1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: April 11, 2018, 09:33:47 AM
WAN - WanChain ERC20 tokens appear as negative in the portfolio.

As WAN tokens were credited to the ETH wallets without the transaction appearing in the token transfers and later everyone had to send the WAN's out. Now when i link a ETH wallet which had the ERC20 WAN before, it appears as a Negative amount, distorting the total portfolio value.

Could you find a way to fix this issue. I am sure, everyone who had ERC20 WAN's will have the same issue.

2  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Gemini.com offers free money wires for USD withdraws & deposits... sweet :P on: January 07, 2018, 06:44:32 AM
Hi,

Yes, I thought so too and checked. But my Bank received only $93, which means some bank used by Gemini made a charge which is not visible to me or my bank as my account got only 93, and then on top of that my bank put the charges. I was expecting to receive 100 and then its ok what my bank charges, as i can atleast see that as a separate transaction for the charges and can also talk to my bank to waive it etc.

Gemini doesn’t change anything for wire withdrawals. The fees are likely that of your bank.

3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Gemini.com offers free money wires for USD withdraws & deposits... sweet :P on: January 07, 2018, 06:33:53 AM
Gemini doesn't charge a fee, but to do a test, I withdrew USD $100

My Bank received only USD 93, and after receiving the amount it charged me a additional USD 7 as incoming wire fees.
So net I received only USD 84 on a USD 100 withdrawal.

So there were two fees
1. By Gemini's intermediary bank or the bank used to wire the money over via SWIFT  (Question: Does anyone know what's slabs for bank used by Gemini for intl wire)
2. By my Bank which is $7 fixed fee for any amount

Does anyone know what are the wire charges slabs, is it fixed fee or depends on the amount. The fee's of USD 7 charged by the Gemini bank's intermediary, is that going to be the same say If i want to transfer 5000 or higher amount etc.

Has anyone tried to withdraw over ten thousand to a USD bank account outside of the United states ?
4  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bounty0x - A decentralized bounty hunting network (animated explainer video) on: January 06, 2018, 07:07:39 PM
Bounty0x is a great project with huge potential in 2018, as there are 100s of ICOs and a huge lot of projects that require community participation.

And most of these projects offer Bounty, and without the right marketing the Bounty is given out without its effective results.

Bounty0x will allow these new ventures and existing ones to reach the community that's well connected and can help best respond to the requirements.

Also being a very low cap token, this is a great grab at the current price. Buy before it climbs further, and do your research before making any decisions.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is why KIN has HUGE potential!!! on: January 06, 2018, 06:48:52 PM
Agree on the topic of need for a token that offers private transfers without being too technical.

MEW and other tokens are too technical still for the avg population and also the concept of Gas prices and waiting for 1 hour for transactions to happen, is all too much for a avg basic user.

What they need is something they understand, e.g. KIN is approx. $1 = 1000 KIN, range, making it easy to think in a small Currency like store reward points, say at a StarBucks or JCP, etc.

The huge supply is only a number, as mature investors know it's abt total market cap, and doesn't matter if there's 21 million tokens or 21 Billion. As long as the supply is fixed, the mkt cap is what matters, per token price smaller the better for avg new user.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why buy KIN? on: January 06, 2018, 06:43:14 PM
Kin has lots of potential. I have liked this token from the start and waiting for them to integrate this with the chat app.

And rightly said, once it is integrated, the Kik app could be the most widely used Crypto wallet. And probably if they add support for other cryptos and from what I hear that they planning their own Blockchain, this could easily climb to top 10 Currencies by Market Cap.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][OFFICIAL THREAD] VYRAL.NETWORK - THE PROJECT OF VIRAL MARKETING on: December 11, 2017, 01:52:46 AM
What are the no. of nodes already sold. The website lists the amount invested so far, but doesn't show the no. of nodes sold ?

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][OFFICIAL THREAD] VYRAL.NETWORK - THE PROJECT OF VIRAL MARKETING on: December 09, 2017, 04:27:53 AM
What is the treatment that will be followed for the unsold Vyral nodes. will they be burnt ?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Request Network - A decentralized network for payment requests on: December 09, 2017, 03:47:49 AM
With crypto currencies being highly volatile, is there a feature where the transaction amount in crypto say BTC, is valid only if the the value of BTC doesnt breach any of the limits, for example, if i am a trader, I accept payment via Request, but I would like the amount request and the Txn to auto expire if the BTC moves +/- 15% from its Fiat rate at the time of the request.

Keeping same limits both ways, will also protect the buyer, who may not check the appreciation and can actually pay less BTC for the same product or service.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]✅✅✅ WHITELISTING NOW! Verify - The Future of Reputation ✅✅✅ on: December 09, 2017, 03:31:04 AM
What are the exchanges that Verify. as expects to be listed on, any approvals as yet apart from EtherDelta ?

The team has been great in their messaging and even though its a crowded space, its a big space where lots of payment partners will be needed so its a big pie which verify should move fast to capture a fair share of.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CanYa ICO another Australian Startup with Powerledger marketing. on: December 09, 2017, 03:21:59 AM
The services on the platform range from various activities like Website development, Logo design, copy writing, actually any service that can be advertised over the internet and either delivered online or also in the physical world. More service categories will be added as the app develops.

One of the apps that will enable some real world use of Crypto currencies, as at the moment they are just investments and can't be used as widely. Also once Amazon or Ali Pay accepts BTC or ETH it would be great in the product space too.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Quantstamp - The First Decentralized Smart Contract Security Platform on: October 16, 2017, 06:58:16 AM
Quantstamp from my point of view seems like a good project with a workable service.

From what we know they helped in the Request.network ICO, which was a very well run ICO and 100% sold out. Seeing the great potential, I guess its a going to be one of the top sought after ICOs.

Do your research and get to know more by checking their site out, look for Quantstamp project.

There is going to be a big demand for services for securing smart contracts.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Global marketplace Storiqa on: October 12, 2017, 10:38:02 AM
Its an interesting project in the e-Commerce and online shopping space.

It has also partnered with Kickico to launch their pre-ico. Given there has been very little marketing for their preico, its a good catch for those who are able to spot it and buy with 40% bonus.

The price is 1 ETH = 100,000 STQ. (+ additional applicable bonus, like 40% for pre-ico).

Check their website or the kickico site to know more details and evaluate if you would like to invest into this venture.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: FUNFAIR - sleeping giant on Binance 2017/09/28, 04:00 AM on: September 29, 2017, 02:34:21 AM
Online application of blockchain tokens is highly attractive for the gaming and casino industry. Though there would be regulatory challenges, there is sufficient potential for this alt coin.

It needs to be seen if this coin can work closely with some big names in the casino industry and have a possible offline integration with some real casinos making it highly legit and gain wider acceptance.

The other thing is such a coin needs to have a stable range bound value, else you would win or loose on the casino and also win or loose while you hold these coins, making it a double whammy positive or negative.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ㉫ ENJIN COIN [OCT 3] Smart Gaming Currency + Virtual Goods Platform on: September 28, 2017, 11:47:38 AM
Well treat your Ether as Money or investment in a Stock. And Ether is going to do well and has very high chances of doing great in the next 5 years.

In my opinion i would suggest even if you are looking to invest in ICOs, your objective is to outsmart the growth in Ethereum, only then it makes sense right. Sometimes you are better off doing nothing and sometimes its the other way.

I suggest you keep 500 Ether as is, and do not invest anywhere else and just hold them for the next few years, they may one day be sufficient for you to by yourself a new house.

The other 500 Ether you bucket into 20 blocks of 25 Ether each, and over time look at alternate investments and ICOs, with each ICO you put in max of 25 Ether, so even if you pick a not so good one, your risk is limited. Apart from ICOs you could also put the 25 ETH into already listed Alt coin which are trading below ICO price after doing your research.

As for Enjin ICO, its a good one within the gaming space. And with the defined rate hike thru the ICO entering in the 1st week would be a good idea.

All the best with your investments!

I recently graduated college and my father gave my brother and I 1000 Ethereum as a graduation gift. He told us to hold onto it for the next few years as an investment. My brother keeps telling me about ICO's, and he has recommended Enjin and Airtoken. I'm wondering if I should hold or invest in these upcoming ICOs. Any information will help.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Canadian Regulatory ‘Sandbox’ Seeks to Avoid Crypto Coin Quicksand on: September 28, 2017, 11:20:27 AM
Kin wasn't sold to any Canadians or Americans in the ICO, but they are probably free to purchase KINs from the secondary market, which probably is good news for investors, as most users of the Kik app are based in US and Canada, once the adoption or launch of the Kin coin on Kik platform is done, there should be an initial demand from buyers from these countries while all the owners are from other countries, creating a surplus demand.

But will have to wait and watch. So current investors will have to hold their KINs till the launch of the Kin coin on Kik, to see significant returns on their investments.

Until then the Kin will hover around or below its ICO price until its a usable currency on one of their platforms.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ㉫ ENJIN COIN [PRESALE ON] Smart Gaming Currency + Virtual Goods Platform on: September 15, 2017, 05:49:56 AM
Enjin Pre-sale has some really good price for early investors, as in the Main Sale, the price will constantly rise across the 4 weeks of the main sale.

If you haven't yet invested invest into it now. Nearly 85% of the tokens in Pre-sale are sold. And if you read this later, entering into Enjin in the 1st or 2nd week of the Main sale would also be a good idea, before its a bit too late into the main sale.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about KIN token, and Kik Messenger ICO on: September 15, 2017, 04:05:31 AM
So now there is still about 100k ETH worth of KIN still left, primarily because none of the outsiders can invest into it and its still open only for the white-list candidates.

The interesting thing would be to see what happens when it hits the exchanges, how would the sale of the unsold KINs impact the initial price. Still a few days to go till closure, but there is only so much the roughly 10,000 people who have already invested can invest more.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Change Bank ICO, your opinions? on: September 14, 2017, 02:25:40 AM
Hi,

Change Bank is among the top 5-10 Banking and payment related solution ICOs which are in the market. And as we know the space for financial services is huge and today there are over 100,000 Banks world wide and atleast 1000+ banks of huge size.

Going by that, the first 10-20 Crypto based banking services providers do have some advantage.

Yes the operations do take a lot of capital and its going to be a long roadway ahead for these banks. I would say, investing 5-10 ETH would not be too risky and worth the risk. Given Ether is currently down, its a good opportunity to enter into it before the end of the Pre-ICO.

Disclaimer: I am not involved or part of Change-Bank nor been paid or part of their Bounty program.

KIN Token Sale now enters Uncapped Mode. No more cap, but the sale still open only for the 17075 registered white-list only.

So now its upto those 17k people to gobble up the remaining tokens, lets see if it gets sold out only among the white-listed people....
