I only asked, because I could not find an answer after searching this and other forums. I actually only joined this forum, because it was the only way to be able to ask.
While the answer was not here, and no assistance was offered, I was in the mean time able to figure it out.
Until such time as the S4s stop earning more than the electricity they are using, I will keep them running. Though this is likely to occur in the near future.

I think is related to the beaglebone at this point.
Does the S4 just run of the sd card or is there firmware loaded to the beaglebone?
If I get a replacement beaglebone, is there something I have to do to make it work specifically for this S4?

Happen to still have any parts?
I've could use a controller board and a beaglebone.
Not quite ready to retire these yet.

I have an S4 that stopped working.
It starts up like normal, but then has temp 0, hash 0.
The IP address that shows up on the screen, is not accessible.
I cannot ping it or connect to it in any way.
The router does not show that the device is even connected.
All the network lights indicate that it is connected.
I have tried multiple versions of the SD card images, and they all function the same way.
All cables and lights seem normal, other than the lights next to the LCD screen. The green light comes on and stays on till the status shows up, then it is dark.
The factory reset does absolutely nothing.
I have tried different routers and network cables.
Any suggestions?

I have tried connecting it to different routers, and used different cables (all of which tested perfect with a cable tester)
In all instances, it appears to have successfully obtained a dhcp ip address.
In all instances, no connection can be established.
