2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [E-SCARCE] e-ScarceCoin [Limited Supply] - WavesToken - FREE AIRDROP on: October 08, 2017, 09:50:46 PM
A ton of bots and fake accounts joined the airdrop, thread has only 350 views but airdrop got 1000 users  Angry
3  Other / Meta / Re: eETC appeared and disappeared from ANN? on: October 08, 2017, 09:46:06 PM
All of these etherium and waves based token that appeared overnight had no white papers, no websites, no indication of the person or team behind them....Although it didnt look malicious (I.e., no one asking for private keys or sketchy wallet downloads that I saw), they were probably just money grab attempts based on the brief success of eBTC.   I think the mods made the right choice by giving them the axe, if that is what happened.
These guys were not going to steal your keys from purses. They wanted to make a Ponzi scheme, and it is far worse in my opinion.

A ponzi scheme when the tokens are free? That won't work.

If people buy these shitcoins when they hit the exchange that's their problem
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: free powtoken over facebook does it have a future? on: October 08, 2017, 08:42:59 PM
the white paper doesn't explain the use cases of POW lite on facebook or social media!

and the video is just sketshy!

The team is solid and serious, and the tokens were free. I expect a lot more from pow token than from all these eBTC eLTC eXRP copy paste clones.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: September 21, 2017, 08:47:31 AM
Right now the most attractive one is DeepOnion. It is just unbelievable. Every week, (for legendary ranked members) they are giving away as much as $1,000 worth of coins. If you participate in all the 40 rounds, it means that you earn $40,000 without any work at all. And that particular currency is having a very high potential for price increase.

I signed there and didnt receive anything. Also used their wallet but it wont connect to their network.

Deeponion is a great project and i am part of that concept and getting my weekly bounty. You have to join their community site https://deeponion.org/ and apply here https://deeponion.org/community/apply.php. They check your account and if found ok, you accepted to their airdrop. They have strong community and you get reply of your any query posted in their bcd thread.

Don't hold your breath waiting on getting authorized..

Approximately 82% get rejected

They reply on forum if they like your question.. if they don't they delete it.

great concept with a great future.  But no transarency, and no airdrop if you don't constantly say how wonderful DeepOnion is in all of your posts.

Alot of people get rejected because of spamming, burst posting, and cheat accounts.

When DO started they had a loose application requirement which alot of cheat accounts exploited.
About constantly saying how wonderful deeponion is, that's false. They encourage fact, and suggestions for improvement. I am active on more threads than I am on the Deep Onion thread, and I hardly mention anything about DO except needed, That's the point of having the signature to do the talking.

You say approximately 82% rejected, that is also false. It's about 50% for reasons stated above. Obviously the system is not perfect, but one thing I noticed is they strive to improve every day. You will probably consider this shilling, however you are entitled to your opinion, but imho, being in the official deep onion community forum, I have a clearer picture of how things are, and it's wrongly portrayed by people on the outside. To anyone reading this, If you actually meet all requirements and apply, be patient, and don't burst post because you are trying to hit a target. This is very obvious to detect.

By the way the number of accepted participants have increased as well.

Cheers!

Sir if you knew me you would know that I never publish without knowing the facts.

Please read rule 1 carefully :

As for my saying 82%, I was being kind

go to https://deeponion.info/

At the time of this post the stats were :

274 active users
10 awaiting confirmation
348 rejected users.

when you take into account how many active users were rejected in the first instance, it could be nearer 90%

Wow this feels like a cult. One thing is having a signature, but having to post talking good stuff about the coin?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice us on how to carry out our Adbota Airdrop of 3 million tokens, 100/1 on: September 21, 2017, 08:33:27 AM
Signature , twitter , facebook, blog , translation bounties are the most popular ways , you can go to the bounty board to learn how other projects do.
Why do you want to share it  100 each person? My thinking is more pay for more work.
Good luck to your project.

He said AIRDROP this means giving away tokens for free, not bounty program where you have to retweet or share stuff to get tokens.

Adbota is alt for google adsense that will be raising money through Ethererum smart contract, our goal is to change the way ads and content are been consumed online by users.
Adbota is going to be the new way to buy and sell ads online and is a game changer.
Advertisers will get value for their money. publishers will have more reason to enrich their content.

Please advice us on the best way to conduct our airdrop, we want to share it 100 tokens per one person.thanks

I would recommend airdroping to bitcointalk accounts with at least jr member or higher. Make a google form and ask for bitcointalk username, bitcointalk profile link, email and ERC-20 compatible address.

This should prevent spammers with multiple accounts abusing the system, it takes weeks and several posts to get to jr member.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Earned enough ETH to reinvest in another rig, would you do it? on: September 20, 2017, 10:28:59 AM
No way. When I got into mining gpu prices were normal and you could ROI the whole rig in a month and a half, but now it would take 9 months to pay for the whole rig without including the cost of electricity (and probably even longer because of how expensive gpus are right now), which is way too much and with the increasing dificulty it can take even longer to ROI.

I say HODL your coins and keep mining whith the rigs you have.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: JSEcoin (Javascript coin) First of it's kind? on: September 20, 2017, 10:07:31 AM
Think you've got the wrong end of the stick, have a nose around the site and forum.

Could you please emphasise the difference between JSE and BAT?
Thank you

They aren't similar in anything, BAT does ad stuff and JSE mines in the background.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: JSEcoin (Javascript coin) Browser mining, ASIC resistant! on: September 20, 2017, 09:53:44 AM
I prefer coinhive, it mines monero which will be worth something in the future. Not sure about this javascript coin  Undecided

Don't carry your mining equipment around lol
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CPU mining using servers? on: September 20, 2017, 09:33:33 AM
Can it be profitable to use servers to CPU mine? I don't mean using cloud mining. I mean CPU mining using dedicated servers.

Believe me it's not worth it, you will be burning money essentially. If you wanna do it for fun just try, but beware that some providers will terminate your account if you max out the cores to mine. Read the terms of service first!
