1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: EVGA 1300 to Antminer S7 on: September 12, 2017, 05:21:25 AM
EVGA 1300 G2 comes STOCK with 8 PCI-E connectors - 2"dual" cables and 4 "single" cables.

I don't remember offhand if the S7 needed 7 or needed 10 though.

Worst case, talk to EVGA about getting a couple extra of the "2 connectors on one cable" cables.

Correct - 2 dual and 4 singles.

S7 needs 10.

When I order more "duals" how do I arrange them?  The EVGA 1300 G2 only has 6 VGA's.

Paulb787:
Did you use only the cables that came with the EVGA 1300 or did you have to buy splitters to power the S7?

Were you able to hook up your EVGA 1300 to the Antminer S7 with the cables that came with the EVGA 1300 or did you have to purchase splitters?  I cannot determine how to hook up my 1300 with only the cables that came with the PSU.

It is an S7, not S9.  Any advice?

Can anyone please tell me exactly how to hook up the EVGA 1300 to the Antminer S7?  Can it be done with only the cables that come with the EVGA 1300 or do I need to purchase splitters?  Only 6 VGA's on the EVGA 1300.  Thanks in advance.  This is my first set-up.
