I looked at uploading to them, but it costs loads and I only wanted 8 Coins. I went for a face to face trade.

Cool, so they use the transaction ID's of the Bitcoin thing to check if you sent or not. This can't be faked can it.

I am still a little unsure on how a escrow system is used, can't the person lie about sending.

Hi, I was wondering how using a escrow works on a internet forum. I know how they work in real life with houses and stuff like that but I see people use it here too. Is there a company or a website that offers Bitcoin escrow?

Nice story!  I have sold bitcoins a few times on a face to face basis, and its always at McD! The issue of getting cash out of an ATM is a big problem which is just getting bigger - the most I think you can get out of a UK one is usually about £500 in the nicer parts of the country. Its great to hear a nice story about bitcoin which doesn't end badly! Maybe this could become a trend?  I like face to face trades, just seems safe for me. Plus it's the only way I have really bought coins before. I am a pretty shy guy to people I haven't really met before so eating McDonalds with a complete stranger was a little nerve racking for me haha. |

Shoud of to Namecheap and purchase a .com or something, I used to own a website a while back and people didn't like free domains.
