Better don't mine crap like CNC which will die short after given birth. Probably best is to stick with LTC for now. It at least has prospects in rising values.
Don't trust the short-term hype on sites like coinchoose. Sooner or later these coins will be dead and their value is gone. Better mine something solid like BTC or LTC. I would go for LTC since I think it has a higher chance of rising than BTC right now(imho).

Why exactly would you say YAC is dead? I don't think it will die until someone finds an efficient implementation for gpus. Until then it's different to the rest of the altcoins.
