Hitting with this error for the past 2 days, mining ETC on ethermine. Both gtx 1060 and 1070 no hang, i still can see them using after burner. Anyone hitting with this kind of errors?

Hello, is there any wallet that does not have to download the whole blockchain?
I downloaded a mobile wallet app (bytecoin) from "freewallet" Personally i transfer some BCN to this wallet, it took slightly longer, but it is legit. You can use official web wallet https://bytecoin.money/#/, but i noticed some BCN transaction might goes missing. Desktop wallet that required to download the entire blockchain still the most stable.

I managed to setup hiveos to run 2 miners: 1. claymore cryptonote 2. CCminer nvidia
But when i run shell in a box, type "miner" only able to allow me to access to first miner log, Anyone know how to access and reads the second miner log?

I am using Z97M-plus motherboard. So i downloaded the ethos 1.2.5.iso and then use HDDRawCopy1.10Portable to copy to pen drive and HDD. I can entered my motherboard bios, and set the pen drive to boot, but after that, I see only "_" underscore on top left on the screen, and no text appearing. keyboard numlock is working, i assume is not hardware problem. I didn't use any GPU, use only the mobo inboard gpu to boot.
Anyone encounter this problem before? Tried with HDD 1.0TB, not working, Tried with eth 1.2.4.iso not working as well.
put it on an ssd, pen drives are CRAP to have an OS on it even ethos, pen drives were never designed to be used as an OS drive, other thing id say is you be doing something wrong lol, but if anything slap it on an ssd. not a magnetic hard drive, a SSD but by the sounds of it either iso is corrupted or you are doing something wrong even though putting ethos on a drive is very easy to do, have you tried it with a gpu? I feel as if your not telling us everything I tried with SSD. same problem. I am using onboard GPU, I will try with a proper GPU see if can solve the issue or not.

Anyway, just trying to share with you guys. I installed Windows 10 pro 64 bit, nvidia 385.69 version. It runs for 40mins-2hours then the entire pc blue screen. I did overclock. But i downgrade to 385.41, everything works fine in 22 hours now. I am using gtx 1060 and 1070.
I am using claymore v9.8. but i guess the issue is with the latest driver instead.
Hopefully this can help anyone that faced the same issue.

Sorry, newbie here. Finally I managed to get my ASUS GTX 1070 8GB dual. The seller confirmed that they are not selling hynix memory, Although I didn't get a samsung memory, but still get a micron memory. overall the base hashrate was 26.5mh/s (CPU is 30watt-40watt) The total power used is around 150watt (include CPU watt) at first place. I manage to overclock it and make it +500 memory clock, with lowering down the total power limit to 70%. So far it looks pretty stable. The current hashrate is 30.2mh/s with 160 watt (include CPU watt) Do you guys think that I can do any better to reduce the power or increase the hashrate?

I second that - check your drivers first.
Make sure you're using the most recent version of the miner second - you may have to try some different ones. Are you using Claymore or?
I am using claymore 9.8, i tried claymore 10.0, doesn't make any different for me. Hi hamteivos, If you have time, please try XMOS. Light weight and optimal for Nvidia GPU. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2195527.0Thanks to ur contribution on mining, I definitely will have a look on it.

to my knowledge currently the most optimized card you can get for theory of mining is actually the 1060, though I don't have a direct source to quote on this subject, it's been said that with unofficial drivers and the correct software you can optimize the highest hashrate to lowest power usage ratio not to mention the price point on the 1060 is somewhat lower.
look into your options on the 1060 and see if you can find something that satisfies both of your needs, that's the best suggestion I can give you as an economic gamer who also mines.
I actually have a zotac 1060 but the memory is hynix, and i overclock from 15mh to 19mh. but it took around 90watt I was thinking that since the difficulty is going to keep increase, in long term i think I should buy gtx 1070 that generate around 25mh.

How come your AB settings are correct and it says you are drawing 34% power but you have 0mv on that card?
the 34% is temperature

Surprisingly my zotac GTX 1060 6.0GB AMP edition only runs 15mh/s. I manage to overclock till 18.8mh/s with: Power Limit 70% Clock -200 Memory +500 Fans 80pc Claymore 9.8 /10.0
When i overclock above mem +600 then the MSI after burner started to hang and the miner will crash. Any expert here got better idea how can I make it better?
so what are the actual clocks MSI afterburner showing when you mining ETH? first, for ETH memory is important, yes, but the core clock as well so try with these setting Power Limit 85% Clock +50 Memory +500 Fans 80pc what speed will you have ? not helping much. just few 0.X mh/s extra and still 18.9mh/s

Chances are you have Hynix memory which doesnt deal with OCing very well. Download GPU-z and see what memory manufacturer it is. For a bit of stability in rease the Power limit another 5%. Also use the fan curve in msi afterburner as it saves getting errors to do to with temps (well i was when i had fixed fan speed).
ya i think u r right.
