Does it stake only when mint probability reaches 100%? Or If it is random, how do you assign weights?
once it reaches age, you will receive reward withing the next 30 days it all depends on weight Will i recieve POS reward as per new fixed structure (500000 per block) or 1200% per annum? I have completed 33 days with 100 m shnd but my wallet has not staked so far. |

because i still has some coins lock in the wallet for staking at 17 days old
any suggestion for this situation?
Please reply to this Bumba. Have you finalized the date of Hard fork. I have 100 Million and 30 million shnd coins staking in Wallet with age of 17 and 16 days respectively. Will i get POS reward before hardfork? |

Bitcoin Cash is not much different from other altcoins now.
When bitcoin dumps, bch follows.
I wish it could go the opposite way.
Bitcoin Cash (The Real Bitcoin) is only 6 months old kid. Give it time to grow. It will eventually become bigger than bitcoin soon. |

Though I am a newbie, but after reading many pages on this forum i kind of got a feeling that entire BCH community is trying to compete with Bitcoin comparing both on many aspects.
But is it necessary to compare always? There are so many alt coins are growing rapidly. What I understood the difference between Bitcoin and Altcoins is for name sake only. Can't we grow while bitcoin is growing? Let decide our own fate and keeping BTC aside. Lets keep our hands strong and let BCH grow instead of having debate with BTC holders.
I do hold little amount of BCH and understand its superiority over bitcoin but lets not be stick to the comparison and have something new to attract new buyers.
For example keep posting news about new conglomerate with BCH. BCH will shine soon. All the best

So guys, just out of the curiosity I checked every exchange and every market mentioned in CoinMarketCap BTC, DOGE, CNY , XP. Either something wrong with my Basic Math or I'm correct and it's ONLY 1.3 trillion.
Can someone please double check .

Don't modify POS% let it at 100%. Hi POS hi supply were a problem when you had the 1 sat treshold on BTC market but it's not 2017 anymore and SHND is below it for quite some time already. DOGE markets are now healthy so there is no problem to let it as it is. It wille ven erase its uniqueness think about it. Easterners like Japanese especially likes big supply.
The 2B cap still need a solution.
100% POS reward is not sustainable, number of coins will increase exponentially. Those who don't want to mine/stake will eventually loose value against the miners/pos community. Ultimately coin will be dead again if pos% is not decreased. and new people are not here because of big supply, they are here because something new and big is gonna happen (I suppose) with the appointment of new dev and expecting coin burn or hard fork. join official telegram, you will get to know what people want. |

what is maximum coin supply ?
For any and all coin info, coinmarketcap.com is a one stop good resource for that information amongst other things. It lists the total supply as... 11,831,955,808,912 SHND thank you for the answer. i know cmc but, is this number maximum coin supply ? It is now. As I pointed out in a previous post, two weeks ago Coinmarketcap said the total supply was 12 billion. Now it's 11 trillion. I asked about it but since no one has offered an explanation as to how or why that happened, for all we know next week there might be 100 trillion Stronghands. SHND started with 12b supply in 2015, I believe. But due to high POS reward (100% monthly) it increased to 11 trillion (though i am not sure). It was a dead coin until appointment of new dev (Bumba). Now new dev are working on supply issue and a new website. That's why high buying volume is coming in shnd for last couple of days. Let keep our finger crossed and wait for something big to happen. (A hardfork is also rumored on telegram chat, if that happen we could see a high jump soon in shnd) and btw total supply number on coinmarketcap is rectified by dev yesterday itself (it has not increased from 12b to 11t overnight ) |

Is there any way I can take backup of my shnd wallet in external hard drive so as to protect the same?
you can copy the entire data directory, or just the wallet.dat from the data directory the entire directory may be helpful for later syncing as it contains a copy of the entire current blockchain, or it may be overkill. in most cases the wallet.dat is sufficient. For Stake I should wait 30 days and be well? Or do I have to configure something else?
I saw a Japanese tutorial in which the guy downloaded a miner, do I have to do that?
Yes, for stake just wait for 30 days. You will get it based on the numbers of shnd in your wallet. SHND is POS and POW. For POS you are fine. For POW mining you need to follow Japanese tutorial. |

1. Will I loose on value if i don't stake(Mine) and don't opt for POS Reward?
2. Is POS reward going to be same (i.e 100% Monthly) after new dev?
