ShorelineCrypto Exchange Hacked on 11/11/2021 11/12/2021
Dear ShorelineCrypto Friends and Members, we are sad to announce here that shorelinecrypto exchange platform was hacked on 11/11/2021. Through past one day investigation, we have determined that the yesterday's hacking event caused exchange to lose between $1000 USD to $2000 USD, most likely around $1500 USD as of today's DOGE/BTC/LTC trading price. The hacking was mainly on Dogecoin wallet, between 4000 to 5000 DOGE was stolen, to less degree for insignificant amount on exchange litecoin and bitcoin wallets. Here are details of the hack
(1) No exchange username or password were leaked or hacked on this event. A hacker registered a new username with email and hacked through the system software code with this account on a software bug that was unknown on this platform. (2) The hacking event was through a complicated simultaneous dogecoin deposit and withdraw many many times. Deposit less coins and withdraw more coins, therefore stole large amount of DOGE. Because vast majority of exchange dogecoin is stored offline in cold wallet, the most amount of dogecoin stolen was determined around 5000 DOGE.
This is first time that this exchange software code was hacked over our past 3 years of operation. This is significant and we have determined that shorelinecrypto exchange business is no longer viable business while we will continue our software business with no impact. Here are the decisions we have made on this hacking event.
(1) The hacking loss on dogecoin/bitcoin/litecoin wallets yesterday around $1500 USD will be taken by our owner and operator Blastinvest, LLC. Users of exchange will not take losses on this event. (2) The shorelinecrypto exchange business will go through a closure and liquidation process while shorelinecrypto software business will operate as usual. (3) We will shortly announce a procedure for all shorelinecrypto exchange users to obtain your refund on your remaining balances. Because the exchange software is unsafe and the web site will not return online soon, we mainly communicate through bitcointalk ann page and discord announcement. Please stay tuned.
Provide proof of what you claim. A simple address so we can see the withdraws from the 'hackers' This sounds like another one of your claims without evidence

Full Node Syncing ProblemThis issue apply for all full nodes, solo miners or pool miners etc. Posted byu/Sokka2015 3 hours ago Live node problem Hello Nengsters! There was an issue regarding node syncing and it has been resolved. For those having node syncing problems check block explorer and put some addnode using live-node board, do "dead chain" procedure as usual in our reset times if needed if the node can not sync. Block Explorer link: http://nengexplorer.mooo.com:3001/----------------------------------------------------------------------------- honglu69 · just now For those nodes miners that do not have any clean chain data available from another node, do this below to re-sync from beginning to end to get correct chain: ./nengcoind -reindex To speed up syncing and target correct nodes source, you can max out for only two connections, any two with correct blocks and addnode in "nengcoin.conf" file and delete other nodes to insure no interference from other wrong nodes: ------------ upnp=1 maxconnections=2 addnode=71.234.69.93:6377 addnode=185.182.8.67:6377 addnode=209.145.50.223:43768 ---------- really.................. so... you screw with the difficulty to you can try to make a CPU mineable scrypt coin..... THEN... the chain doesn't form a chain because the difficulty of the blocks being solved is too low and causing it to throw an error...........................you have no idea what you are doing.. all you had to do was change the amount it will vary during a diff reorg. ... and change the frequency it will reorg the diff from every n blocks to every block...... OR stop screwing with it to try and gain an advantage

I think CryptopreneurBrainboss means that they are searching threads where they can submit their low-quality posts without any effort, there are several topics like "will BTC die?", "when will the bear market end?", "when should I buy BTC?", "is gambling risky?" or similar.
with that being clarified then another variable that was not addressed in this experiment would be the commentor who shit posts. the should should have been comments on theirs as well not only the author of the shitpost. with the parameters set with this addition as well as taking your rank into consideration as well i think the results may differ slightly. higher would probably achieve more replies from the author. and if commenting was also on the shit commentators boost to the replies. keep in mind peoples underlying urge to feel important, or liked... or hell the fact that ego drives most peoples actions

im gonna be tossing it up on my psuedo-private pool later today.. u still have that many connections? is there a possible bootstrap available? whats the network hashrate and and diff? i used to mine it back early 2018 i may still have a .dat file with a couple coin on it.. lets not let GEERT die!

Again looking at these users post history you can easy identify those shitposters (mainly posting because they are paid to) even though their post have some little sense to it, they just move around the forum replying in any board they find discussion they can contribute to but the average none shitposters post history are always similar in regards to boards and sometimes threads he/she posts in.
how does what they chose to post on an indication of being a "shitposter"? wouldnt it be more of the content of what they post? and isnt that what we are doing? moving the forum finding something we feel we can contribute to? and im a little confused are we speaking of the author being a shitposter or the commenter? (sorry for the so many questions just trying to contribute )

so..... if wanting to get into gpu mining... bit of advice.. where you need to be looking is multiple cheap cards.. stay away ether and that mess.. unless you have 8gb cards or higher and those 8gb are gonna be too small soon too. so if you are going to focus on the 1060 6gb you are going to want to look for multiple used ones for cheap. and run them into the ground. i did that the last wave.. but with 1060 3gb. still have 4 of those and 2 of the 6gb. 1 is limping tho.. lol. limping bad. but. the 6gb are decent enough if you have many. I have been thinking about doing a shit rig. get like 10 of the 3gb or 20 of the 1050 USED im sure i can find for in the range of 75 -150 a piece. i think 150 is on the high side but people tend to over value things. then focus on the dying coins. mining is a hunt.. its not just set it to the popular coin at the moment and walk away rich. you work.. you research.. you dig.. till the network hash rate and difficulty are low enough that the profit to power consumption cost is worth turning them on and then you have earned the reward. and yes i had to say all that to let you know that today mining with one evga 1060 mini i earned approx 15000 satoshis bismuth
and before i take into consideration of power cost. and bismuth is pretty active.. not dying. i want that clear too. i mine it cause i want it.

In my opinion, the problem is a missing notification if we are quoted. I'm sure the people interested in a good discussion will reply if they get a notification that someone quoted them and asked an important question, it's not the lack of interest to reply. Of course, that won't solve the shitposter problem - they won't reply even if they get notifications all the time. In addition, they are quoted mostly by other shitposters. I know about the tool from Piggy but I would prefer in-forum solutions so I keep checking all the threads myself (still possible to miss questions) while i agree with the part about the notification system (i honestly forget to even check it) but a couple things.. what about the just busy author who saw the one gold coin under the name and just glanced on by. I think the rankings also have played into this outcome. Hate to say it but if you aren.t a 2 gold or higher a lot of people just dont really pay you any attention. this isnt ALWAYS the case but it does happen. Also im guilty of this one too, i usually stop reading after the quot is done.. maybe two... but 3 yeah screw that move on to the next.. as you may notice in the reply my quote here is from... i stopped reading after the quoted statement

not discrediting devvelopers.. not at all. a true coder .. one who designed something new.. ie: bismuth the python pure block chain, or NEM , or IOTA... that is a crucial developer. but the drive of the project.. thats the team or community...this guy said it best just a min ago simple explained ..
a Developer doesnt need to be able reading code ... he need to know when the bill has to be paid and which persons from his team does which job.
thats all.
nowadays developers are hired guns on upwork or peopleperhour.. trust me been hired.. but if the project is to be a success you will need a mix of honest and unscrupulous team members along with a large community that bought into the teams pitch
|
|
|
I think that developers are the most important part of the project. If their work is successful then there is a chance that they will be able to create a product that will have an application. I think that developers are more important than marketing.
i will have to disagree.. with the tutorials and youtube vids.. anyone can "develop" a new altcoin by cloning. what it comes to is the team and community. with out a team no one to do the leg work. without a community no one to use the coin.

All transaction data for block 58392 has disappeared. Not even the minted coins are showing. I sent 30000 coins and my transaction ID now shows nothing. I've never seen this before. What is the problem and can it be fixed?
the problem is that you fell for a scam coin. no exchange will accept deposits from them.. their website doesnt register you or send a confirmation email at all when you try to register for their "exchange". their coin has been 51% attacked multiple times. this developers need to go back to the drawing board. their shit is broken

sooooo i notice your block explorer is down.. any bounty for one? and any addnodes?
if there is a bounty and the price is right i can get one going if i can get this ti sync

need to update OP, coinsmarkets is scam!
Why do you think so? They also have the second OPCX coin ... is it also a SCAM? i have talked with the dev personally, he also went on a radio show (krewshuls krosshairs) last year and gave his name to stand behind the project and discussed all his projects. not a scam. more like for the community in my opinion did you find out whats he gonna do to uplift the value of his coin which is currently valued at 1sat? how sure are you that he has real plans on this project which is btw dying? dude, the coins that are at 1 sat and high apr % are great money makers as long as people still putting in buy orders at 1 (which i do) you buy when someone dumps into your order. hold fer 3 days then start selling the stakes. i have made good money that way.
|
|
|
no specifics but the guy is always trying to think of things to uplift the projects he does. have you been to the discord and talked to him your self. he is usually there
