Bitcoin price is determined by supply and demand. Sometimes bitcoin price rises and sometimes it falls. It is same as any other investment like real state, gold, etc. So It's not a ponzi scheme. Old investors can lose their money too. It is same as stock market. If we call Bitcoin s ponzi scheme, so stock market is also a ponzi scheme.

If people trust that, for sure it will affect the price as many people will sell their bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies for that currency. But I don't think people trust the banks that easy. Because they want to control the transactions and in this way there is no difference between that currency and fiat.

I personally believe that I can earn much money with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Since now I have earned some money by trading. But we don't know what will happen to cryptocurrencies. All of us know that governments don't like bitcoin. So I think leaving the current job is not a good decision.

Bitcoin dominance is falling and it will fall more. But I think Bitcoin will be remain the main currency. Bitcoin dominance is falling because there are many new blockchain projects. In other word, that's the high number of cryptocurrencies that is causing Bitcoin dominance to fall. The reason is not bitcoin value fall.

Any one knows why is that?
It could be, one of your posts were removed by an admin or a moderator. If they see a post that does not meet the standard criteria of a specific topic, they sometimes remove the post. Usually the removed post is accompanied by a pm that tells you why. If you didn't receive a pm about a post removal, they could have removed an entire thread that you posted in. When an entire thread is removed, you would not receive a pm. Unless you created the thread. None of my posts has been deleted. Check my last posts. The number of my posts is one more than what my post count is. |

Hi
I want to claim the free bitcoin gold I have recieved in the fork. But before importing the private key into a wallet, I want to check my balance.
I entered my BTC address into btgexp.com and btgexplorer.com. None of them worked.
Then I found out Bicoin gold address is different from Bitcoin address, while Bitcoin Cash address is the same as Bitcoin address.
What is the difference between bitcoin cash and Bitcoin gold which causes Bitcoin cash address is same as Bitcoin address, but Bitcoin gold address is different from that?
How can I check my Bitcoin gold balance and how can I find the address which contains my free coins?
( I don't want to import the private key into a wallet and just I want to check my balance)

This is due to USA sanctions against Iran.
They banned all the Iranians without any notification.
It is really unfair. They must allow us to withdraw our money and then ban us.
That might be their justification to ban Iranian IP's, but you can just contact them and ask them what further steps are required to get your money/crypto out of there. I can't believe that they will actually attempt to refuse giving back any of these funds to *ex* users -- otherwise it's flat out theft. You can also choose to use a proxy to visit their site, or just set up yourself a solid and safe VPN connection. To add -- exchanges always notify their users when it comes to certain important TOS changes. Bitfinex did the same when it comes to them not allowing US citizens to make use of their platform anymore. Even if I use VPN and open the website, my account is disabled. All of my friends are experiencing the same problem. Our accounts was disabled for about 20 days and there was no answer to our tickets. Not only they didn't solve the problem, but also they banned our IPs today. |

Hi, I am from Iran. As far as everyone probably knows, all the accounts from Iran are disabled. Now Bittrex doesn't let us even open their website. Now all of us are getting this error:
"The owner of this website (bittrex.com) has banned the country or region your IP address is in (IR) from accessing this website "
Shame on you Bittrex. Return our money. Then we won't use your website.

I think the price will be much higher than Bitcoin Cash. There were lots of people thought that Bitcoin Cash will dump to zero. They sold their coins and then regret. Bitcoin cash is now one of best altcoins with good future. I don't think this will happen to Bitcoin Gold too. More people will hold it and cause the price to be higher than bitcoin cash.
