I can't speak to Stride (that article looks rather old, years before they had capital and built their machine learning platform) but I can say as a BBC WW employee that Thoughtly was everyone's favourite BBC Labs startup!

As I recall they were a browser based platform https://www.meteor.com/assets/content/thoughtly-case-study-meteor.pdf, then developed one natively for stodgy old banks and media companies like ours that utilise old hardware. AERO looks absolutely brilliant to me! I'm going to wade through this white paper and keep a keen eye on their project!
