2  Local / Pilipinas / Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day! on: May 22, 2024, 10:54:32 PM
Almost forgot na Bitcoin Pizza Day Pala May 22  Smiley

Quote
I'll pay 10,000 bitcoins for a couple of pizzas.. like maybe 2 large ones so I have some left over for the next day.  I like having left over pizza to nibble on later.  You can make the pizza yourself and bring it to my house or order it for me from a delivery place, but what I'm aiming for is getting food delivered in exchange for bitcoins where I don't have to order or prepare it myself, kind of like ordering a 'breakfast platter' at a hotel or something, they just bring you something to eat and you're happy!

I like things like onions, peppers, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, pepperoni, etc.. just standard stuff no weird fish topping or anything like that.  I also like regular cheese pizzas which may be cheaper to prepare or otherwise acquire.

If you're interested please let me know and we can work out a deal.

Thanks,
Laszlo

Found this event rin sa May 2024 dito sa Pinas, CryptoBilis presents ‘Bitcoin Pizza Day 2024’ in collaboration with Satoshi Labs & Trezor : Probably, The Largest Bitcoin Pizza Party in the World Kaso nga lang may bayad ito.
3  Local / Pilipinas / Re: USDT from Binance to Peso? on: May 22, 2024, 02:20:16 AM
Is anyone know the best way to withdraw my $6000 USDT to Peso?
it's currently sitting on my Binance account.

6  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Seabank sa P2P Exchange on: May 19, 2024, 03:31:52 PM

10  Local / Pilipinas / Re: High Fees sa Electrum on: May 15, 2024, 04:53:45 PM

$5 at the time.

Good day everyone, can anyone explain to me here what I've been doing wrong or is it totally normal? I usually do this kind of transaction but the fees seem to be a little bit high this time as you can see here. Most of the time my transactions were around 40$ and transaction fees were only around 2$ most of the time, of course except if the network was congested but it doesn't seem to be congested as per checking.

I wasn't expecting this kind of fee since I've checked the mempool was only a 1$-2$ to confirm. It usually matches, electrum fees and mempool are matched in my past transactions as far as I can remember, It doesn't take this much gas or fees just to make these transactions, I would totally understand if the network was congested just like on the Bitcoin halving day, which is around 200$.

Am I missing something here? I just reformatted my desktop computer and reinstalled my wallet on it, is there something that I've changed on the electrum setting probably? or this was just normal because of the Bitcoin Halving? Thanks for your help.

High Fees on Electrum? Normal?

17  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is next significant correction coming? on: May 12, 2024, 11:24:54 PM
Hi all!

We all seen what Bitcoin was doing for the past month and most of us would like to get some more Bitcoin. I was waiting for a good moment to do that for about 3 weeks and in terms of buying the dip it ain't looking good.

It was consolidating for so long now! Please share your thoughts on to when another correction may be expected?

Thank you and have a good day Smiley

I think this might be a good moment to buy, I mean you are not really going to predict the movement in the market it's going to be difficult if you just going to wait for the best opportunity you might end up waiting for nothing and end up not buying until the Bullrun, It happened to me a lot of times so the best time to buy is right now, and do not do it on very high amounts, start to accumulate weekly or monthly in that way you could lower your risk of your investment for sure. We all recommend to do Dollar Cost Averaging since its the best and safest strategy for cryptocurrency investment, as long as you are going to sell your token on the top you're always going to end up making a good profit on it so there was no need to wait for the right timing in the market just keep on accumulating Bitcoin until you earn a huge amount.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was holding on to Ledger and I got robbed on: May 12, 2024, 04:16:27 PM
Let's face it your money was gone, there was no way to return it for sure, and this happened in 2022 right so probably your money was already spent by the thief.

Ledger surely is secured by for sure this was some limitation, since you have health problems already you should have intrusted it already to someone that you already trust, I mean it's your money, but you abandoned your computer with thousands of dollars, that includes your hardware wallet right, he got access with your wallet so he probably got your ledger, I mean there was nothing to blame since you got robbed but you should have the precautions on it if you know you have money on it, I mean it's like abandoning your wallet in a place that wasn't secured.

You might be able to file a complain about this, I mean all of the transactions are going to be traced but it is going to take a lot of your time for sure, and in my opinion, the best you could do here is probably block some of the accounts of the hacker, I mean you mention Binance, it was centralized so with enough evidence you might know the identity of the hacker if you're going to be persistent, but even so it was only a very low chance that you money will be back, Binances users are around the world if you're going to file a case and its on the different country it might not be worth it at all, just move on in my opinion because there was probably nothing that you could actually do.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A question to all the people that have invested before? on: May 12, 2024, 01:05:24 PM
A question to all of you that have invested in Bitcoin before, what does it look like? Because I know there are so many people that want to get into it, but they fill is not real, so I want to get some ideas from anybody that know how it's work please 🙏.

Dont understand it completely but the way I understand what your saying is you just wanted to know if the Bitcoin investment was true or not If that is what you're talking about it is true, and if you wanted to start as well on Bitcoin do it on your own make your own research learn about it and everything because there was no other way on it, your the only who should do it and not some other people that you're going to trust with your money to invest on Bitcoin. If you really want to invest and start on it take your time and learn it, I mean you are already here in the forum, there is already enough information here just to learn the basics.

I always advise this to newbies, one thing that they should do is learn what is Bitcoin investment and then if they already have the knowledge and they think that they know what they are doing already they should start investing right away because the best time to invest is right now if you're going to wait for the right timing, it might not come since you cannot predict the movement of the market, I mean your not really going to buy only once the key here is to accumulate Bitcoin overtime, Dollar Cost Averaging is always the best strategy to lower the risk of your investment except of course if you have a huge money where you could buy a huge amount of Bitcoin at once.
