Can i somehow paste address when send dero? I try CTRL+V and rightbuttonclick, but it doesnt work.

I complained about the same thing a few weeks back and there is a way to paste from the clipboard into the wallet client, it's just very cumbersome and does not conform to the Windows standard. You have to left click on the tiny program icon in the upper left corner of the command window to open a drop-down menu, then select Edit, then select Paste.

Obviously, you need to copy the relevant data into the clipboard first (address, password, whatever).

In other news, I just checked the official pool and see the hashrate is above 700MH/s and that a Baikal Giant N now only makes 0.5 DERO per day. Lol.

I’m wondering what those guys will do after they get rekt by Atlantis lmao

Part of this is about whales buying huge amounts for sure. The other part is that ASICS' been dumping for quite a long time so they've got some BTC on their hands and they're also trying to pump the price a bit before the algo change goes through to get the best price. Just look at what happened to MSR and all other CN coins after the fork. Sure Dero is the most outstanding coin I've seen so far but our community is relatively small.  Plus there are many greedy GPU miners out there and Dero's gonna be a gold mine for them at least for a day or two. Of course all this does NOT mean that the price will significantly drop cause at the same time Atlantis will bring more light to Dero, we'll see soon and I'm so damn excited!  Grin Grin Grin

Hi guys! I’m new to XHV. I can see there’s a mention of smart contract layer being built but there’s no mention of the estimated time on the road map. So is there any estimate so far at all? Cheers!

To be fairly honest with you all, I'm all for the idea of mooning and love to see the price at $2.85 but something's kind of fishy now isn't it? 170 MH/s? No regular miners can keep up with that. Anyway, I'll sit back and watch the show.  Roll Eyes Cheesy

DERO wallets are back online on stocks.exchange https://stocks.exchange/trade/DERO/BTC .
Wallet are re-designed and written to handle millions of transactions and to work on low resources.
Users can deposit/withdraw any amount and no restrictions on withdraw limit.
Integrated payment address are used by stocks exchange for deposits, so no problem of missing payment_ID etc.
Thanks stocks exchange for integrating new DERO rpc commands in short time.
Numerous optimizations have been carried out in both DERO daemon and wallet. Each and every minute detail/problem is looked carefully and being solved in right manner.

"No restrictions on withdraw limit" - HELLYEA. Finally I can move my bag to my wallet. Keeping it on Stocks.exchange makes me nervous.  Cheesy

Stocks.exchange deposits/withdrawals seems to be back online. Are we now safe to withdraw larger amounts?

Hey! If somebody want to start mine ITNS. We run a new website for that. We have about 3MH/s hash power to sell for ITNS mining. You can try it. For free is about 15GH/s for 24 hours and after that you must buy it. http://itns.czechian.net/

Most obvious SCAM ever.  Cheesy Someone please delete this cancer from the thread.

Regarding the ASIC problem... After watching another cryptonight coin's nethash skyrocket from 5-7 MH to 35-40 MH I think CaptDero might have been right saying the current 10-12 MH is natural growth. We'll never know for sure but damn, bitmain could mine the shit out of any cc coin that haven't got a low lag diff algo.

I want to buy more ITNS today on Stocks.Exchange... but it says my ITNS wallet is "Disabled" -- is it down for everyone ?

It doesn't matter if you want to buy, it only matters if you want to sell cause currently yo cannot deposit ITNS. So just deposit your BTC as normally, put down the buy order, wait for SE to fix their wallet, and you'll be able to withdraw your ITNS. Smiley

looks like stocks.exchange is down again, have any of you used TradeOgre? safe to use?

Read back a few pages and you'll quickly decide to stay away from it. But SlowGrowth posted a new exchange on the previous page.

I see the topic I wanted to ask about has come up earlier today. I've seen multiple comments on Dero being ASIC resistant. Does that mean that we're gonna have a variant of the original cryptonight hasing algo like XMR and SUMO?

Dero has some exciting plans, I promise we're not waiting without a good reason  Smiley

We also have multiple algos that are very promising and our devs even built an anti-asic algorithm generator that can create hundreds of new algos/second

Oh okay then, I'll just wait and see. Thanks Serena, spot on as always!  Smiley

"if this coin can survive so long time"

How can a coin which has a full team of skilled people working on it die?

Easily, development will last much more longer then expected, investors decide to leave and it's over.

price and volume can get lower, but the product is coming, so there is no way it can die!
Besides, Verge was just hacked and it was a mess. That coin has huge volume and market cap, but it went into real trouble, how can you explain this? Easy: you can pump a coin with no project and no skills behind it, and you can have a great projects with low volume.

I cannot comment Verge, I do not follow this currency. I'm mining/hodling ITNS from 10/2017 until now.

There is almost no relation with the technical value of the coin in most cases. Not now in history, at least.

I'm mining/hodling ITNS since 09/2017. WHY ON EARTH would I (or anyone really) leave just before things finally about to happen?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy This is beyond me... What I've done personally in the last 2-3 weeks I was buying 4 times the amount I've been originally hodling - under 60 sats. Yes, that investment is at a tiny bit of loss right now, big deal, I didn't get the best price possible, but I didn't want to miss out lol. Do you guys actually read the updates posted on the site? It's not simply a project anymore, they're becoming a legal entity. And like that, an estabilished brand and company. Also VPN is on the way. So I you leave I wish you the best but the jokes on you.

I saw this warning in the Electroneum thread about Cryptopia having major issues with their wallet after the .dat file grew to 4.6GB:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2353282.msg33804903#msg33804903

Probably not an issue for the typical user, but could be a problem with exchanges.

"We dug through the code and found there was a hardcoded limit on the wallet file size of 1 GB, inherited from Monero."

I'm not an expert by any means so I might missed something and my thought is nonsense but this must have to do something with the fact that ETN has a huge supply so tx sizes should be also considerably bigger, right? We don't hear about such problems with Monero and Dero's total supply is the same. So I guess this must be another fail of ETN devs' quick copy&paste job lol. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey guys, I've just read the Apr 1 Update, massive progress on the legal side of the business which is pretty important in such uncertainity we're witnessing in the crypto space atm. Funny how things are going very well for this project right now and yet the price goes deeper and deeper.  Shocked Well, I'm always happy to buy some more at Nov 2017 prices.  Cheesy
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO FIRST SSL BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: April 03, 2018, 10:09:18 PM
I'm confused.

Is Dero open source or isn't it?  If it is, where is the source code?  If Dero has now transitioned into closed-source code, it no longer merits being considered a cryptocurrency.

https://coincenter.org/entry/what-is-open-source-and-why-is-it-important-for-cryptocurrency-and-open-blockchain-projects

The developers say that the older C++ code is no longer supported.  With the source code as yet unreleased, AT THIS POINT DERO BECOMES A CLOSED SOURCE CRYPTOCURRENCY.  Which is to say, no longer really a cryptocurrency or cryptoasset at all.

Can the developers please clarify on this important issue?

If the source code is available for public view, this would still provide trust through public audit. Not allowing developers to push their own updates at will and not using a free software license would stop forks, though. Forks are a serious issue in the cryptocurrency space today and I hope the dero team has considered that when they set out to make a coin that addresses so many other issues that are killing crypto.

To your point of it not being a real crypto asset because of those things... I think people should take a closer look at the top 50 coins/tokens, if that is true.

Finally someone said it. Matter of fact I'm damn sure that we can expect Dero clones at some point. However, it's been proven many times that a polite question is enough here if someone needs something and Serena or CaptDero will sort it in a min. No need for rants ladies and gents.

same problem with stock.exchange.
three time i sent dero to exchange and 3 time i have write to the support for deposit issue.
probably they resolve the problem in one day.

but guys, the alpha on mac is working fine, very fast and easy to use. sync from 0 block in 25 min. great job!

I have started to investigate this issue with Stocks.Exchange and I will let you know when I have an update

I'm very happy you like the new version on mac Smiley

They are still using the Helium Hydra based version, aren't they? I mean that's why bigger withdrawal are not working, am I right?

$2.8 in week?  Roll Eyes

Total supply is 18 million. Think a bit more ahead.  Wink
On that note, I'd join if I had a Twitter account, but I'll just wish good luck to everyone cause I very much like the Dero community.
Build and they'll come!

SouthXchange....
I thought it will be better
I was expecting more.....

 Dero ... I'm disappointed... Sad

It's a nice exchange, I never had any problems with them. What you where expecting? The project is new (4 months old), so the volume will be low for a while, and the development is in early stage. There's still a long way behind to go.

You're telling me that we might have to wait longer than 4 months from inception to see any real price movement!?!?!  Smiley

Depending on your desired price you might have to wait much longer but I haven't seen many cryptonight coins reaching this price in 4 months (as a matter of fact this is the second one) plus Dero has a relatively high price already for a 4 months old coin.  Wink However, if you mean that you're disappointed by the emptiness of the order books on SouthXchange, don't be. It's matter of weeks. Glad to see we've got DERO/USD pair as well.
