1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Rumours that russia will use nuclear but where ? on: May 31, 2024, 08:21:19 PM
Unlike other warmongering nations, Russia's constitution forbids it from attacking with nuclear weapons, it can only be used for defense. As the desperation of NATO members increases with their failure in Ukraine conflict, many experts predict they can attack Russia to deviate the population from the social disintegration they are going through. But I'm hopeful that every nation comes to senses and don't promote war just for their ego. The good thing about most NATO countries is they are democratic and most people there are still wise enough to see where their country is heading and are expected to stop the attack on Russia through votes.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What US and Nato leaders REALLY think of Ukraine on: May 31, 2024, 03:12:34 AM
US wanted to deplete the manpower and military resources of Russia at the expense of European cash and Ukranian lives but they were not ready for Russia ramping up the manpower as well as arms and ammunition capabilities at this pace.  US also wanted to make Europe more depended to itself. Both of which seem to be failing at the moment.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump convicted 34 counts. on: May 31, 2024, 12:01:03 AM
I think Trump's biggest mistake was not calling the prosecutors pedophiles, taking the focus off him onto his attackers.

We are in an age right now where biased Supreme Court justices are refusing to recuse themselves from relevant cases.   I will not be surprised if sleepy don avoids jail time somehow.    I would really love to see a mini uprising to finally settle all the tensions between the two parties.  Just like a schoolyard fight.

Any settling uprising won't be mini,  US seems to be in trouble now. There always were issues about the political selection of the judiciary and when the population is more divided than ever, the country could move to anarchy or a more authoritarian rule. The chances of a fair election are getting low.

A here it goes the bluff of the "peaceful nation that only wishes peace and trade", China has invaded the air and waters of Taiwan massively - not the usual incursions. Ships are surrounding Taiwan.

It's a different thing about attacking other nation or defending its own land. They are not attacking other independent nations like NATO does.[...

Put one example of an independent nation attacked by NATO or apologize for spreading propaganda.

US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and Italy were involved in invading Afghanistan, even if they don't call it a NATO invasion, they make up most of NATO and the resources used were NATO.
https://www.nato.int/nato_static_fl2014/assets/pdf/2021/5/pdf/2105-backgrounder-ana-e.pdf

US, Canada, UK, Australia, Poland, Denmark, Spain, Italy, and Netherlands were involved in invading of Iraq.

Those are the things accepted by NATO, they don't declare a war but are involved. There are several other where they are involved without acknowledging and several of NATO funds used in staging coup around the world.

The island of Taiwan is China where a separatist movement has been growing. It's a good idea to capture it by force than let it slip to enemy forces that plans to destroy the nation of China. China has every right to defend its land. I'm surprised why they still talk about peaceful means when it's already confirmed that the occupying force in Taiwan are openly welcoming the enemy to Chinese land.
Maybe they are not capable enough to wage a war or trying to save human life but sometimes it's more noble and righteous to destroy to create.

It's now a general realization that illegal immigration are bringing more problems than solutions. Even the hardcore fan of illegal immigration in Europe are taking the step backwards.
Texas is an example of how the federal immigration policies are getting unpopular with the people. And it would lead to people voting for the candidate that are more focused on stopping the entry of illegal migrant just like in the Europe.

It's US policy. Trump after being elected would do the same.

If the Israel and the US don't attack on these terrorist now, they'd pose a much more danger to the world and humankind in the future. There sure are collateral damages, but at this moment the US and Israel are doing more damages to the terrorist than ever. 1 to 18 ratio is a good advantage in a war.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gaza and international law!! on: January 27, 2024, 06:16:19 PM
In an unprecedented step, the Republic of South Africa had recently filed a lawsuit in the International Court (the judicial body affiliated with the United Nations) against Israel on charges of genocide against civilians in the Gaza Strip. South Africa had prepared a report of thousands of pages and defended its position before the judges of the court, who did not hesitate to issue a decision forcing Israel to take measures to avoid genocide and to submit a report on its military operations in the Strip within a month. Of course, the court did not dare to request a ceasefire or to condemn specific parties.
In the first repercussions of this decision, the United States, Canada, Italy, and Australia announced the cessation of their financial support to UNRWA (the Palestinian refugee relief and works organization).

I think that there is no longer any doubt about the crimes committed by Israel, which could amount to war crimes. The court's recent decision, although it was long overdue and although it may not have beneficial results at all levels, nevertheless settled the debate about taking the appropriate position on what is happening.

Alledgely the support was withdrawn for the UNRWA by those countries because it was discovered there were members who were part of HAMAS and we're informed about the attack against Israel back in October 7th. Still, I am not sure whether that is a valid reason to withdraw help to Palestinian civilians who had nothing to do with that alledged infiltration of Hamas.
To me, it is very unlikely the accusations of Genocide in the international scenario will do something to stop the aggressions, Israel had already made its position very clear about the existence of a Palestinian state in the middle east. There have even been politicsl clashes and disagreements between the government of Israel and the government of the United States concerning the two states solution, it would seem that Netanyahu does not want to give the Gaza strip back to the people of Palestine once he had managed to completely take over it and expel Hamas out of it.
I am going s step ahead, and predicting Israel will say they won't give Gaza back to the Palestine administration because that would incite and help for Hamas to go back and reestablish their operations in the strip, people will disagree, but Israel will get away with it because the impunity they seem to have in this matter.

The attacks may seem brutal but it would save more lives in the future as Israeli and Palestinian would live in peacefully under the leadership of Israel.
There was a time for 2 state solution but the motive of 2nd state was to kill Israeli citizen as many as possible. So that is not the option on the table for now.
When the gaza comes under IDF like the west bank, the violence on the region would drastically reduce. All of turkey, Saudi, Jordan and Egypt have a relatively stabler law and order and any issue from pockets of Lebanon and Syria could be easily fixed by bombing them. Assad already has a deal with Israel and if Lebanon can't control Hezbolla, they'll be next controlled by Israel.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War ukraine time is up now it's time to build up ukraine invrstors are ready on: January 16, 2024, 02:20:59 AM
Blackrock already wants to start building in Ukraine,
You mean strategically demolish it? On the periphery, it looks like they are investing and helping in the building of Ukraine, but we know that Black rock  would want 7% of everything when it's time. Right now, Zelensky has entered into an agreement with Black rock to set up a fund to help restore Ukraine to the way it was before Russia happened and we hope to see a better Ukraine by the time everything is done .
Meanwhile there's those who feel that by this brokerage of sorts it's inevitable that the West (America) will want to assume control over them since they literally depend on them, it's kind of made the job simple and if I'm not mistaken, was that not what Putin said he was fighting against?

Makes sense. It is widely popular among Ukranian youth that zelensky gets $1 for each Russian or Ukranian killed on the battlefield. If Zelensky takes a high interest loan now before he fled and let Russia takeover, it would be Russian responsibility to pay the loan. What we need to remember is organization like IMF, World Bank, EBRD, EIB has already provided huge loans with higher interest rates and they expect to get return on it.
11  Other / Politics & Society / A new front of conflict China-Taiwan on: January 13, 2024, 12:50:59 PM
It's a now or never time for China to invade the self ruling Island of Taiwan.
  • China's population is ageing and shrinking, it would never have a larger youth population than it have today.
  • China is already pretty much isolated from the world. The business are already more domestic market oriented. There are lesser effect of sanctions now.
  • US invested in a multiple fronts already and having an election within a year can't afford to go on a head on war in the south china sea.
  • A pipeline supply of oil and gas from Russia, even if not sufficient would make it able to fight a war. It would also enable them to directly supply Russia, Iran and it's proxies with artillery shells and missiles to engage US away. China has been hoarding and increasing the capacity for over a year now.

If China missed this opportunity, I guess they'll never be able to take taiwan by force ever.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The reason for the aggressiveness of the "Russian world" on: January 13, 2024, 10:32:33 AM
Russia must learn from its past and the past of others as well. Violence is not and cannot be the solution for anything. All the issues must be resolved by mutual consent and agreements. War has not had many outcomes for the governments, but for the people, it's most dangerous as they have to pay for the effects of the war and violence.

This war need to be resolved and I have seen that Saudi Arabia and China and planning to create and agreement with Ukraine and Russia do that the war can end amicably. This war since the very day it started, it had created some kind of confusion making the price of food and gas to be more expensive than usual.

If Ukraine president is ready to end the war with Russia without minding what NATO cares about, then we shall be seeing some kind of reduction in the level of victims and properties destroyed as a result of the war. If the dialogue would work and Ukraine is ready to put a deft ear to what NATO think about the war then everything will be resolved amicably.

The war will only end if Russia withdraws its army from the territory of Ukraine.

Which it wouldn't and Zelenksky has been saying he'll fight till the last Ukranian than negotiating with Russia while Ukranians are unwilling to fight further for the interest of western powers.

The irony is Russia didn't wanted (further) Ukranian territory in Minsk agreement but zelensky was determined that a Russian life taken is worth more than Ukranian. And now they are in a stage that they can't negotiate without losing their territory.

Zelensky still believes he'll get paid in full by his western overlord but Ukranian parliament is not in the same line as zelensky.
Zelensky is highly likely to be ousted by the parliament and it could be the only way ahead for Ukraines future.

So you think it would be in the best interest of Ukraine to give up on their desires to move towards Western countries, and bend over for Putin so that he can decide their future for them?

Perhaps that would have happened if the whole world fell for the rhetoric of Putin but still a large part of the world knows that Putin is the one responsible for all the death and destruction that has happened over the past 9 months and blaming Ukraine for defending themselves or claiming it's just a proxy war between Russia and US is just a round about way of defending the actions of Putin, who is, again, the one responsible for all the death and destruction.

I too believe Putin is the main culprit to blame here. But it's not all about Russia grabbing Ukrainian land. Both Macron and Scholz has recently talked about considering Russian interest.
There's no way Russia or Ukraine would win this war. Both of them including Europe would be the loser and the only who wins is the US. This was an avoidable war.
Soon the Europe would turn it's back on Ukraine and there would be a negotiation and ultimate peace. But this war would put Europe decades behind US and Asia.

Why not simply give Ukraine back to Russia so the pain stops... before winter sets in and it gets really bad?

Weird how Zelensky's message to Putin answers your question.

Quote
Do you still think that we are 'one nation?' Do you still think that you can scare us, break us, make us make concessions?
Read my lips:
Without gas or without you?
Without you.
Without light or without you?
Without you.
Without water or without you?
Without you.
Without food or without you?
Without you,
Cold, hunger, darkness and thirst are not as scary and deadly for us as your "friendship and brotherhood".
But history will put everything in its place. And we will be with gas, light, water and food ... and WITHOUT you!

That guy is gonna have his face on some money one day.

He's perfectly doing his job. But that is not necessarily in the benefit of Ukraine or Ukrainian people. He's weakening Russia at expense of the Ukrainian lives and the Europe is paying for it. He might have won if the whole world fell for the rhetoric of the US but still a large part of world knows it's a proxy war between the US and Russia.

It's all about schooling. Young people are easily influenced and when young people are not allowed to interact freely and brainwashed towards some ideas, they carry it to their life.
Even if we ourselves feel like I'm Independent of any propaganda,  we all are to some extent influenced by our media and our society. The one and only solution is sharing ideas and experience without bias.
