I haven't followed DIME for a while, but based on the information above it seems the coin revival is actually taking place  Smiley
Yeh, the new wallets are coming, roadmap, coinomi, etc.

   PEME,

MAY I ASK, HAS THERE BEEN A HARDFORK OF DIME? (after it was abandoned probably ..?)

WHO IS KEEPING THE CODE OF THE COIN?

ITS IMPORTANT FOR BUYERS, INVESTORS TO KNOW.

Thanks!

The code is here https://github.com/dimecoinproject/dimecoin

Thanks !

and so there was no hardfork?

The new windows wallet code is from this github code source, which is the best one, because transaction limit increased and IRC removed, which caused virus scanner false positives. For compilation I did also use newest openssl version:

https://github.com/coins7ex/dimecoin

....I will also upload my code version to github this week and publish it here.

Peme, so would you see it as fork in any way?

https://github.com/dimecoinproject/dimecoin/issues/2

one can see the changes here ☝️

Thanks

No fork. Nothing has changed regarding specifications (same algorythm, amount of Dimecoins, ....). You can use older wallet versions too and they will work on the same blockchain. But it is not recommended. Within some old wallet versions you do have a transaction limit of 21.000.000 DIME, unsecure openssl maybe (heartbleed bug), and IRC that causes false positives with virus scanners.

Thanks for your comment Peme !

Shall we go through the crowdfunding for Coinomi, folks ? I am sure it will be filled quite fast. Or do you suggest to do it with the arrival of a new website design (with roadmap and all) ?

Please share your suggestions. Thanks!

Peme what do you think about what Nordtyt has posted above?

Do we have a chat group somewhere other than this? Slack? Telegram?

Oscar maybe you can setup a Slack...

We already have a discord chat. Why don't we use that?

The discord chart is better.. where is the link?

My brother and his friends are now campaigning in Los Angeles. Promote Dimecoin, so the price will rise very quickly. The cheapest you can buy it on

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=DIME_LTC

This is huge Group for Dimecoin Investors

Hi ! Nice to know! Could you explain how exactly are they promoting it ? Maybe some of us here could just do the same ..
