Sooner or later mass adoption will occur due to the proof and guarantee that the blockchain in general is displayng. However, the major obstacle at the moment at the present time is the regulation of banking institutions and governments around the world. Thus, the bureaucratic system of laws in the world is the primary impediment today for cryptocurrencies.
Yes, I wonder how banking institutions and governments would take this move by Binance and soon Paypal too. I think we're only at the beginning as this pandemic occupied a lot of thing so they hasn't realize it yet.

I'd say that it's probably some sort of bonus to attract exchanges into listing GOLD. And this would mean that GOLD team would pay the storage fess for the involved GOLD from their pockets / revenues.
So that's how it is. But from the exchange's viewpoint, they receive nothing other than GOLD holders keep their balance on exchange for free of fees. This also leads to the exchange become an attractive target for hacking since hackers know there are a bunch of GOLD balances stay there.

Have you ever experience that your token or coin are sent to 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 address without your knowledge?
As a promoter of GOLD token, you should have done your homework better. @Bttzed03 has posted the relevant things and indeed, it's the daily fee you pay for the storage of the actual gold and it's probably coded in the contract of the token and done automatically. So don't worry, nobody is accessing your key. I would add that exchanges don't pay this fee so if you want to HOLD and don't want to pay the fee, you can take the risk of keeping the tokens at an exchange. If I remember correctly, GOLD team did said something about there must be an upkeep fee for GOLD holders but why keeping GOLD on an exchange don't invoke this fee tho? So how the exchange would pay for our GOLD upkeep?

Making translations for every language is frivolous and a false sense of progress when both English and Chinese speakers have lost interest. There is also a browser plugin called google translator that will do the job just fine. Sadly, this is better than sitting idle and doing nothing. It's okay to go forward to a niche community by translate DeepOnion related material to local languages. At least this is initiated by the DeepOnion community too with just a few push by the team. Also, Google translator only counts as a machine translation at best. If you dig deeper, Google translator is horrible for docs with technical words.

Itīs great to see more people working on different translations. Thatīs really important to reach more people around the world.
I think the Finnish language will be added as well, the more languages the better for expansion. If you know somebody can translate refer to the thread. We can reward in ONION those translators. Great. I saw a few DeepOnion enthusiasts that operate on their own in their own local language and translate anything from DeepOnion to help their fellow folks understand. Nice to see their goodwill would receive a reward.

I don't know about letting an average joe on Reddit hold ETH would be a good idea. True they are the front page of the internet but that only talks about quantity when to me, personally I always consider quality first and foremost in the crypto space.

Since Jed McCaleb, founder of Ripple already make a statement about him selling his Ripple bag, that is a clear sign showing Ripple slowly going downhill. Of course, Ripple bag holders try their best to create a hype to introduce new investors into the Ripple market. I think that's expected and understandable.
|
|
|
As long there are investors willing to take Ripple from his hand and there is a demand for Ripple, it won't impact Ripple prices. It was not uncommon for founder or chairman to selling their stake in stocks of their company. Though to make sure that action not sending the wrong signal toward investors, they could secure a deal with someone to overtake their bag. From what I saw, Jed McCaleb didn't do this so I think Ripple prices only be impacted if he dump a lot in one goes.

Like everything, it isn't always blissful and sunshine all day especially in the crypto market. The best way is don't let crypto become the only source of your income and you will be good even when the market in tumbling.

Cheating or NOT Cheating?
Coming from altcoinstalk forum I've experience few projects going against their own rules like saying on promotion page that no KYC will be required and after promotion ends they tell promoters to go and open account on an exchange and pass KYC, what can this be called? Cheating? Any consequences for such projects on this forum? Thank you.
Can't really call that cheating since its their game, their rule. This is pretty common in the promotion campaign since they want to attract as many people as possible to spread the news. After that, they add more rules to weed out the participants whatever they want. Project do this shit is lowest and usually fail after promotion campaign anyway so no value lost.

So they finally show their true color. This already come from mile as sistemkoin.com exchange had a horrible reputation and many users already stop using that exchange. Though one thing I can't understand how exchange with that bad name still able to rank at 26 on Coinmarketcap? Why there are people still using that exchange?

lets you claim 1 CovCoin each 3 hours if you are at home How did you know someone at home to claim 1 CovCoin each 3 hours? Do I need to allow your app to read GPS and location service on my phone? If yes then I think it's a bit too much on the privacy just for earning some coin.

Burning didn't mean huge growth, most projects that have burning features are bad, burning, deflation, etc are just simple tricks to limit supply and add value to coins only if there is high demand for the coin
Agree but there are people still naive and think burning is some sort of magical switch that helps coin skyrock, booming,... I think most coin that has to burning is just like you said, already in a bad state and I doubt by burning would do.

Crypto will be the biggest thing to focus on from now on because Bitcoin is recovering an stock market is not, once many witnessed this they will finally understand what crypto is capable of, for all of you saying it's the end, well it's just the beginning
Honestly, it wasn't a bad thing for Bitcoin to depend on the stock market and react to the current stock trend. It shows Bitcoin could be integrated into the global economy.

Hello There! At one time, I stopped being interested in the altcoin-markets because of the situation there. Famous projects were dropping their bags off to gullible investors to get even more money. Do you think the situation has changed in the year 2020? Is it safe to trade ERC-20 tokens and is it possible to earn something else? Any coin market always has a few bad eggs every once in a while. But if the market shows that the market is worth $0 or less to bidders, then the temptation is greater than ever to manipulate the market to bring more bidders in and continue to drive the price of that coin. Everyone needs to buy and sell their coins on an open market, not in closed doors in a meeting room with pump'n dumb.

It will bounce back because after BCH goes green all the sudden, also XRP too. Just some good news and hype market is enough to put Bitcoin back to where it used to be.

I don't think it was a good idea to introduce a bunch of emotion drive, immature, on the rebel phase teenager to crypto world.

Knowledge could come from experience as well. I bet many long-time traders and holders make as big today not come from just simple luck but from how they learned through many raise and fall of cryptocurrency.

My friend introduce me about the airdrop campaign, it is good, but you can only have a small amount of alt coin for every airdrop, and the price equivalence of it in the market is just minimal. And in terms in participating on it, some airdrop is a time consuming. May I ask does participating on it gain big earnings?
I did and I guess a few also like me, earn big cause lucky in one in thousand airdrops out there. You need to take a hint at some airdrops are easy give away whatever it could become big or not.

What a nice read, OP. I totally agree with your point about Tether. I bet every one of us has Tether in their bag but hope not a single one naive enough to trust Tether or consider it as an investment.
