It isn't better , there are way better options around . Bitcoin has the name so will be number 1 for a while i think. But once people start to see the other options bitcoin price will take a big hit.

It is possible that bitcoin can be replaced but the question is when? Bitcoin is the stongest crypto for now. Ethereum is second to bitcoin, as i see it. Investing to this two cryptos is I think best thing to do

At the moment bitcoin is way more volatile than gold. And if it were for everything to crash (including stocks), gold would increase in value while everything including bitcoin would be falling.

I think anyone who has invested a decent amount into crytocurrency needs to make sure that they've secured it safely and that they've provided a trusted loved one the ability to access that investment should something happen to you.
