1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ㉫ ENJIN COIN [OCT 3] Smart Gaming Currency + Virtual Goods Platform on: September 28, 2017, 09:24:28 AM
I recently graduated college and my father gave my brother and I 1000 Ethereum as a graduation gift. He told us to hold onto it for the next few years as an investment. My brother keeps telling me about ICO's, and he has recommended Enjin and Airtoken. I'm wondering if I should hold or invest in these upcoming ICOs. Any information will help.

Wow, that's a lot of eth, one hell of a graduation present haha..

You are smart to be thinking ICOs, just got to be careful because there are definitely some scam ones out there too. Just gotta sniff out the bad ones.

I've had some pretty good success with the ICOs I've gotten in on, and what I like the most about Enjin is the fact that they already have 18 million users, so it's going to be a crypto that actually has immediate utility.

I think it will be very successful and would recommend getting it as soon as it goes live on the 3rd, but don't put all your eggs in one basket either.  Would probably be wise to keep some in eth and get into some other ICOs as well.

Best of luck!

I probably wouldn't give it unless I felt the bride and groom were into that sort of thing or innovative and progressive enough to have an open mind to it.  It's pretty great that this is happening now though.

I just imagine what someone who doesn't understand it now could be like in 5-10 years like, "Hey can you believe that $200 he sent us in bitcoin bought us this house"

What are the transaction fees for these coins?

I sent litecoin today and it cost $.01

Send bitcoin last week and it took forever and cost $12

Not sure about ETH, but I know it's def cheaper than BTC. I think last time I sent it, it cost around 50c or so
