1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SCRIV [POW / MASTERNODES] - Data assurance network on: March 10, 2018, 01:50:55 PM
I`m pretty skeptical about this one. Whitepaper is rushed and riddled with buzzwords, grammatical mistakes and generic promises. Could you please elaborate, what do you mean by "IoT integration" (Rasperries, etc)? I didn`t see clear vision what your chain is trying to excel at. It leaves impression that it is Yet Another Masternode Chain for profits, not designed for real world use cases.
To your defense, I liked Masternode setup manual which shows that you have done some work in the background but the manual will need to be updated as soon as the wallet is released as it contains placeholders.
I'm sorry for negative first impression. Whitepaper was reviewed and modified several times. But mistakes still can exsist, english is not a native language for our team. We would be greatfull, if you could specify wrong formulations or incorrect statements - contact us contact@scriv.network. Our plans and promisses are absolutely achievable, development roadmap was with a margin calculated. Exchanges, bounty paragraphs was included to roadmap for showing that we are focused not only on development, but also on marketing too. We worked out only general provisions of "IoT integration". We meant ability to save any data from sensors, activators, etc in our network. Personally i'm former marine electrical engineer and there is several use cases this technology will improve. Thanks for your comment.
Thank you for your answer, that`s a bonus point for you! Also, mining algorithm is different than most projects and now I`m looking forward to wallet release. Hope it has instructions how to build the wallet on linux.

cryptotore - you could take a look at Eaton ePDU G3 Managed models: http://powerquality.eaton.com/ePDUG3/ which provide remote outlet switching. Just make sure to update firmware and change default credentials while on-site because I`ve had problems to do that remotely.
Eaton provides 1-phase as well as 3-phase PDU's (hint - 3-phase PDU's can be connected to 1-phase source just by modifying the connector).

APC also provides switched rack PDU's: http://www.apc.com/shop/lv/en/categories/power-distribution/rack-power-distribution/switched-rack-pdu/_/N-17k76am

Investors will also receive all profits which is not usual for alot of coins.
If investors receive all the profits, what is the incentive for founders? Reading the whitepaper didn`t give me a straightforward answer. Whitepaper therefore is misleading or not telling everything we need to know. The quality of whitepaper also is not up to level.

And it's an instant and efficient exchange. Much faster than existing ones.
Is it now? Could you give me a link to this instant and efficient exchange site, which is faster than existing ones? Maybe it could be some time in the future, when it will be deployed, but right now there is no exchange, not even a prototype! There is no development put into exchange codebase yet.

My initial thoughts are that everyone`s judgement is clouded by promised big profits in tenfolds/hundredfolds during the preICO.

Are there any more use cases besides "becoming highly collectible crypto token and traded on exchanges"? Without a real world use case it will become obsolete sooner or later.

I have a 12 gtx1060 3gb cards rig mining ETH, each card is running at 75 watts. I'd like to switch to ZEC, do I need to increase the power limit to get max profits? How many watts is the proper setting?
I run my 3GB 1060`s (ASUS 1060 DUAL OC and Gigabyte 1060 Windforce OC) on 80W both on ETH and ZEC. If I go lower than hasrate drops significantly. 80W is sweet spot for me.
For ZEC I run cards GPU clock +100, memclock +1000, super stable for weeks now and getting ~260 sol/s. I must add that these cards do not have Samsung memory and must be getting less ZEC sol/s because for ETH I get max 19,5 MH/s when overclocked.

What is the goal of this fork? What problems are you trying to solve?
