1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: April 16, 2018, 04:05:44 PM
Ravencoin (X16R) has been added to whattomine.com - which should be helpful in attracting new miners.

Just noticed it, RVN was already added to the coins tab, pay isnt great with current prices, i dont think it will draw much hashing power to it.

If you have not actually done real world mining of raven and are only going off of some calculator on a website to determine that you wouls get only 80, then you are missing out. I get 80 with a 1 1080, 1 1060 and 1 1050. You should be doing well over 80, at least double that.

at what power consumption and what miner?

I get 112 odd a day with 3 x 1060,1 x 1070,1 x 1070 Ti.  All at around 65-70% PL.

i personally use suprminer, but between enemy, suprminer and nevermore i don't see extreme differences.

CCminer is REALLY shit, at least 20% less hash if not more now with these 3 miners updating almost daily. i get 40-48 MH/s on 12 1050TI's at 560(average) (520-600 fluctuating) watts at the wall for full system load.

my 1050TI rigs right now would compare to Eth:

173 MH/s at 700Watts, equal to about Euro 4,40 a day revenue on Ethereum
~44 MH/s at 520Watts equal to about Euro 5 a day revenue on ravencoin.

I think it has dropped a lot, i started about a week with around 900+ coins a day, now seems to have dropped below 700rvn.

Setup is:
Win 10 x64 / Enemy miner, tried Suprnova/nevermore, Enemy seems the "best".
6x 1080TI Strix
7x 1060 3GB Asus Dual
5x 1070 Strix/G1
2x 1060 6GB PNY
1x 1080 G1
1x 1070TI Zotc AMP Extreme

Running mostly low TDP's, as i dont see much effect on leaving it higher, the same with OC.

According to ravencalc i should be around 207mhs if i put the number of gpus, since hashrate isnt a fixed number, seems like coins production vary during the day, but i have been in the 700's range according to Suprnova.cc earnings page, today seems is working good again, im seeing 50+ rvn x hour, before i used to see a little over 40 at the most, 25-30's recently

Ravencoin Miner: an optimized open source miner created specifically for Ravencoin.

v2.2
Kraww!
Added estimate for RVN earned per day (displays every 5th share)
Cleaned up Display:
-Removed hash order display (Optional)
-Removed first algorithm display (Optional)
-Removed Core clock, GPU temp, and GPU fan speed display, now only displays Efficiency and Power
-(Afterburner and other programs display this better anyways)
-Note: Only removed display, the code to monitor these values is unaffected and any options related to them should be available.

Kraww!

Interested, any comparison against other miners? I have been mining with Enemy/Suprnova, so far seems good, seems to be the most used Miner at the moment, at least on Ravenminer pool.

Sorry I do not have any direct comparisons with Enemy miner as I do not personally run enemy miner.
Feel free to post some though if you can!

Just started with your latest windows version, in a few hours will see how the coins move, im still on suprnova pool, it might not be a 100% fair comparison as difficulty and hashrates varies almost by the minute.

Any particular settings/OC you recommend? i have a few different rigs, have basically every Nvidia card from 1060 3GB up to 1080TI.

Thanks.

Whattomine Now Has Ravencoin added.  Ravencoin will soon be top coin.  http://whattomine.com/coins/234-rvn-x16r
That should kill the profits everyone will be switching their miners to RVN

Still not on main screen, also no exchange listed, might end up shooting the diff up, but so far doesnt show anything special to draw attention, yet.

Friend of mine told me he has been mining this coin and that it looks legit...Thing is, its only listed (so far) on Novaexchange, which has disabled the registration system for at least a week now, i feel very uncertain mining this coin, if i will get to have them in the wallet, with no place to trade them, is it just me who feels like this? Coin has been listed on coinmarketcap, but still only one exchange that is basically locked for new users.
