I'm still holding back on generating any batches. Can't wait to see what happens once the app is released to the public.
its truly amazing how many people have held onto their batches.... their has always been a lot of Fatih from day 1 with elixir This is true. On the other hand, well over half the batches have already been mined, so the final supply of Elix is going to be pretty darn low. I for one haven't mined a single batch of my genesis pairs and do not intend to for...a long, long time! All of the community growth and marketing has been organic, driven by the community. The development team have done nothing but work on the product and release weekly updates. This says a lot for the faith we have in them, which itself says a lot for their competence. This is the best long hold in the entire crypto market if you're in now. |

I sold all the coins. I do not believe in project. It looks like a scam project, which I invested earlier. A hidden and incomprehensible team. An important factor is the new profiles in linkedin. Checking the company, it really exists, but since 2009 ... How so? This scheme for the scam project, some news, and thats all. Another important point: there are better projects with a stronger team, but their capitalization is only 50-70 million. In general, I can not advise anyone, think for yourself. Observe, gather facts and evaluate.  Are you joking? Elixir Capital NV is a completely separate company set up by some 50 year old Dutch guy in the Netherlands, and aside from having a similar name is nothing to do with ELIX LLC whatsoever. I'm not usually a gloater, but in this case I think I will be getting in touch with you in a few months time to show you how well I'm doing  |

We supposedly knew everything about the confido team. The key difference? They displayed no actual work on their product. ELIX team have consistently shown their persistent work over the last few months. That's what you really want in a project, not fancy graphics and elaborate team bios. That said, making the devs known to the public would generate a lot of investor trust and bring in a lot more capital. MyLedger is great so far, but I'm more excited to see the ELIX based crowd funding - will it work through the app then, too?
The loan crowdfunding is a feature which we would like to include in our smart contracts. We are currently focused on completing the core functionality of the mobile application, which is to allow users to send and interact with loans between one another, and be rewarded for each loan's completion. We'd like to further examine the viability of including the crowdfunding functionality from within the mobile application, and whether mobile would be the most appropriate platform to place it on, or if we will be placing it on the global lending platform. In either instance, we will work on designing the appropriate interface for this functionality, and integrate it with whichever platform it can work best on (or even both). I think part of the market niche you're targeting here for the crowdfunding is the possibility of a mobile platform for it. That's where you'll get an edge over things like kickstarter. The simpler you make it for people, the more they'll use it and the closer you come to mass adoption. That said, mobile functionality won't be the be-all end-all of this concept, however I think it will be a non-negligible USP. |

I think the project will still make itself felt. Now the developer just took a timeout. The project was already deployed fairly quickly, perhaps now Dev is developing Elix.

Aside from the dev not following the roadmap, I guess there is more to it than just the smart contracts and everything. As long as the "big" roadmap goals are achieved (i.e. the ELIX App Q1 2018) it will be enough for the public view to recognise that development is still going on. As a past ESP2 user, I am used to dev being behind the roadmap anyways How have they not followed the roadmap so far? |

NovaExchange TME RecoveryThe ELIX developers are moving forward with a plan to recover TME locked in NovaExchange. As NovaExchange has not initiated plans to work with the developers to remove this TME, the developers have chosen an alternative option. The process of recovering TME in NovaExchange is not ideal, but we are dedicated to helping those who purhased TME turn their holdings into EXOR, which they may then turn into ELIX. Note: If NovaExchange opens withdrawals or deposits, the developers will not be able to move forward with this plan but will consider alternative possibilities. To recover TME you have stuck in NovaExchange: Option 1: Under "Accounts" in NovaExchange (in the upper right), go to API Keys. Generate a new API key. Email elixirtoken@gmail.com with the following: API_KEY API_SECRET We can check your balance using these, and then you can delete that API key. Option 2: 1. Move all digital assets except your TME out of your NovaExchange account. There will be some gas costs, but this step is optional. It is meant to eliminate trust throughout the process. 2. Change your email if you wish to protect your privacy. 3. Create and set a temporary password for your account. Email elixirtoken@gmail.com with the following information: 1. Your NovaExchange username and temporary password. 2. The address to which you would like an equal amount of EXOR credited. This should be a personal wallet, not an exchange wallet. If you use an exchange wallet, you will not be able to access your EXOR. We will then email back with a request #, which will be used to organize this process. Afer the removal of TME from NovaExchange (scheduled for September 30th), the developers will credit the addresses specified with EXOR. Please be patient regarding email commmunications as we expect to receive many claims. Addresses will be credited after the delisting of TME to make sure the process goes smoothly. Novaexchange have been extremely erratic and the developers have done their best to work with the situation. The window to change TME to Elixor closed a while ago. Novaexchange itself is set to close soon as well, apparently. God knows why TME trading has opened after they said they'd delist it at the end of September, and its even more confusing since the whole exchange is now closing. Clearly, the exchange is dangerously erratic and unpredictable and is best avoided as it is a toxic influence. I'm sorry, it may be too late for you to get Elix. |

Anyone have a link to the page where there was a workaround offered that wasn't just "send ETH to this random address and hope for more tokens!" A pity indeed.

So for those of us who couldn't get TME tokens out of nova until a couple days ago due to the software issue and didn't want to double down on a second ICO for a thing we were already bought into, are there any options currently?
I believe they did offer a workaround to this. Pity you missed it. |

Marketing involves all of us as well, a lot of other icos are just fancy marketing and no real development. I have a lot of faith in Elixir.
People who have invested money into this project are not obligated to do the marketing for it. The team behind the project should already have a plan for marketing and qualified people to do it. A certain percentage of money that has been invested into the project should be used for marketing. Marketing is more than just getting people to jump on board; it also has to do with keeping them on board. Question: Price was a lot higher than it is now. Price continues to fall. Why have so many people left the ship? What can the team behind Elixir do to win them back? A solid marketing team would know what to do. You're not wrong. If your question about price is actually a genuine one, it's because of a pump created by a youtuber a few weeks ago now who basically shilled Elixir |

Look friend, these are all things we here are aware of. Hence the investment - coming updates are strongly hoped to increase investor confidence and increase the price, yielding holders like me massive returns. Why the hell do you think I put money into this? Because I want to see returns. You can keep attacking me based on some weird tribal emotion of "my coin is better because I feel part of its community, therefore we are enemies!" or you can acknowledge this higher risk, higher reward investment that I and many others here have made. I quite honestly don't understand why you are here being so aggressive. Let's put it simply, here is a way to make money. Fight me all you want, it isn't untrue. You just consider the risk higher than I do, and that's fine by me because I think you're wrong. Go do your thing without spamming this thread.
Also I just checked, Ripio has a total supply of one billion coins, with 400 million currently circulating. Good luck seeing much return on your current investment with those kind of figures given how it compares relative to the whole crypto industry.
Also Elixir's price could increase substantially - by ten, twenty, thirty...a hundred times its current price or more, and the market cap would still be far lower than Ripio's, and many other cryptos. If you want significant returns, Ripio is not the coin to invest in

What you're saying boils down to: "Ripio are ahead slightly and we know their identities, therefore Elixir is a scam". As for the increase in circulating supply, a) this is a common feature of cryptocurrencies, they are mined and increase in supply and b) Elixir's very identity is based on its unique method of creation. As time goes on the maximum supply can only decrease - unlike literally every single other crypto currency which has a fixed maximum supply or in a few cases, no maximum supply. I know which I prefer if I'm holding Ripio's lending solution appears more complex than that proposed by the Elixir project, which intends to provide a dead-simple application that literally anyone can use. Mass use relies on ease of use of a product, and I definitely see Elixir as having more potential for this than RCN. Basically, do your intelligence (and portfolio) a favour and read into something before making such judgements, and don't compare apples and oranges. Now, this thread is not about Ripio, so please desist. |

Well at least ELIXIR was a little bit original. Claim token with child/parent address, with bonus between transaction if you wait.
Except ELIX isn't a scam in the slightest and any moron who has been following it will be able to easily tell. Amber is just annoyed because people were mean to her in the chat - you can even see her messages saying so. |

I still fail to see the importance of dev team showing their faces. Is it so that people on the other side of the world feel like "Wow, that CV is nice. I will hop on board now."
For me, that would not take away any of my questions.
Many people have expressed their concern at it. I agree, I'm not fussed, but there are a lot more people out there who are. For many it is a significant barrier to investment. |

@ElixDev & @ElixirDev2 Are you guys considering implementing pooled lending? I.E. when someone requests a loan of X amount, and multiple lenders lend them different amounts of money to make up the total they requested? I think this could be a way to make your product see significantly more usage. A kind of kickstarter. It is the type of idea that excites people and make them write articles about the "end of banking as we know it" etc, I reckon.
Can you imagine how utterly groundbreaking it would be if this got pulled off. Need a startup loan for your business? Open the ELIX app and request the loan. Perhaps, if possible, include a link to your business plan/website in the loan request. Potential lenders can then view this and offer to loan whatever they are willing, and once enough lenders have loaned you reach your total requested and you have your loan to startup your business! Who needs banks any more?!?
Seriously. Please could you implement this into your roadmap/project eventually. This will be massive.
