Same issue with my miners! |

Hi all. Has anyone got a x10 CE certificate copy? Customs has stopped it and said that it will not be released and will be destroyed if I wont provide CE certificate.
My Baikal Giant-B is stuck at German customs authority ... and I fear that they will have to send it back to China as the devices miss the CE confirmity declarations. Did you get your Baikal miner shipped to your place? Did you get any help from Baikal? i got my giant x10 without problems you have to call them and ask what they need. they need basically: 1. import instruction 2. a proof how much you paid for the miner (baikal put a invoice around 300$) I don‘t think these miners have a CE certificate. I was lucky: Mine got shipped via DHL Express right to my door (Germany). Have you asked Baikal about a CE certificate? Without one it‘ll be pretty difficult. I‘m not sure if they are even allowed to let it pass without one. |

Yes, I know that there are no two new algorithms for the new image.
I just want to update to v1.1 because of the dropouts from the Miner.
Can you possibly give me some instructions on how to install the new image on it?
I need to remove the backpanel by unscrewing the 4 screws. Then pull the hashing boards out a bit. On one side one side is the orange pi connected via GPIO pins. Pull the orange pi up carefully and remove be micro sd card from it by pushing it in until it clicks. Now you can flash the image onto the sd card. Remember: your pools and other data will be wiped, so better save them! Now rebuild the miner: Put the sd card in the orange pi, stick the orange pi on the GPIO pins, slide the hashing boards back in and install the backpanel again. |

Anyone knows whats new/different in the new firmware V1.1? Should I upgrade, even if I have no problems with my V1.0?
A changelog would be awesome....but I guess this doesnt exist at all.

From a mail from Baikal: If your baikal X10 works fine,you don't need to do the update.
Only have some setting about enable-nicehashsma :true I updated and cannot see any differences anywhere. |

Warum wie warm werden denn deine Miner?
bis zu 48 Na das ist ja eh noch recht anständig. Die Miner im Keller laufen aktuell mit 55 - 57 Grad... Aber X13 ist auch ein echter Stromfresser... Welchen Algo fährst Du denn? Meint ihr nicht, dass da ein bisschen warm ist? Ich habe nachgefragt und laut Baikal sollten die temperaturen unter 40°C bleiben. Meine laufen auf Quark mit 50% Fanspeed bei 31°C (14°C Umgebungstemperatur). Don´t you think that´s a bit hot? Ask asked Baikal and they say that the recommended temperature is unter 40°C. Mine are mining Quark with 50% fanspeed at 31°C (14°C ambient temperature). |

Mine just arrived. Did everyone else get ones with the back plate on them or no? My back is just exposed to the boards.
My miners backs are exposed too. Are yours looking used too? Mine are pretty scratched and immediately started mining at 100% fan speed for many preconfigured pools. Is there an option for automatic fan speed? I manually set mine to 40% as running at 100% is just unnecessary noise. |

Hello, I got the AWB number today from Baikal. But there is only "1 number" with "1 Piece" and i ordered multiple devices... Still nothing for most people. Did you also receive the email mentioning December 5 or December 11? And what country are you in? Just received my tracking number as well. I ordered 2 X10 and it also shows up as 1 piece.

You have it on nice hash?
Yeah, I didn’t know which pool to use besides nicehash as Zpool wasn’t paying much when I was running my A900 on there. Any recommendations ? Or algo I should mine ? Currently NiceHash (Multi-Algo) seems to be the most profitable one (see: https://ibb.co/jAWR7m), but zPool (Multi-Algo) is getting closer and supports myr-gr & skein too. zPool also supports custom factors for automatic profit switching, so you can include the different hashrates and power consumptions. When did you ordered, payed, got your confirmations and waybill? |

Can someone tell which power supply I need ?
And how can I start the miner?
Is there a start button on the miner?
How loud is it?
Can I run this in a small room?
Any PSU with 6x 6-pin ATX works. With the currently known algos at least 800W, but definitely go higher (future algo may require more and better add some as a buffer)! Baikals statement: I asked Baikal about the recommended power supply and here is their response. "1200watt is recommended.
Need 6 standard 12v 6pin connectors"
My L3+ automatically turns on as soon as power is available, so probably no button. Theres no information regarding the noise level. I expect ~60 dB, like other miners. Running the miner in a small room shouldn´t be a problem, but: Keep the generated heat and the noise level in mind. If you plan to run this in your home do not underestimate the noise level. |

I´m mining STORJ as well, but only "for fun".
Last payment was in mid october: 6,37 SJCX (2,9$) for ~600GB.
Gettings contracts is indeed very slow. It took me about 2 month for my 600GB.
Are Burst and Sia more profitable?

You guys see the pics on twitter. Looks like they are close to being complete. They now have 6 pcie connectors. Their post "we are waiting" I assume was due to the lack of interest in the 2nd batch. However I feel like those of us from batch 1 are the ones waiting. Anyway it looks like things are progressing.

Current status on my order: ordered on 13.09, payed (wire transfer) and sent the proof & passport copy on 14.09, received confirmation on 19.09 (directly from employee, not baikal@baikalminer.com). They are going to contact me again for the shipping. |
