1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 20, 2018, 09:37:47 AM
I spent $40K on miners with them, and Im p*ssed off they are not hitting the numbers advertise
add in the fact I cant mine other pools I prefer, and I cant mine other altcoins with sha256d that I had asked about prior to the sale

You knew it was a gamble, and were prepared to spend $40k on an unknown company, so don't start bitching when it doesn't quite work out!
2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: April 09, 2018, 10:30:21 AM

The mining industry is still young enough and its hardware rare enough that regulators still don't fully understand them.

I don't believe anyone thinks that you are wrong. It's just that people don't care enough to not purchase. You hit the nail on the head with the mining industry being young and crypto in general very unregulated. I believe you have made your point (many times now), but you have to accept people are not imbeciles and have spent good money based on the limited/minimal information they have available to them. It was a gamble that has paid off for some people.

I do not think that many people would buy a car, no matter what promises are made or how cheap it is, from a manufacturer that has none of the accountability details you have repeatedly says. But Crypto is not the automotive industry.

I think you have made your point now, and let people draw their own conclusions

0.076BTC using escrow. Private auction my behind. Ask a price or go pound sand.

Also, I would not want any crappy bitmain coupons, that they sent out in thousands to everyone.  Cheesy

6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin miners are now losing money on: March 21, 2018, 09:19:46 AM
One could imagine that, because some miners will stop mining, the market will get flooded with BTC less quickly.

Not true. The same amount of bitcoin will be generated every 10 minutes (on average). If there are fewer miners, it just means that reward is spread between less miners.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much is your altcoin down since January? on: March 09, 2018, 01:16:52 PM
Let's help the new buyers choosing in what to buy. Here're mine two which are down like 90% in ROI:

1. ITC: $9.15 ATH in January and currently $0.92.

2. SelfKey: $0.08 ATH in January and currently $0.01.

Ouch!

Suffering as well, i think around 20% all in all. But this is in bitcoin value. Of course when bitcoin goes up, my losses will not be so much.

I bought XRP at its hightest peak of $3.20 ish, and now hovering just above $1. That one hurts!

My plan is to sell near the end of this year, so i don't mind too much that it is currently low.

10  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Futurebit Moonlander 2 - Brand New - £90 on: February 23, 2018, 10:46:21 AM
Hi

I bought this new and received a week or so back, but quite honestly - it is technically beyond me to make it work alongside my current set up!

I'm not looking to make any money on this as i don't believe that is what the good project that jfestanop and the rest of the team intended, so i would just like to make my money back.

Price of £90 includes delivery to the UK and EU. For a little bit more i can post worldwide if you want to pay extra.

Will accept payment in crypto and would prefer payment in LTC, but will also accept ETH and BTC. I would insist on you sending payment first, but i will happily send you a picture of my passport for security sake.

If you really insist on using escrow, then happy to use any of the forum members as long as you pay their escrow fee.

No offers, please respect the £90 price (which includes delivery).

We'll be finding out very soon.  Wink

I signed an NDA .. so I'm biased but I'm quite convinced of their legitimacy.

12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Cryptocurrency price website on: January 26, 2018, 04:30:15 PM
Smooth website.

I would ask though "what makes this different to other websites".

One functionality i would like to see would be to add my portfolio, at what prices i bought at, and the current price/profit/% change currently.

Spying the people and telling lies to manipulate the market.
I see the scam in here now. It is "Searing". He is not real and a criminal stealing the money of people.
Better block him and never pay attention on his words.

When are people thinking is the right price to sell XRP?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ⛏ StartMining ICO has already started!⛏ on: December 24, 2017, 08:48:17 PM
So you means it's over for investors ? This ICO is dead and nothing can be done to get back the funds ?

I can share the mail here if you want but I was not sure I had the right to post something that might be a scam and with potential fake links...

You are the one best placed to answer that my friend. You are an investor - do you feel it is over? Have you heard anything from them in the last month? What proof do they have that something is happening with the money you sent them?
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: I felt bad buying this morning at $14,000... on: December 24, 2017, 08:45:15 PM
I’m in it for the long term, so I didn’t cash out when it was high.

I don’t have the time to do short term trading, but I do wish I would have sold at $19k and then rebought at $11/12/13k. A lot of good profits for some people!

I just want to see what happens in 2018!!! I predict it is going to be a crazy year, and actually make or break for bitcoin. It will be a huge success, or people will start to move away from it
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ⛏ StartMining ICO has already started!⛏ on: December 20, 2017, 12:33:11 PM
Hello,

Is it a scam for sure ?

One month ago I got a mail from startmining (Andrey) which told me how to get a refund. In the mail there is few steps, some things to do on MyEtherWallet to get the refund but I don't see the team talking about it here so I didn't take it serious. Did someone else got this mail ? Is it a good idea to follow those steps and try to get refund ?

Well, here you answer your own question:

One month ago you were promised a refund - have you got it yet? It does not take that long to process refund.

If not = scam!
18  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: AVALON S721 SELLING on: December 15, 2017, 10:35:33 PM
Just so any newbies read this, please be clear that this post is a scam and any money sent will be completely and utterly lost forever.
19  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Batch 2 Pre-Order] FutureBit Moonlander 2 Official Pre-order Thread on: December 08, 2017, 11:54:14 AM
Same here - ordered from bitshopper.de

i'm glad their aren't a lot of people trying to buy these in bulk and resell them for a profit - i think the guys have put in a tremendous amount of work to get this launched and open up mining, for a low price, to the masses.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: I felt bad buying this morning at $14,000... on: December 08, 2017, 09:44:40 AM
I want to keep hold for the long term, so i'm not too interested in short term gains.

Can you believe i thought i was too late getting into Bitcoin earlier this year in the summer, when price was $4,000 per coin? If only i had bought more back then!
