4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap Changes - Broken the Trust of the Crypto Community? on: May 24, 2020, 08:45:09 AM
Hello everyone,

Recently, CoinMarketCap changed it's ranking system in regards to crypto exchanges, by some sort of miracle Binance (who bought the Website 6 weeks ago for a rumoured $400 million) is top.

What does everyone think about this? Has it broken your trust in regards to CMC being unbiased? Will you stop using their system? Or are you fine with another company investing to grow their reach?

I wrote an in depth article about the situation, my own personal feelings and what can be done if we want to change this. You can check it out below, would be great if I got some feedback on it!

https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-101/coinmarketcap-changes-marketing-ploy-via-binance-or-an-impro-xlllxme?a=GELe3POa69

Also, if you are interested the blog is written on a crypto blogging platform, where you can log in, upvote articles and earn crypto for free for doing so. Currently you can earn BAT, DAI and LRC. There are over 100k users on this platform and it is growing every day, I believe it will soo take over Steemit as the biggest blogging platform.

You can sign up through the article / link above if you want to join the platform.

It's an overall improvement to the system, but let's see what changes happen in the future, I'm expecting a lot more.

Nice roundup, and i've joined the platform and started earning BAT and DAI. Highly recommend it to any crypto lover, especially if you are a content creator.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Exchanges vs FCA (What do you think about it?) on: March 20, 2020, 06:37:05 PM
So recently i saw a few articles specifically about some of biggest crypto exchanges clashing with the Financial Conduct Authority of the UK, does this worry you? Or is it normal as the establishment against crypto? Below are the two articles that I am talking about.

https://beincrypto.com/financial-watchdog-says-bitmex-in-the-uk/

- The United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has reason to believe that BitMEX has been operating without authorization in the region. The popular Bitcoin derivatives trading venue apparently does not have the required licence to operate in Britain.

https://beincrypto.com/top-uk-regulator-issues-warning-about-cryptocurrency-exchange-kraken/

- Kraken has been warned by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) of the United Kingdom over its business dealings in the country. The regulatory agency claims they are unauthorized to operate in the United Kingdom.

To be honest i'm a little worried that the UK is hitting those exchanges, these are some of the biggest ones and I'm a big fan of Kraken.

They are always against them, so this is expected and not new. Expect more negative press.

I also really like the news outlet the article is written by, I highly recommend their trading telegram channel as it gives free trading advice and it's a nice little community. If anyone is interested, the link to the channel is below.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Crypto - Part 2 - Content Creation Platforms - Earn from Writing on: March 20, 2020, 05:53:40 PM

Do you use any of these platforms? and what are you thoughts on them? If you wish to sign up to any of the platforms, all the links are in the article. Thanks for the feedback.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PLUS Token Scam Dumps Another 13,000 BTC - Another reason for the BTC drop? on: March 20, 2020, 03:54:40 PM
One less known source of the sell off is the PLUS token situation.

PLUS Token continues to dump its stolen Bitcoin (BTC) on the market. The move was correlated with the recent price drop which means the scam may have exacerbated Bitcoin’s losses yesterday. PLUS Token was among the largest scams in the cryptocurrency industry, and it continues to haunt the entire market. Repeatedly, the wallets linked to the scam have been dumping their holdings en masse and there’s still a lot left to be sold off.

On average, the PLUS token scam has been selling off 1,300 BTC daily. This weekend, however, some 13,000 BTC ($118M) was moved to be sold off. The owners of this scam wallet did the same thing when Bitcoin crossed $10,000 earlier this year.

I'm sure that the recent economic sitation has played a part, but this one has gone unnoticed to most people. If you want to read the full article, you can click on the link below.

https://beincrypto.com/plus-token-scam-dumps-another-13000-btc-118m-may-be-responsible-for-bitcoin-drop/

I think this is a reason that was overlooked by a lot of people in regards to the market crash, course the Caronavirus and oil price wars played a bigger part, but it just added to the perfect storm.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New EU Law Will Make it Impossible for Banks to Ban Cryptocurrency-Related Trans on: March 20, 2020, 03:51:31 PM
The Fifth Anti-Money Laundering Directive (AMLD5) will soon go into effect and it will inadvertently boost the cryptocurrency industry in the EU. Under the new directive, cryptocurrency-related companies will be treated like any other business.

The blockchain sector has always seen regulation as the greatest roadblock. However, the latest installment of anti-money laundering laws in the European Union could change things.

The Fifth Anti-Money Laundering Directive (AMLD5) was officially signed into law in July 2018 and came into force on Jan 10 of this year. It groups all virtual assets and their providers as ‘obliged entities.’ According to Forbes writer Pawel Kuskowski, this places the cryptocurrency sector in the same legal category as banks, payment processors, gaming, and gambling-related services. In effect, this means that cryptocurrency-related businesses will be treated like any other.

However, the AMLD5 goes further in boosting protections for the cryptocurrency industry. Banks now have to provide valid, individual justification to refuse services to a particular customer. It cannot simply ban services with cryptocurrency-related payment processors or companies. This will mean that millions more will finally be able to purchase virtual assets without bank meddling.

What do you think about this? Also if you want to read the full article where i found the information, you can click on the link below.

Very interesting take on the law, but remember they have been so anti crypto that don't expect this to be easy.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: March 20, 2020, 03:17:31 PM
Hello crypto lovers,

I have written this article on 5 ways to earn crypto without investing or mining, I think this is very important as it is the best way to introduce new people into the cryptocurrency. The article link it below. Please feel free to share it with anyone who is looking for ways to earn crypto.

https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-101/5-ways-earn-crypto-without-investing-or-mining-xozwx?a=GELe3POa69

Do you know any other ways outside of the article? I am always looking for more ways to earn crypto to educate people. Also I would recommend that you look at the blogging platform the article is written on, it's one of the ways you can earn crypto for free.

You create content for people to read, similar to Steemit. There are two ways you earn crypto.

1 - Creating content - Users tip your article, you receive those tips.

2 - Tipping articles - When you want to tip an article, you choose how much of the tip you give to the article and how much you keep. You have to tip at least 20%. You get a certain amount of daily tips.

When you tip it rotates currently between HYDRO, Bounty0x and DAI. In the future, they will be adding BAT to the tokens you will own, i don't know if it will be added to the rotation, or they will tip more in BAT.

I really like the platform, and i would recommend it to anyone who likes to read / create crypto content or who wants to earn some established tokens. Remember that all these tokens are listed on exchanges and CoinMarketCap, so they all have a value, you don't need to worry about the bounty paying out or the token being of a value.

You can sign up through the link in the thread, and its free and easy. Hope to see you guys there!

P.S. If you like the article and sign up, give a tip for appreciation  Smiley

Great article, thanks for sharing. It's a great way to start your crypto journey. Also thanks for sharing the crypto blogging website, I have signed up and it's great. i have started earning BAT. I think i'll earn more from this platform than Steemit in the next month or so. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to earn crypto.

Hello everyone,

I have written this article to help anyone who wants to create a MyEtherWallet, if there is any feedback to the article, it would be very much appreciated. 13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crowdholding - Bounty 2.0 or just the same as the rest? on: March 20, 2020, 02:48:58 PM
Hello everyone.

I read this article today about Crowdholding. I haven't used their system before but after reading the article I was intrigued in what they are doing. I have attached the article below so you can have a look at it.

https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-101/how-to-earn-tokens-with-crowdholding-the-bounty-20-platform-xgdlgl?a=GELe3POa69

They have over 100 startups, and have 37k users and what interested me the most was that they simply don't just have bounties and airdrops, but also micro tasks such as :-

- Giving feedback to crypto startups on a range of topics such as their whitepaper, their concept, marketing, website, UX / UI.
- Product testing of their ecosystem, crypto wallet and numerous other developments.
- Finding bugs and faults in their systems.
- upvoting comments on tasks.

Has anyone used their system before? and what are your thoughts? I have signed up and so far I am impressed with the product they have created.

Also I would check out the platform that they article is written on. It's a new blogging platform where you get crypto for creating articles. I have been using it for a month and I've already earned more than I have done on Steemit.

Look forward to your responses!

It's a very interesting platform and it's one that i recommend for people who are looking to get into the crypto world.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the blockchain - What do you think? on: March 20, 2020, 02:42:32 PM
I found this interesting article about the current gaming industry on the blockchain, what do you think about the gaming industry currently on the blockchain and do you think it will evolve and have a future? Or is blockchain not really for gaming? If you want to read the article, you can read it on the link below.

https://www.publish0x.com/interesting-crypto-projects/games-blockchain-2019-xdqjjz?a=GELe3POa69

On top of that, the blogging platform is a great way to earn crypto for free. You can earn crypto for voting on articles and also for creating content. You can earn DAI and BAT currently but it is a better way than to just do bounties where you have no idea when the token will become live on an exchange. You can sign up through the article. Hope to see you there!

Nice article and I really like the blogging platform. It's a great platform and i recommend it, i've earned more from this platform in a month than i have earned on Steemit in a year. You can sign up to the platform on the link above.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Bounty Platform for Crypto Lovers on: March 20, 2020, 02:03:37 PM
Hello everyone,

Recently I discovered this article about Crowdholding. It seems like a very good platform to earn some crypto as it's a little different to most bounty platforms. They seem to include bounties, but In addition to catering to the regular bounty hunters the site also has a second category called ‘co-creators’.

Anybody who joins the site can complete either type of task. Co-creators complete more varied tasks which are quite different from ordinary bounties. They can include things like reviewing a website, app, graphics or video, completing a survey to share your thought about a company or its products, or being creative and coming up with idea about how a business can improve its product or operations. These are just some examples, as there are many more things which could be posted as a co-creator task.

They have over 36k signups, 90+ startups on their platform and listed on CoinMarketCap. Is anyone using this platform and what do you think about it? I've joined up today and it seems like a good little platform that is a sleeping giant right now.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Publish0x September - October Update on: March 20, 2020, 01:15:48 AM
What do you think about Publish0x? They are a crypto blogging platform that is trying to compete with Steemit. There are two main ways you can earn crypto through it

- Creating articles and users tip those articles
- Tipping articles - This is free and you get 7 tips a day. You can choose what % of the tip goes to the article and what you keep. (The least you can tip is 20%).

Currently you can earn HYDRO, DAI and BAT which are all established tokens on numerous exchanges, which makes it better than bounty hunting for new projects as you are actually earning tokens that you can cash out.

Currently they are approaching the top 20,000 websites globally and have over 26,000 signups to the platform. You can read the official update on the link below. Also you are able to sign up through the link below if you want to start using the platform to create content as well as tip articles you like.
