1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitconnect likely to be a ponzi on: September 11, 2017, 08:31:09 PM
Hello Smiley

I am new to the Crypto-scene which attracts me for both the technical aspect and the earnings opportunities.

This bitconnect is being promoted everywhere and for a moment I got excited about it (I thought it was some kind of implementation of smart contracts) but I got a feeling that this is too good to be true and this thread fuels my suspicions.

If cryptos get associated with ponzis, all cryptos will get a bad name which would be a pity. Right now states like Estonia and Malta are getting interested in the blockchain technology which is really promising and could boost the value and stability of the cryptos.

As regards to bitconnect, if the lending is legit and that profitable, there is no need to have Bitconnect Tokens, the system could work with Bitcoins or Ethers.
