1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador bought more BTCs on: September 21, 2021, 06:30:50 PM
Honestly, picking up Bitcoin regardless of the price makes sense. After all there’s only 21 million of them. The price will continue to go up and he’s a smart man for picking up for (and diversifying)

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins/icos to buy and hold on: March 07, 2019, 12:48:03 AM
I would to keep your eyes on Ampleforth once they launch on mainnet. They have a unique protocol specificlaly for those who deccide to hold their coins.

Their elastic supply protocol preserves the unit of account function of money, so you wouldn't lose value over time.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest or wait ? on: March 07, 2019, 12:42:04 AM
It really depends how invested you are in learning about projects and actually believe in them. It's not a get rich scheme atm
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable Coins Necessary? on: March 07, 2019, 12:31:44 AM
I definitely think there are some that are necessary to stick around more so than others. The non-collateralized coin Ampleforth always seems to get lumped into the stablecoin category but in reality they are trying to be seen and regarded as an independent money. Something that obtains all goals of what money should be. I think that is what is truly necessary.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about cardano’s ada? on: March 07, 2019, 12:15:34 AM
How does the scalability compare to say Moac which is a dual-layer technology offering a POW mainchain and sidechains with the different types of consensus?
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: #Deletecoinbase - Agree or Disagree? on: March 06, 2019, 11:23:32 PM
I only used Coinbase once to buy some ethereum. Absolutely no problem after the KYC process to buy the ethereum , but an absolute nightmare to get the ethereum out ! Took almost 24 hrs to send from Coinbase to an offline wallet. So many emails sent and a nights sleep lost! Never again. Has also put me off using other exchanges . IMO - avoid .

Wow that sounds like a headache. I am sorry to hear that, good thing your story can help others make the right decsion though
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: March 06, 2019, 11:21:48 PM
Its already attracted me because of the possibility of mass adoption, maybe we are few people right now but near future blockchain technology will be used everyday life.

That's the spirit!!! We hear mass adoption stories almost everyday.. Samsung mobile, Brave browser, China Mobile, enterprises, etc.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Stablecoins are the new money, is this true? on: February 21, 2019, 08:02:59 PM
A new report by cryptocurrency and blockchain advisor, George Samman, titled ‘The State of Stablecoins 2019,’ details the history of money and makes an argument for why stablecoins represent the natural evolution of where money will head next.

Here is the link to the article: https://bravenewcoin.com/insights/new-report-says-stablecoins-may-become-the-new-money

Are any of you invested in the projects mentioned in the article? I am pretty interested in Maker and Ampleforth tbh

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung confirms the rumor! on: February 21, 2019, 07:29:40 PM
I would say it's the best feature a cell phone rolled out so far, better than a camera
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones? on: February 07, 2019, 10:18:37 PM
I don't necessarily think they are going to compete with establish ones but rather build off of the strongest projects that already exist. Whether it's an added layer for security, compatibility or even a token contract on top of an existing platform kind of like how ampleforth plans to interact and utilize more than one chain starting with Ethereum.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are ICOs really dead? on: February 07, 2019, 09:53:37 PM
be skeptical.. i think icos are on their way out soon
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Dapps will ever outnumber Apps? on: January 22, 2019, 06:36:54 PM
Curious how far people think the dapp revolution will go. There are certainly a lot of use cases, but I am often torn over how many things are really better off decentralized.

I think people will get more and more creative with dapps. Everyone from large enterprises to smaller companies. Moac mentions they have 500 dapps being built on their platform by June 2019 so i've been keeping an eye on that one. Time will tell.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your favorite websites? on: January 22, 2019, 06:29:11 PM
I'm always curious if there were some interesting websites out there that I would enjoy but don't know about yet, so share your knowledge about the less known yet cool websites out there.

I actually made a website too dedicated for that purpose: addekt.com

Feel free to check it out, browse the websites other people have submitted there and maybe even submit your own. cheers!

What kind of topics are you interested in? I have always found brainpickings interesting
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite stablecoin?? on: January 22, 2019, 06:25:49 PM
How not to say and bitcoin is the father of the cryptocurrency, I think it is the most stable

Bitcoin is not stable coin since its go with the series of pump and dump schemes which truly love by traders. But you could look the monero since for me that is the most stable coin so far and yet potential one to be hold with. And I would rather search for new potential ICO coins with working platform right now since those are the new thrend and maybe there's one of them would pump harder in future.

No coin is a stable coin in the crypto market because every coin depends on the price of Bitcoin, mostly people are majorly holding Bitcoin. Once the price of Bitcoin is kept reducing all other coin price start decreasing.

That's not necessarily true actually. Have you heard of Ampleforth's elastic supply policy?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am just Dumping all my altcoins! on: January 22, 2019, 06:23:31 PM
Well I have no more patience in holding it so I decided to dump all the altcoins listed in an exchange in a low price. I have been accepting already that I loss already in investing those altcoins. Because we are now in the peak season of the year 2018 and cryptocurrency market seem nothing to have gone good and I have also some needs to meet for the holidays so I sold all the altcoins. I will just check later on if cryptocurrency will going to be back at its normal market.

Which ones did you dump?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cyptocurrency never be great again as it was? on: January 22, 2019, 06:19:04 PM
The cryptocuurency's price on the market is still going down... i just wanna know what you guys are thinking of the future of the crypto, would it be great again? or would be at the bottom of the market? or would it be forgotten? tell me what you think and why

I definitely think it will. I just read an article listing all the celebrities who are investing into crypto. Sadly, in this day and age those are the people who can create a society shift into mass adoption.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in a card? on: November 17, 2018, 06:18:32 PM

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 100 crypto launches first dapp on: November 17, 2018, 06:10:51 PM
Is there a private blockchain now in crypto's except those blockchain that runs by a private company? At least this project is keep on developing to the point that they are giving their investors and holders the best experience that they can. Unlike those coins that are just more on sweet words but never did any single move with their development.

Anyone who downloaded that Moodada?

I haven't. How does it look? I'm waiting for the webinar later today to watch how they build it. And it looks like they're announcing an ambassador program too
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alibaba Uses Blockchain to Track the Goods. on: November 17, 2018, 06:09:03 PM
