Today I got this PM: Can you return my fucking 74 000 000 mooncoins with your stealer wallet. Otherwise I will spam this forum about you.
I will only ask nicely once. If you don't reply I will carry on with my quest to get my hands on you.
Thanks.
Since I have nothing to do with all this virus shit, I've decided to make it public. This charge is explainable - I was compiling first versions of wallet for deaconboogie.I'm not going to justify myself, this is just not possible. If you want to "spam this forum about me" or to try "get your hand on me", let it be. I know I have nothing to do with your loss so I have nothing to fear. P.S. I was expecting something like that. This is why I refused deaconboogie's request for help with new wallet. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Edit: Whoever it was - if you're reading this, can you please, please, please return this guy his money? He's spreading FUD right now and this is not good for mooncoin.

- PoW: new idea, prime numbers, not Cunningham chains
Any technical details?

Interestingly you failed to spot the rather glaring error I made. 20 checks at 20ms each will only take maximum of 400ms, not nearly 5 seconds as I stated. I've fixed that and can't really complain as I suspect you're the only person who read it :p
Wasn't interested enough to check all those things precisely

Wouldn't it be quicker for everyone (including me) to explain why it won't work (and what your solution is)? I think I might chuck together a quick php script that can pull some files from a USB stick and hard disk to see how quick it is...
The problem is not in the disk performance part. Current crypto code has: - no conception of "closest nodes"
- no way to "split the work between" nodes
- no way to "lost the block" if it was already added to blockchain
- ...
You must first define these concepts and create a way to implement them; writing some common words is not enough.

Oh boy... I'm giving up, such ignorance can't be beat. Will wait for first code samples, it should be fun. Count me in as security tester

Ok, I've looked through this whitepaper. Unfortunately, it has major flaws. retrieve data 10ms Send Data 10ms You can't rely on such latency. For example, distance from NY to London is 5570 km (3460 miles). Nothing can move faster than light, so information can't be transmitted from NY to London faster than 5570/300,000 = 18 ms. Double this for standard TCP/IP. Double this for LA -> Moscow. Get 72 ms. Quietly weep (c). The solution is passed out to the nodes as normal, checked and added to the blockchain, but the coins are not in the bag yet. No, they are. "The solution is passed out to the nodes as normal, checked and added to the blockchain" == "coins are in the bag" until you invent something new. Your whitepaper is definitely missing some technical details. Several of the closest nodes will now check that the winner is in fact not a botnet computer. The checking nodes split the work between them If the winner fails the confirms by a considerable degree then the block is lost and the coins are either split between the confirming nodes or moved to an empty wallet. This all shows your complete misunderstanding of cryptocoin network. You should stop coding right now and get some crypto background first. http://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf is a great place to start. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Main_Page fine too. Really, whitepaper is a piece of shit for now. No offence, please.

based on his wallet ID
Oh wow! ID in decentralized network, really? Ok, I'll do a favor and will try not to post in this topic before whitepaper release

So instead of running your computer as fast and as hot as it can go all the time, ₩orldo are produced by measuring how much you could do, and using that a guide.
What will stop my node from saying to the network "I can make bazillion hashes per second"? Do you know what Proof-of-Work is? When the client finds a block it will only be rewarded if it can quickly reply to many random queries from the rest of the network.
How many? Who will send them? All network or part of it? If all, this is nonsense, node will die. If part of it, how the other part will know the block is valid? Too many questions. You should definitely release whitepaper first. For now this all just sounds like fantasies from someone who can't understand what is 1) decentralized; 2) anonymous; 3) peer-to-peer network.

At first I was like "Oh, no wallet? Ok, I'll build it". But then I saw empty github. What the hell, lol?

Wow! Consider installing fail2ban or something like that.

All this is very strange. From observations figured out if scan files without unpacking them, no viruses. If you unzip the files to scan and finds the two viruses.
Please, say it right: Two antiviruses states that they found two different viruses. I just searched on the internet about this one. Many virusscanner canīt recognize viruses IN .zip-files. So when you unpack it. Your scanner works fine and finds the viruses. So this could be real. Ok, fuck this shit. Stupid winfags always cry about false positives. Just sell all your coins and leave this topic.

I just put sell orders for my MoonCoins about 1 Million. Why do u ask? Because i listened to the idiots here saying my mooncoin wallet is safe, well wallet got robbed thankfully it only had giveaway moons. I don't care for this coin anymore even if it goes up in price one day i just have no respect for devs who steal from their investors. There are better options out there.
For newcomers be warned this coin is a scam and the wallet is infected with virus, sell your coins otherwise you'll be holding a bag in a few hours.
when that type manipulators come the scene that shows me i am on good investment. + People who missed the train will always spread FUD trying to make others to sell so they can buy cheaper.

Upload the moon-qt wallet executable file to virustotal and see the results for yourself. It's infected with a polymorphic botnet, they often change their own signatures which is why they are only detected on a couple of AV engines before they'll morph so that they don't match the definitions anymore.
The link I posted was for the Kaspersky removal tool, worst it will do is run and tell you that you don't have the botnet....
http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/disinfection/7194It's a polymorphic botnet infection, so I would advise anybody who downloaded the mooncoin client to start taking a very serious look at their own system as well as change their passwords for any of their other wallets and exchange accounts ASAP (from a device that has not connected to the PC that they installed mooncoin on whatsoever since the client was installed) EVERYONE PLEASE READ! THE LATEST WALLET IS INFECTED WITH BOTNET THAT STEALS YOUR WALLETS AND SENDS OFF ALL YOUR PASSWORDS TO THE DEV! EVERYONE THIS IS NOT A JOKE!
I didn't believe it until I saw the virustotal scan result and couldnt believe my eyes.....Virus.Win32.Xpaj.1!O[/color] DOWNLOAD THE REMOVER AND AT LEAST LET IT RUN! DEV IS A FUCKING MONSTER!
AND look at these clowns on top of my post trying to drown out the fact that these guys pointed out VIRUS in wallet!
Anyway to disinfect without downloading your 'solution'? Delete the file from your roaming folder and wallet itself? Let us know. http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/disinfection/7194Download the specified file and clear all system restore points. Then run the exe file to scan system for the virus. If you this helped please consider reading on... Better safe than sorry. Stop spreading FUD, you, little nasty troll. Or learn about false positives if you really believe there is a virus in wallet.

The KittehCoin code has NOT BEEN FORKED.
Please stop spreading misinformation.
They were talking about blockchain fork, not about code fork.

You made $18k with only $200 investment and you say it's shitcoin? lol
Why not? Shitcoin is still shitcoin even if it will cost 1000 BTC/MOON

... Also doing NOTHING (ie not selling on first price rise) has really BOOSTED my profits. Why change a habit that has worked so far!
Don't fool yourself, you have zero profit for now. You will have some profit when - and only when - you'll sell some coins.
