Now there are many cryptocurrency to be used as choices for us to invest. Personally, I am more interested to holding btc and eth.

Bitcoin is product of internet technology that all depends on what is called electricity. Of course if no electricity, then all things related can't operate including bitcoin.

If your motivation is to invest for long term, it's true bitcoin is the right choice. But  i am even more interested investing in altcoin because more volatile so i can achieve faster profits even though the risks are comparable.

Bittrex may be good for you. Because, I was using bittrex more than 3 years ago. Actually now there are many exchanges altcoins, so you have many options to exchange.

Lately my position on some site gambling even a minus. Whereas a few months before, everything was in a profit condition.

If bitcoin price still down, of course our risk to experience a smaller loss if we invest inbitcoin at this time. I'm not sure btc will keep going down, we'll see the next few years, and not the hourly chart.

Just like you, I have absolutely no confidence in graphics analysts, because analysts are just reading from the chart history not on what happens in market as a whole. And most graphical analysts are wrong (for me).

For now, bitcoin still the motor for altcoins that still exists. But i can imagine, if bitcoin really goes away. Surely there will be a replacement position.

True, Ethereum more comfortable in terms of fluctuations. And the condition of price in market still relatively cheap, so we can immediately achieve profits from investing in it.

I occasionally gamble, so there is no feeling of being ashamed by it. As long as it doesn't damage the financial condition, then gambling is no problem of course. Ashamed is when we've addicted in gambling.

Miners are the most influential parties to any transaction that occurs in bitcoin chain. Miners get bitcoin from the supply of bitcoin that hasn't been circulating. Transactions in my opinion are an additional advantage for miners.
