did it across several PC's who's never had a wallet installed in them, all fresh twice.
same issue.
Also someone please explain the set password everytime you import a seed already? why does it allow all passwords you input on an old wallet.
When you restore a wallet, it asks you to write a password. You can set the password (an old one or a new one) you want and it will be used when you start the wallet. The wallet asks you to set a password and you can choose what to write. Sorry if I'm not able to explain it but I'm not an English speaker.

No lambo for us it seems I'm still holding and I wish I get two lambos (one with Sumokoins and one with Ryo).

that cryptopia response seems to be fair. I have seen similar things happen to other coins, they did not take enough time and care about their major exchanges and got delisted because of too many and hasty changes in the algo.
This is a perspective that would require for SUMO to be more predictable with less hasty and rapid changes. Thinking along this line for a moment, what is the technical reason to move away from CN-heavy? I suppose nothing solid and logical.
More along this line, how about carefully preparing the rebranding and/or algo change to happen at the same time and make sure that you have all the relevant exchanges on board???
I think going back to CN will really impact credibility and trust. Two important soft factors, it is very easy to loose credibility/trust and extremely hard to regain!
I agree with you.

.... If experts think that using ASICs is the best option, that's good for me. As a hobbyist miner I don't have a clue about what is better, GPUs or ASICs. Haha, maybe you need experts to tie your shoes too Thanks for the offering but I'm perfectly able to lie my shoes by myself. What I wanted to say is that I don't know nothing about cryptocurrencies economy and the thechnical things so I'm not able to choose between ASICs and GPUs for avoiding attacks and for the market.

If they change to ASIC and bitmain can use their recently launched cryptonight ASIC to secure the network, i guess its not a bad idea at all. PS: I dont hold any SUMO.
It's a very smart decision and signs of vision for future and good management decisions. Of course you'll upset all the hobbyist GPU miners but they have plenty of other coins to work at. We'll tell in a couple of years if ASICs were a bad thing for crypto networks ... I like using the coin for transactiins so I want all the best for it. If experts think that using ASICs is the best option, that's good for me. As a hobbyist miner I don't have a clue about what is better, GPUs or ASICs.

really? back to cryptonight and ASICs? Have you not followed what happened to Electroneum? They had the attack and then were forced to fork the ASICs off (is just happening).
I can understand that you would like to move away from CN-heavy, it uses too much resources on the mining side, why not move to IPBC/BITTUBE or other variant on CN-lite? Or if you like the 2MB scratchpad, why not CN7?
or even better something new, original, they can call their own ? +1

Another proof that premine is just shit and causing nothing than trouble.
shit will happen, it happens every moment.. whether you want it or not.. important is how you handle the shit! Gentlemen, full support here as it was for the past year! heads up, RYO is the way to go!!now fast to cryptopia to grab nice bargain.. +1 Full support to devs. I love the privacy of the coin. Thank you very much to the sellers

At the first post it is said that "Majority of premined coins (98%) are locked in the following wallets:". Is the 2% that is not locked the "hidden premine"? My English level is a bit low and I don't understand what the pdf means. Edit: Anyway, time to buy and hold some more coins.

I sincerely hope they will get an actual logo and not just that dreadful scan of an old coin. I like the name, but apart from that, I don't see any rebrand at all. No real logo, no color scheme… The new logo was posted one or two pages before. I've seen it there, I think. Regards.

Very interesting, thanks

Someone care to explain? there was just randomly added 1.5 million coins, this a scam now? i just paid into this coin recently and im mining it and now this? whats next? devs sell everything and abandon? and i lose everything? I think it's an error of Coinmarketcap. Or maybe somebody has sold some coins in the market.

Really nice rebranding and logo ! More professionnal and modern. I was wondering if any changes would be made since Sumokoin felt uncomplete and childish.
Good job !
with the rebranding, the supply will stay the same? or there will be more changes? no swap whatsoever? the price right now is not bad considering that thousands of altcoins are out there. what other news we can expect after this rebranding? or just new name and logo? I'm not sure but I think it will be just the name and logo.

I will miss my beloved Sumokoin but Ryo sounds cool to me.

Tell me please, after the fork I just need to update my wallet? (copying files with a replacement in an old folder) Or i need any additional actions?
I prefer erase everything and reinstall the updated wallet. But keep the word seed in order to restore everything.

Hey guys, there a a few exchanges where users (not only team-members) can request a coin for listing. For example: https://m.poloniex.com/coinRequest
https://gate.io/listingWe would appreciate it really much if you could share a few minutes of your valuable time to apply Sumo for listing there. Thank you a lot! Done
