoing - https://deeponion.org/airdrop.html
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: December 01, 2017, 01:59:38 AM
It surprises me that so many promote Ripple as a strong long term investment? I am struggling to find the value in the token personally, the technology itself indeed is being mass adopted and has huge potential; but I don't see any scenario in which this should directly leverage and enhance the XRP Market Cap...
Personally, LISK, MTL, ADA and Onion are the coins I see the most future potential in
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cash , Worth to invest in ? on: December 01, 2017, 01:52:54 AM
I agree with what was raised previously in this discussion: upon any correction with btc, I see it as highly likely that there will be a pump and dump in bitcoin cash due to both investors seeing it as an attractive alt to move assets into - likely due to the temporary shift of miners towards bitcoin cash when BTC mining is less profitable.
I don't personally see the long term value of bitcoin cash, it doesn't have a unique product which has strong future prospect to be mass adopted in my opinion.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: December 01, 2017, 01:48:34 AM
Altcoins can be extremely profitable, however at the same time, many can result as worthless.
Personally, I find that if you identify an alt coin that has a product which you truly believe in, and think it has potential to change the current status quo, it is worth investing a small portfolio of your portfolio for a long-term hold. If you feel there is strong potential in the underlying token; I see it as a more valuable investment than bitcoin itself (just my opinion)
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: December 01, 2017, 01:43:27 AM
I agree with the consensus that it can survive, especially on the short term. The currency has reached the point that institutional investments are beginning to flood in, with global billionaires staking as well. This combined with global MNC's accepting BTC as a form of payment, and derivatives/futures being introduced, in my opinion can be seen as a solid cement layer holding the value of Bitcoin to some extent.
I believe it is now far more secure, and that we may see its volatility decrease over the next year.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Social media on: December 01, 2017, 01:00:54 AM
Is Facebook good or bad for the new generation?

I'd prefer twitter over facebook in regards to any kind of adversting.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Already lost 50% of my capital on: November 30, 2017, 08:10:06 PM
Hello guys. I just want to ask for your opinion or an advice.
I started trading since May 2017. I calculated all my loss, I already lost 50% of my capital  Sad. Some coins are still in hold.
I just want to ask what can you give to me an advice or any learnings  about trading. I'm using bittrex.

Don't buy shit coins and start  doing exchanges in between stable coins, you can't afford to lose that amount of your capital.
