New Superman (2025) is quite.... supershit.  Shocked

Didn't have high expectations, although I was looking forward to watching this for several years,
exactly ever since this movie was announced during the very dark BTC days in Dec 2022 / Jan 2023.

Superman The Movie has a special place for me and I'm always interested in seeing what people
do with a reboot, not that I think it should be better or anything, just give me an entertaining 2 1/2 hour epic.

Here, Superman is battered around for nearly 2 hours solid and
if a superhero is rescuing someone, chances are high it's usually not Superman.
He is disrespected, people don't like him and seen as an annoyance in his own movie.
Everyone in this world thinks superheroes walking & flying around and doing stuff is normal.
If that is the case, then what is the point?
Lex Luthor has endless attack ideas available, some beyond the laws of physics to create havoc or hurt Superman.
It probably should have been called Super-Lex.
We learn Superman was sent to earth for a very nefarious reason.

Truly bizarre! A frustrating watch. Will stick to the 40+ year old ones. Far more logic and heart in those ones.
Even Quest For Peace looks like a carefully composed Mozart epic compared to this hectic horseshit.

3/10

At least BTC is "lookin' up" very much! Cool

Best movie of 2025 I've seen so far is: F1
Jurassic World Rebirth was a bit meh, but not as bad as Superman 2025.

Did not like MI3
Did not like my phone screen right after the movie
Did not like the weather walking to my car

GN

That was 19 years ago; time to let it go El duderino.
If you're thinking about seeing MI8, don't do it as I feel it isslightly worse than MI3 and way too long.

Surprisingly it's only 6 minutes longer than 7 but it feels very long due to all the talking and strange sideplots that don't go anywhere
such as that tall Waddingham woman captain on the aircraft carrier.

Meant 8 obviously Smiley
Also the cast
Black female president all the woman soldiers…
The under the sea part
Actually what a joke…. The whole story for what it’s worth

Belated MI8 rant:

Really not as good as 4,5,6 and 7 or even 3 for that matter. 5 is my favourite.
To me it seemed like they saw the success of Oppenheimer after 7's box office and
tried to shoehorn a whole Nolan-esque nuclear plot finishing each others sentences-endless talking
carry on into 8. Very weird and it goes on for 1 hour 20 minutes that stuff.

The movie completely misses the hectic chase stuff and fun Ethan Hunt with his team mates and
Ethan Hunt outsmarting everyone in a massive twist (think of 5 with the bank accounts he remembers and shoving
the bad guy in a glass box like how Ethan was trapped at the beginning - a superb pay off, not to mention the
perfect intro with the fun team mates and Ethan hanging from the plane into the opening credits.).
8 misses an exciting intro "light the fuse" into sexy opening credits. It feels very
mechanical and simple. 7 was already a bit OTT with 20 minute intro but at least there was a pay off with the mask.
No masks in 8 either! - WHY?!

Another problem the music is completely sub par as the original composer was replaced by his assistants. Bizarre.

Story rants:
A twist could have been Ilsa Faust being alive and kicking Gabriel's ass at the end of 8,
as you blatantly saw a shot of Gabriel's knives at the Italian club/party scene in 7,
indicating something was up with them. (The knives that took out Ilsa).
So Luther saying Hunt should always be one step ahead of The Entity was not really acted on.
Also why would the entity after "taking over" "cyberspace" want to destroy it by launching nuclear armageddon
and hide in a small vault in South Africa and probably never get out of there ever again?
Truly insane "story"line.
Gabriel detached from the entity was insane. Gabriel constantly has massive nuclear bombs and henchman around.
Just not believable.
Would have been simpler just to include Solomon Lane in 8 for the finale or so who Gabriel and The Entity set free.
Since Lane was still alive.
Start with that in the intro, whatever...

Amazing stunts though and I respect Tom Cruise's hard work. But this indeed was a bad movie if you exclude that
and start comparing to previous instalments.
What a shame.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin drops like a fcking rock into the abyss towards $90k range.

Still the only thing that makes sense whilst toddlers supposedly "run" countries and the inflationary monetary systems.

(Hello again btw)

My take:

I thought this several times pretty much and now I'm convinced and there is no way back:
Trump is just an actor in some kind of ultra weird silly optics game that Elon and Joe probably are part of too.
Just to ensure power stays where it is with this utter horseshit ping pong carry on, we have similar nonsense in the UK
with the Reform party (that is polling highest currently) of Nigel Farage doing everything it can to destroy itself before the next election 4 years away.
It was the perfect tool to ensure Keir Starmer became prime minister. But it will be gone soon enough.
Only Labour - Conservatives are the option and they literally sing from the same hymn sheet.

Behind the scenes Trump probably had a good laugh with Biden after the debate last year.

Donald: "Shit man when you froze up and started to say that beaten Medicare bit, I thought you'd REALLY lost it."
Joe: "That was good right?! You know the funny part, I'm going to be pulling out of the race and you'll be pretend running
against Kamala instead!"
Donald: "Noooo way!!!  Cheesy"

Bitch ass bullshit.

What do you think guys, should I give Mr Yakoob a chance?

Speaking of fire.

Sorry to see Hollywood homes burned to the ground.

But I guess the good news is Biden is now a great grandpa, the LA fire chief is happy being a lesbian,
the LA Mayor had a great time in Ghana and the US is giving another $500 million to Ukraine.

🤡🌏

kick them while they are down.

PCH is in flames 🔥 Which is a shame as it is truly a pretty highway.

It was nice when I visited but I doubt I'll ever be back.

Not kicking the people, just the shower of incompetent DEI a-holes they keep voting for. But that is up to them.
More should have been done to protect that area. Many people seem to have expected a tragedy at some point.

Good to see Musk going after the cunt government of the UK and especially the heads of the snake.

I hope he is successful taking down the utter criminal twats.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 02, 2025, 08:31:31 AM
The Balsamic Terrorist who used that Cyber Truck actually made me respect Musk and Tesla more, but I'm guessing now that
owning a Tesla will make you an individual target for Balsamic attacks since they will never rest until every inch of this planet
is destroyed. After all they seem to believe they already live in hell so are happy to take anyone out.

That seems to be the one fundamental link between all such attacks.

Quite a good joke on Whitney's Roast on CNN (of all places, they probably don't give a shit anymore,
since they are in a complete ratings death spiral).

"The drones are still up there, so they were probably not made by Boeing"

Happy New Year, everyone.

I know bitcoin is down almost 10% from it's recent ATH, but no need to fret.  We're going to have a great year, I can just feel it.  In the meantime, let's take a brief moment to reflect and laugh hysterically at the Starcraft Tournament prize structure from 2010.

Is it too late to enter?
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 02, 2025, 01:51:13 AM
So they finally woke up Joe Biden from his New Year nap to address the American nation about the double Balsamic Vinegar Religious terrorist attacks.

NOTHING to do with his ridiculous fake reign coming to an end I'm sure.

More DEI hires for the FBI might help?

Happy New Year, Happy 2025.

New Orleans Balsamic Peaceful Fairy Tale Religion Terrorist attack, 15 people slaughtered.
Cybertruck explodes outside of Trump hotel. Driver Killed.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Saylor could buy 10 million BTC and I bet the price somehow would still drop.

Madness.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 21, 2024, 11:13:25 AM

So scary all these four wheeled things everywhere.

20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 21, 2024, 12:23:19 AM

Shouldn't have taken those DEI loans.

Naughty Dog will be next to fail if it continues down that perverted path.
