I have been seeing the cryptomarket since 2016. If you don't wanna invest in Defi tokens(more like ICO fud back in 2017),then safe bet would be to invest in 2017's hype Altcoins like $LINk,$OMG,$ICX,$STRAT, $ARK etc.
There are some new and long term coins you can look into like $SXP,$ALGO,$Waves etc.
If you don't wanna riska at all, I would say just invest in $BTC and $ ETH. Invest more in ETH percentage wise.

Every altcoins and BTC at some point has been manipulated by Whales. It's nothing new but yeah harsh truth that more often alts get manipulated.
