1  Economy / Economics / Re: The Richest 1% Now Own More Than 50% of the World’s Wealth on: November 23, 2017, 04:05:06 PM
Well if they shared a couple of bitcoins with the whole world i think people would start liking those richest 1% because i do not like the fact that they have so much money but are not doing anything for the poor people or even give them a chance.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 23, 2017, 03:57:21 PM
People that used Bitcoin to buy drugs most feel terrible thinking about all that cash they could of had.

So what you are saying? Back then no one thought that the Bitcoin prices would increase by 1,000x. That's how one of the users (Laszlo Hanyecz) purchased a pizza spending BTC10,000 ($80 million in today's exchange rate). You can still find the pizza thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.0

Laszlo is still active, although he doesn't post much these days.

Good that i saw this post, because my first impression was that this thread is about drugs like marijuana etc  Grin

Laszlo is a legend! I'm not sure if it was his billboard, because he payd 10k BTC and on this billboard is 5k BTC.
People on this forum confirm that was real and was somewhere in Los Angeles:

Chemical compounds are very dangerous, so I always advise against buying any medicines/drugs over the internet unless they are natural.

But if you're talking about paying for drugs in "on ground" pharmacies, that's a great idea! Bitcoin adaptation in every industry is another step forward and development.

Is that billboard real and was it set up by the actual buyer of the pizza?

Its a Giga-watt billboard.  They runs hydro powered mining operation in Washington.  They held an ICO earlier this.  Laszlo Hanyecz should copyright his story.
I agree with you but i personally knew that people would buy and sell drugs through bitcoins because it is anonymous and no one knows when what happened i could pay a couple of bitcoins for a good stash of marijuana and no one would notice.
That is true but you can even do more illegal activities with bitcoin that is already known but can the government ban btc because of the btc that people use it for illegal activities? i do not think so it will live on and be in the future.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: November 23, 2017, 03:50:59 PM
Yes  i believe it is just educated guessing because you never know what can happen to the altcoin if you sell your bitcoins for it maybe it could be all of a big scam and maybe even it can rise to the top and give you even more profit than you would have with bitcoin.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 23, 2017, 03:35:29 PM
I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.

1) More security (especially if you are careful).

2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.

3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.

4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.

The question here is does cash grow? Can we invest on cash? It is true that what we use now and what we get for working all day is cash, still it is nothing like bitcoin that grows. Wouldn't anyone prefer a payment or salary such as bitcoin that grows from time to time? It is far more advantageous than regular cash or money, so anyone would like prefer it.
I agree to that. Bitcoin is a huge help for the people who want to use it for payment or doing transaction and also for investment purposes because the price of bitcoin is keep on rising and that is why it is good to keep some bitcoin for long term purposes and either use it as an investment or use it as a way to make transactions like payments.
For me, though there are many altcoins better than Bitcoin, (yeah these altcoins are really better than Bitcoin about the platform, system, supply coin and the growth) but I am still holding a lot of Bitcoin for long term. ~50% my capital are holding in Bitcoin. In my opinion, Bitcoin as Gold or Dollar in the asset or forex market. So, the primary asset will not have low value.
I agree with you in my opinion i see in the crypto world a lot of gold and diamonds but the only problem is that the diamonds are only bitocin and gold is everything else so i would rather take the diamonds if i know it is worth more and better.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: November 23, 2017, 03:19:54 PM
Yes you invest real life money into bitcoin online money and than after a while the prices goes up and you cash it back out you have more than you had invested in it that is how investments go it is very easy to understand this whole situation.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017? on: November 14, 2017, 10:35:39 AM
Just take parts in airdrops and in signature campaigns also it is very difficult to just earn  lot of bitcoins in a little time you need to have patience you can also trade that is a lot faster but that is not the best way to make bitcoins it is the best way to make money.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 06, 2017, 10:42:07 AM
Yes i am surprised because when i started with it was at a price of 3k and it is now at 7.5k i think it will eassy go to 10k this year 2017 made bitcoin big it started with 950 and it will end at 10k that is my prediction.
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my bitcoins ? on: October 24, 2017, 01:23:39 PM
Sell them or trade them to know and learn more about other altcoins i would sell some and i think i would save some for later because i am not a trading person i do not understand how that goes and i do not trust other altcoins.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: October 23, 2017, 08:16:56 AM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.

I believe that most people of the world will use it because of its better to transact than fiat. Like we can directly use worldwide trading. But I am not sure if what the market will be in the future.

We never know about that but i'm pretty sure more people will use bitcoin and bitcoin become more popular in 2022. If we talk about everyone use bitcoin in 2022, it's possible but i'm not sure about that. There are still many people in this world that don't know about bitcoins.
Just see the price of Bitcoin at now, you can know we have not much Bitcoin user. The world have 7 trillion population, but total supply coin of Bitcoin is just 21 million coins, but this is the max supply and we still need a long time to mining all that amount.
I agree with you but there are still options that most of the people in the world will use bitcoin because the max supply is 21 million coins but not everyone has 1 coin and the people who are using bitcoin now are very few.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: October 10, 2017, 03:27:01 PM
Yes i still support ETH simply because more people are beginning to use it, and for instances blockchain wallet have added ETH. So you can buy ETH with Btc safely.

I have also made a ETH wallet in the future i don't have money right now.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite coin so far on: October 03, 2017, 09:33:59 AM
ARK, Ethereum and Neo

I simply love the tech behind ARK and Ethereum, NEO gave me nice profits  Smiley

Lol i love dogecoin. For me dogecoin is the coin for memes. It has also a good logo the doge. Dogecoin has a lot of supply so you can have a lot of coins from dogecoin.

Litecoin is also a good one they call it the silvercoin. They call bitcoin gold so that means litecoin is a silver one.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: October 03, 2017, 09:26:25 AM
Truly, bitcoin will be use by practically or should I say by nearly everyone of the general population around the globe. Like in the year 2022 for an example . As a result of its developing community, it will impact the little earners of money to acknowledge bitcoin as well. New adopters of bitcoin are joining everyday and they will make more money that way.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest In Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2017, 08:25:33 AM
Investing in bitcoin is great idea. I have just invested in bitcoin, litecoin and dogecoin. Im now waiting for these coins to rise up. I would then convert litecoin and dogecoin to Bitcoin so i would have more bitcoins. You can pay with bitcoins not with dogecoin and litecoins. Thats why i will that. Don't forget investing in altcoins, you can focus on bitcoin, but don't forget them also. You can make a lot of money out of it.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2017, 08:17:45 AM
Then people would abuse the system by starting to farm and botting even more than now, the game would become a market to farm and sell Pokemons.

haha yes. I think also that many people will use bots, because they want to earn more bitcoins. The game would be destroyed you would only see farmers and spoofers who are catching rare pokemons for btc. This is game is made for mostly kids. They are happy when they are playing it. So i hope that it will never become like that.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: September 14, 2017, 08:05:55 AM
No because it would be same as money if it had a same price no one would make profit out of it and that is when no one would buy or sell it but it is not a stable price that is why it so popular you

never know what the price would be tomorrow.
