1  Bitcoin / Armory / Created btc wallet when armory was offline and sen bitcoin to it... on: December 04, 2020, 06:49:42 PM
Hey guys, as stated:

I wasnt familiar with Armory and installed it for first use. I created a wallet, clicked receive btc. The adress that was created was used to send btc to it.
The problem is, Armory was in offline modus while I did it.

Im totally synced now and finally got it to talk with bitcoin core. Everything is on green but the balance is not showing.

Is this due to creating the wallet when it was offline? It was quite a big test transaction so I would really like to retreive it. (y I shouldve tested a small amount first I know. My bad)

Is this possible in some way or is the BTC lost because of the wallet not being created online when I have send BTC to it.

Any, but for real, ANY help is appreciated a lot.

Thanks for every response in advance Smiley

Am I the only one who thinks the guy deserves some respect for doing this?

just sit tight and wait until you get your money back, I m confident he will pay everyone. But as mentioned earlier, it takes time.

Interesting comment considering you don't even seem to have a stake in this issue.   At least you can't be found on the spreadsheet.

I own four of the accounts on the list.  Cool Sad

Some people here will understand what this is telling us.

This raises two possibilities.

  • They've had a config cock up whilst doing something with the site.
  • They've taken the site offline and are preparing to launch a different site from that server.

I don't understand any of this but one thing. There is still a server "online" so there is a 0.00001% that they will come back online, am I right?  Huh Tongue

One thing is for sure, when it comes back online I'll withdraw all my btc. If they will..... ever :/

took me 5 hours to read all of the 83 pages here  Grin Cheesy Grin

What a story lol. If this all comes to a good end it is THE most bizar story on this forum  Tongue

And yes, I'm also one of the greedy guys and waiting for the btc to come out of my legacy balance. But, if they do within a month I will not withdraw them.
Will wait with the withdraw until december.

GL to all, I'll keep reading the posts

Well if it comes to a good end, there will probably be another 83 pages to read, because the amounts moving from the legacy funds have been tiny so far.

They just transferred a little over 0.5 btc to my normal balance out of my legacy funds.

yesterday is was something like normal:0.07x btc legacy: 1.36x btc and right now showing: normal: 0.5785btc legacy: 0.8425btc

BUT there is not a legacy transfer showing on the transaction page but, on the other hand, I don't really care Tongue

Was this out of the blue, or did you submit a support request... ?

Kinda out of the blue, I did send a support ticket but that's a while ago. I don't think its helpfull for any of us to send another ticket because I think they receive just to many a day. They can't even read them all I think , let alone solve and answer every one of them. Just takes to much time.

I'll patiently wait another week and check again. Still have some faith btc-arbs being legit.

yup, mhashes are displayed again.

People need to stop acting like my girlfriend Tongue

-have faith and be patient. the dev is persitent but he has a life to, respect that.
-why did alot of people stop mining when the stats were off? when we want to get this coin up we need miners.
-The coins I received at the beginning (2000) and the ones I bought are not going to be sold until we are above 10.000 sat and have a solid base there.
to all the weak hands, pls sell now and regret it in the future. When you dont see the potetial of this coin your blind but its your choice and your money so go on. But don't throw bad words about things you dont know :/

another thing:
The only way this coin is going to work and surpass BC is when everybody gets back on thee f***ing multipool and don't immediatly sell the coins when received -_-

one last tip : pump and dump kills coins, believe me I know.

I will keep on mining and won't sell anything. if the rest of the past 250mhash wil do the same thing we will kill all pump and dumpers and reach new highs every week.

We started at 400 sat, we are still at 1300+. so why complain?
GL to everyone and I hope the good people here still have faith and are with me  Grin Cool Grin

I want to send my coins to an exchange.

It says 'Out of sync'. Can I send it?

Underneath it says now; 'Minting suspended due to locked wallet.'
[/quote]

when you lock your wallet, minting is not possible anymore.
sending is still possible in my opinion. Just to be sure send a few the first time
