1  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to send BTC from Electrum to Binance? on: March 21, 2025, 07:16:01 PM
I need to make a payment and the seller sent me the following message:

"You can make your payment using either Bitcoin.
Please refer to the attached document for the wallet numbers.
Ensure that you double-check the network name before proceeding with the payment."

I know that sending inside Binance, I can select the option "segwitbtc".
But I make the payment from my wallet to a wallet address (Binance). So is there a way to select sgwitbtc in the Electrum App?

This is the image the seller sent me:

Were do I find the option to select this network. I´m using latest version of Electrum 4.5.8 (portable).

I tried to increase to 100 sat/b. but the fee is almost the double. If I don´t increase the fee, how long will it take to be confirmed?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Uncomfirmed Transaction on: November 18, 2023, 12:21:19 PM
0.15 (50.3 sat/b.) and 0.008 (50.2 sat/b.)

Hi
I have similar issue with unconfirmed transaction. About 15 days ago, I sent a value to a wallet but after some days it was still unconfirmed. Until now, I increased the fee twice but after this 15 days it shows me still unconfirmed.
2 days ago I sent a small value to the same wallet but with a higher fee and until now, it still shows me unconfirmed.
I´m using Electrum  and atm the position in mempool is 26.92 MB from tip.

Never had issues before, but now it takes too long to be sent.

I appreciate any help.
Thanks

And what is the difference between: ETA, Static and Mempool and which one I should use?

Hi.

I´m user of Electrum wallet. But it just uses BTc. Is there a trustable wallet like Electrum which can be used with almost or all other coins atm?
Which is the best cold (hardware) wallet now, because there are so many offers and it is difficult to select one?

I appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Done. Lets wait now.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction still unconfirmed after 3 days on: February 11, 2021, 06:13:39 PM
Where do I find this txid?

Double-click on your transaction in the "History" tab and you should see it in a new window. There is no need to provide us your transaction id. Once you double-click on your transaction, you should see "Replace by fee". If it says "True" then you can follow the instructions from my first post.

This is the fee I paid for the transaction.  0.0007164 BTC  ( 31.4 sat/byte )
Yes, I can replace my fee.
When I change the value, Electrum gives me a new one, like 41.1 sat/byte. I just confirm but nothing happens. Do I need to change the option to Mempool, ETM (which is set as default) or Static?
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction still unconfirmed after 3 days on: February 11, 2021, 05:29:42 PM
I think providing the transaction hash (txid) will be appropriate, or Sauaba should track the transaction on blockchain explorer, because if the transaction is not support replace-by-fee, he will not be able to neither cancel the transaction not pump the fee.
Where do I find this txid?
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Transaction still unconfirmed after 3 days on: February 11, 2021, 05:01:38 PM
Hi
I sent a small amount (BTC) from my Electrum Wallet to Localbitcoin. I have made several transactions in the last 2 years without any issue. I got the message that the transaction was completed (sent) but still waiting in my LBC account and no confirmation yet.
Is there a way to fix, accelerate or cancelling it?
13  Bitcoin / Electrum / Creating other Wallets using Electrum on: April 13, 2020, 12:07:23 PM
Hi

I still have a Wallet but I needed to create a new one. So, I did. But no BTC in it. I created a BTC adress to receive and saved it with a name and created a Backup of this new wallet. So. I was waiting to receive a little value but the BTC address was invalid. When I logged into this new wallet, I verified that the Address hase not been saved, but I´m sure it was.

Did I make something wrong?
14  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Bitcoin Cash on: April 12, 2019, 12:15:37 PM
And what about Electroncash? It looks to be based on Electrum, but uses just BCH. Can I trust this program?

Can someone indicate an alternative to Localbitcoins, who accept Bitcoin Cash?
16  Bitcoin / Electrum / Bitcoin Cash on: April 11, 2019, 12:10:59 PM
Hi.
first I want to say that Electrum is really great. After Multibit discontinued their product, I use just Electrum.
But I have a question.
Does Electrum accept also currencies like Bitcoin Cash?
If I create a wallet address to receive Bitcoin and send it to my client (who uses just Bitcoin Cash), do I also receive it or just Bitcoin?

Thanks in advance for any help.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Bitcoin Cash on: April 11, 2019, 12:03:05 PM
Hi.
Indicated here, until now I´m using Localbitcoins.com. But I didn´t know that Localbitcoins.com doesn´t handle with Bitcoin Cash. A person made a transfer to my wallet of Localbitcoins but it never has been credited. Today I knew, that he send Bitcoin Cash.
I lost my money and I know that there is no way to get it back.
Is ther another good option like Localbitcoins.com, which accepts other currencies including Bitcoin Cash?
Can someone help me with it.
I appreciate very much.
Thanks i advance.
18  Bitcoin / Electrum / Electrum and VPN on: March 15, 2019, 01:56:03 PM
Hi.
I´m a lucky user of Electrum. But I don´t know, why Electrum keeps disconnected when I run Electrum with VPN connected? Tried several servers and nothing. After disconnecting from VPN and using my real IP, Electrum connects and works without any issue.
Is there a workaround to fix it?
Thanks for any help. I´m using PureVPN.
19  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Avast Malware Warning (electrum 3.3.2) (maybe false warning?) on: December 30, 2018, 08:21:55 PM
Same here and for the first time.
Downloaded both, Setup and Portable from this source:

https[Suspicious link removed]

I set the link of electrum and forum deleted as suspicious link.

Portable is ok and working, but Setup has been blocked by Windows Defender as Trojan.

20  Bitcoin / Electrum / Electrum 3.2.2 not working with VPN on: July 24, 2018, 06:26:18 PM
I´m using latest version of Electrum and with this version I cannot connect while I´m using VPN. Just with my real IP. This issue I have just with v3.2.2. With a previous version (3.1.3) Electrum worked fine with VPN connections. Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks
