1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ? on: August 01, 2018, 01:21:27 AM
Is it trading or possession that is illegal? You can get around restrictions if you  have the money, you coulld set up an offshore company with nominee director etx with shares held n a trust in a tax friendly location and by using a VPN set to show you in a different country, with a few more tweaks you can continue to trade under the radar.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Nowadays, even ordinary laptops can mine bitcoins. on: August 01, 2018, 12:25:13 AM
While it can be done it isn't a great idea as they don't have the capacity as running a laptop flat out for long periods will cause it to overheat and lead to premature failure. Running it as part of a pool may reduce the load but I doubt by much.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you do when someone say bitcoin is illegal thing? on: August 01, 2018, 12:07:42 AM
Explain to them that Bitcoin is not illegal and is just a different way of doing trade using new technology, just as Visa/Mastercard changed banking and the way we spend when they were launched.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal? on: July 31, 2018, 11:30:58 PM
Each country will adopt it's own position and legislation with regard to Bitcoin and crypto in general, this will depend on whether it is a democracy or not. All will want to protect their own interests and that of their citizens.

Southeast Asia has embraced crypto far more enthusiastically than most regions and will probably continue to do so.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No women in Bitcoin you say? on: July 31, 2018, 11:13:49 PM
There are many women investing, using, developing bitcoin and other crypto's. The reason there are not more women at conferences etc is that in general they are too busy actually getting on with things rather than sitting about talking about it.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: January 23, 2018, 06:06:21 PM
Bitcoin may well change currency transactions just as the debit and credit card did.
