Says I am running 0.8.1 - Beta. Will I need to update anything soon.

v0.8.1 is already able to accommodate the May 15th 2013 hard fork, if that's what you are asking.  Upgrading to v0.8.2 when it is released will be optioinal for you.

Thanks, this is what I wanted to know. Was worried about moving my coins.

Ah, gamblers. Don't be like the rest who say they will stop, one day get bored maybe bet 1 or 2 coins then go all in and waste them all.

If I use one of those sites to make a wallet, if those sites get hacked won't my keys be visible. Do you also have to trust the site.

Hello everyone, I have browsed this forum looking for a answer but finally decided to sign up to see if anyone can help me. I have around 4 Bitcoin that I want to put into storage for a long time. How would I go about this, to make sure they are secure. I was thinking about doing something like those Physical coins. Putting each coin on a bit of paper, but how would I do that.
