I’m looking forward to PoS starting as well, obviously the reward won’t be as good as having a masternode but getting stakes and knowing that in a small way I am contributing to tx confirmations on the chain is kool too as well as increasing my GenX balance of course.

IMO, KYC goes against one of the core principles of crypto currencies; privacy.  Being able to be involved without prying eyes tracking and watching your every move.  I believe they started mainly with ICO’s, to an extent one could understand why ICO projects are required to do KYC but I can never understand why airdrop or bounty projects will require KYC.  When I see such setup, I automatically get very suspicious of the project, they are either data farming or something else untoward.

Someone has to sell though, otherwise volume won’t be there.  I think the important thing is not to sell at a ridiculous price but then again folks would do whatever they intend to.  Nonetheless, there are many of us who wish to have enough GenX to get a masternode therefore any low price sale  would be picked up almost immediately by others. 

Rightly or wrongly, I have seen many with tunnel vision when it comes to BTC.  It’s like blind faith really, I find that ‘hope’ is really what most people are hanging onto despite all the forecasts and graphs etc.  I too hope that BTC price recovers at some point but I also realise that indeed that thing called a ‘bubble’ by many others may have finally busted.  

I think what he might mean is that GenX/BTC pairing has been the strongest, trade wise but considering that BTC isn’t doing so well, consequently has an effect on how much support is provided by BTC holders.   It’s a no brainer really, BTC isn’t going great, GenX price is still very very cheap, why would I hold on to BTC and watch it fall even further.  

That is impressive, you must have a decent rig set up then to be able to get that much within a month.  I can only wish that much coins by month end. But then again I might some some kool festive gifts (fiat wise), which means i would be able to buy some more GenX. 

I share your sentiment but I feel the opportunity is still there to try to accumulate as much as possible.  Especially now knowing that MN’s will be implemented first then subsequently PoS.   I would be happy to have between 200 to 350K for a shared MN when the time comes.   Pretty happy and confident that the days of 10 sats will not return though.

Well in most cases, what you do with airdrop or ICO tokens and when you do it should be determined by some factors.  Such as your analysis of the tokens potential, your finances (portfolio), market situation etc.  There is no simple answer, some tokens are at their weakest (cheapest) immediately after hitting exchange while some others will gain overtime.  Whatever the case, it is very important to DYOR about each project you are involved in, if you understand the project white paper and roadmap, you are in a better position to decide if or when to sell.   

I agree, it seems that bullrun is slowly creeping up on us.  I was hoping to have my buy orders filled at 20sats but it seems I miscalculated that.  Still 25 sats is a decent amount to buy some more, I should still average out a decent price.  I am hopeful that we will get a kind of affiliated shared MN service because I don’t expect that I will have the 750K MN required but should have enough to join a shared MN.

I agree with you on that.  Speaking generally about crypto, we really need a miracle now to put a stop to this bleeding, crypto needs to heal. I believe that if markets isn’t how it is now, the support for GenX would crazy right now.  But even with that, the price is about where it should be really at this stage, support will grow as time goes.  1 million is a great target but I can only wish that.  I would be happy if I have 50% of a MN collateral.

Price is doing what it should be doing at this stage I think.   I always say slow but steady wins the race, we saw a spike up to 75sato but it has since balance out again.   Considering the overall market situation right. Ow GenX is doing extremely well.  I agree with you that at this price, it’s still very much a bargain.   Not sure if I expected STEX listing to impact price tbh, I would imagine more people use Tradesatoshi than uses STEX. 

As the saying goes..’it’s not over until the fat lady sings’.  No, I don’t believe it’s game over bitcoin, far from it actually.  Just another period of prolonged discount on the value of BTC.  Come to think of it, it seems to me that we have to expect perhaps far too much for the BTC value.  We should note that for every downturn or spike in the market, there are winners and losers, so the fall is not necessarily a bad thing.  Deeper dip = Higher bounce.

I doubt that this will happen.  IMO BTC has proven itself to be the King and leader of crypto world and that will not change anytime soon.  If any alts would seem to unseat btc, markets like the one we have now and have had for the whole year would be the ideal situation to make a move but as we can all see, when BTC sneezes, alts catch a cold.  Already several BTC forks and none has come even close to 50% of btc’s Value.

Congratulations to the team and the Genesis community on STEX listing, I should definitely be registering on that platform to trade. .  We are getting stronger by the day, and it’s really impressive also to see how GenX has been holding its own on Tradesatoshi despite the down turn in the past couple of days.

OMG OMG I can’t believe I won.  The very first time I have won anything in crypto.  Well I want to say a very big thank you to the Genesis team for your generousity.  And thank you to the GenX community.  I’m sure there is more to come from this great team.

Common GenX community, let’s keep the Cryptaldash vote going.  I can honestly say i’m doing my votes diligently.  Not because the team or anyone else says so, but for my own good, for the sake of my investment and betterment of the Genesis project.   One thing I like about this from the team side is NOT incentivise the vote.  Help the project to help yourself.

I don’t think that necessarily makes it a scam but it means your DYOR just take even more important role in your decision making.  Unlike everyday business, IcO’s are asking people to donate to a business model whereby investors have little or no legal cover if something goes wrong.  An ICO team being anonymous make this a tricky process but even teams not annynouns have walked away with ICO contributions in the past without grace.  
IMO ICO’s need regulation, it is too easy to tonput together a project now in the ICO format.

I agree with you on that.  Solid and steady growth is what we need with GenX, not sudden price spikes because that usually end up going the opposite way shortly after.  The project speaks for itself.  Even the wallet update teaser shown on the discoed a few days ago look very impressive with the addition of masternodes. 

Very interesting thoughts OP.  I agree, most times I have heard that ‘money isn’t everything’ phrase it’s usually from those who are doing well or have done extremely well for themselves.  While I agree with the phrase, having financial freedom totally impacts which side one sits on the applicability of the phrase.  The fact one is rich and adopts the phrase is possible only because all the things that could be taken care of with money is no longer a worry.  Whereas, for someone who isn’t finanacially free, there is the issue of money as well as everyday problems like relationships, wellbeing, happiness etc.

GenX price has moved up a little bit but I think even at this price, it is still incredibly cheap to invest.100sats would be a very good starting point to realise the value of GenX but even at 100 sats, it will still be very cheap to invest.   The true value will be in high multiples of hundreds.  So there is still a great chance now IMO to invest, regardless of the price.
