1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is the best time to buy Altcoin? on: February 23, 2019, 11:28:20 AM
Probably the best time to buy is the time when everyone sells. When everyone thinks that prices will no longer rise, that time to buy is the most normal time. Therefore, I believe that today there are real opportunities for buying this fact.
Perhaps I slightly disagree with Your opinion, because this purchase is extremely risky. Once most investors begin to sell tokens faster, the probability that the price will increase many times is very, very small. I think to buy tokens at this stage, you need to be a very risky person.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is the best time to buy Altcoin? on: February 23, 2019, 11:23:40 AM
I noticed that there are many investors who likes to participate during ICO because of the huge profit but its very risky as well.

When is the best time to buy Altcoin?

ICO stage?
From Exchange?
Wait for the dip?
To date, I believe that participating in the ICO project is an extremely risky business, and has recently ceased to be a profitable investment. Therefore, at the moment I believe that it makes no sense to buy project tokens at all.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will replace ETH! on: February 22, 2019, 12:51:09 PM
The CEO of Cardano has an obsession to put ETH into the gutter!

https://ambcrypto.com/cardano-ada-is-planning-to-replace-ethereum-eth-marlowe-to-take-over/

Cardano has the technology and capabilities to destroy ETH and some other coins in the top 20: Make no mistake Cardano is a giant slayer!
I am not a big analyst, so I can not predict the growth or fall of coins in this market. I do not exclude that in the future Ethereum will become obsolete as an investment tool, and it will be replaced by a more successful project, and I also do not exclude that this project will be Cardano. But all this will be possible in the future, and today, we can say with confidence that the Cardano project does not reach in many respects and is not a big competitor to Ethereum.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: February 22, 2019, 12:30:29 PM
a lot of good news coming in wavesplatform
in the last few days, waves price growing hardly, even rise more than 100% my friend

is this a sign if waves will be the next ethereum ?

This market is very unpredictable and we can not assume what kind of coin will stand out in the leaders and will be able to take the place of the Ether. But today, I believe that the Waves platform is not yet sufficiently developed in many respects and does not have such confidence on the part of investors as the Ethereum platform has. That is why the Waves platform still has a lot of work to do to become a competitor to Ethereum.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple will Die on: February 22, 2019, 12:23:03 PM
Big/medium banks are never going to use Ripple, theyre only trying it out and will drop it then make their own technology (not de-centralized!)

Blockchain will change how we send money, but not through banks. Theyre completely against de-centralized control of financial system. We need blockchain solutions like Kora (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2876521.0) that are person to person and small business to small business
Ripples on my view well suited in as a long-term investment. And if we talk about the technology of development and potential, I think Ripple is the leader in many respects and is the most popular and successful platform than most other Altos. Therefore, accordingly, I stop my choice on the Ripple platform, and I sincerely believe and hope for the further development of this coin.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo to surpass Eth on: February 22, 2019, 10:00:24 AM
Everyone keeps saying that neo will surpass eth.. how come then the price hasn't even gone over $100 :/
I don't think that's going to happen. Perhaps NEO is a good project in this market, in which it makes sense to invest your money, but still Ethereum has a very large trading volume, and has a large market capitalization. Ethereum by far have more advantages than the NEO.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or EOS? on: February 22, 2019, 09:52:32 AM
More and more blockchain games choose EOS instead of ETH (and I believe it's the same with ICOs)

Hey crypto gamers! What do you prefer more?

example:
https://gameunculus.io/blog/94
In my opinion, the EOS platform is a potentially profitable coin as an investment, but I believe that today this platform has some shortcomings, which greatly affects the trust of the community, so while Ethereum is a more reliable platform and in demand in this market.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether or altcoins? on: February 22, 2019, 09:44:30 AM
Hey guys what do you think? Is it better to hold ether or altcoins? I think alts are better because they can give you more profit, however it is quiet risky to hold them.
I think now on the market a considerable number of coins that have the potential for profit in the future. My favorite coins that I invest a majority of their funds are ETH, XEM, EOS. In General, I think most of the coins included in the top 25 may be the best choice in terms of investment.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: February 19, 2019, 01:05:27 PM
Now days we have more than 1 000 altcoins on the market. The question is, are people really using them? Frankly speaking only bitcoin, ethereum and monero are used for P2P payments. All others are used mainly for speculation purposes. Is it worth buying altcoins now days? I guess no, because all of them excluding tether are following bitcoin price chart.  I mean if bitcoin is going up or down, altcoins are doing same. (Tether is connected to US dollar rate and used mainly for arbitrage trading purposes) So do we really need altcoins? Regarding platforms, only ethereum is mainly used, and mostly for creating ERC tokens. All others, like waves, neo, etc are used very rarely. Monero is used mosly for shady deals because it is untraceable. (I doubt about that, because one dude who opened a shop on a dark web for selling drugs was cached by police last week. For communication he used 3 level protected VPN and was accepting payments only in monero) https://www.wired.com/story/monero-privacy/ You can read about dark web here. https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/internet/dark-web-3593569/ days. The main question is: Do we really need altcoins? Or Bitcoin, Ethereum and Monero are enough for crypto comunity this days?

You have chosen three coins, which in your opinion can develop in the market and are important for the community. But I think it's a little wrong. Yes, I agree that there are a lot of coins on the market, which are absolutely meaningless and no one needs, because they do not bring any benefit, but there are also those projects on the market with which people work and which are really necessary for the community. I will not list these coins, but believe me on the market there is a sufficient number of them.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there still future for digital currency? on: February 17, 2019, 01:03:45 PM
Over the past one year or so, due to continued bearish mood, cryptocurrency is having a very difficult time and some people think that it would die, but i think cryptocurrency still has a very bright future, for at lest next decade.
Yes, I fully share your opinion, today we can see that more and more companies are exploring and implementing blockchain technology in their system, as this technology is developing and becoming popular. Therefore, the digital currency should show us its full viability.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON vs EOS on: February 17, 2019, 12:03:39 PM
Which of these smart contract platforms are the best? Or which will prevail in the long term? Will it be Tron or EOS? As far as I know, both promise unparalleled TPS and cheap fees. If they continue to grow in terms of development and innovation, then they could easily outpace Ethereum in the future.

Nevertheless, my pick would be EOS as it has an experienced veteran in the blockchain industry known as Dan Larimer. Which would be yours?  Smiley
In principle, both projects are developing in this market, have their own community and also have the potential for development and profit in the near future, so in my opinion, Tron and EOS can not serve as a bad tool as an investment. But EOS yet it seems to me some indicators of development slightly in the lead.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone to recommend good ICOs? on: February 16, 2019, 09:52:52 AM
Reading this thread 2 years later is very interesting, I find out that ICOs in early 2016-2017 are now in top 100 ranking. Why current ICOs are so bad in a progress? It is not due to bear market only  Roll Eyes.
The current ICO is not progressing well now, I think due to the fact that people have learned to earn easy money in this market, and they were not interested in the promotion and implementation of really promising projects. Alas, if the case continues, then soon investors will not be interested and this type of investment and earnings is useless.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think abot ico new projects? on: February 16, 2019, 09:45:52 AM
Dears,
Alot of new ico projects every day.
Do you think all will make thier way to success.
And what elrments needed for aproject to succeed.

In order for the project to successfully develop in the market and be in demand, developers should have in addition to the desire to take over our money and the desire to make projects popular and profitable not only for developers but also for investors. Now a lot of scams appeared on the market, which has only one goal, is to collect money. Therefore, to some extent, we can assume that the ico is slowly dying out because of the need for investors.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the large variety of Altcoins hurting the market? on: February 16, 2019, 09:39:54 AM
You could make the argument that if all of the capital in crypto only had to be spread across 50 coins that that would make each of those coins extremely more valuable.  In light of that thought, is the huge variety of Altcoins ultimately a good or bad thing for crypto?
I believe of course a large number of different and in most cases absolutely useless altcoins just prevent to develop and be useful coins on this promising projects. I think if our choice was narrowed to a minimum number of coins, the market situation with prices would be quite different.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto should I buy now on: February 15, 2019, 11:16:45 AM
I have about $2500 to spare
And I want to invest into a coin
Please help me decide on one of these coins

1. VECHAIN.                                 VET
2. ICON.                                         ICX
3. PUNDI X.                                   NPXS
4. MONEYTOKEN.                        IMT
5. BASIC ATTENTION TOKEN.   BAT

I intend to keep buying some of these coins with spare Money as time goes but can't make up my mind on which to buy first now

Your opinion will be highly appreciated.

If, for example, I had to choose coins as an investment for myself, then from this list more developed and promising for the future I see VECHAIN and PUNDI X. I Think it makes sense to invest in them. But in any case, trust only your opinion, as to live with this choice only to you. Analyze and buy.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP competing places with ETH? on: February 15, 2019, 11:11:15 AM
Too fast and short XRP reclaims its position from Ethereum. I am still hesitant to invest now, the market is still not good. More often red and no significant changes. How do you respond to this? Will you still survive to buy several altcoins? Thank you in advance.
The market really disappoints us very much and does not give any hints of recovery. But still, I think this is not a reason to refuse to invest even with such a negative dynamics. Because of the relatively low price, I have not ceased to replenish my investment portfolio, and to this day I continue to periodically invest in top coins. Ethereum and XRP for me are the best altcoins to date, so I think buying these coins in such a market, in the future we will be able to extract a very good profit from this.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH VS EOS who wins? on: February 15, 2019, 10:56:15 AM
Hello guys. On the previous week Vitaly founder of ethereum announced ethereum 2.0 with faster transactions and so on. Do you think our old friend ethereum can defeat a very promising EOS? Or EOS is soon going to be crypto number 2 instead of ethereum?
In order for the EOS platform to become a direct competitor to Ethereum, and to force It out of the second position, developers need to work hard and finally bring their project to a completely new level, thereby gaining the trust of the community and providing the market with a more convenient and promising technology than Ethereum. Only then can we talk about competition. Today, undoubtedly Ethereum wins in many ways.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: February 15, 2019, 10:48:25 AM
Perhaps I am wrong to Express a negative opinion, but still believe that today playing blockchain games is a waste of time, earn decent money now will not work, and sit just for fun, well, it's a little boring.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin to buy? on: February 15, 2019, 10:44:06 AM
I think that at the moment, given the conditions that are emerging on the cryptocurrency market, the best coin for long-term investment will be Ethereum.
I see how it shows a slight increase even at a difficult time on the market.
This coin definitely has a bright future.

I agree that Ethereum is, in my opinion, the most correct decision for investment. But do not forget about other equally promising coins, which are also potentially successful and profitable. such coins include Ripple, Cardano, Stellar and EOS.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I cursed? on: February 15, 2019, 10:35:09 AM
I don't know if I am cursed or something. If I sell a coin now from airdrop/bounty few days later that coins increases much that you will regret selling. If I hold a coin from airdrop/bounty again that coins price decreases much that you will regret not selling right away. I'm confused now whenever I sell the price increases and when I hold the price decreases. Am I cursed?  Cry
I don't think it's that serious. I can assume that you have not yet fully understood the work in the cryptocurrency market, it is possible just as long as you do not have enough experience. Try to learn to study and analyze projects in detail and I am sure everything will work out. Be careful and patient.
