Hey guys, Im currently on bittrex but theres no "filter option" or "stop loss" "take profit". Does anyone know which exchange has the best services or all of the above? Thank you all

Im currently using blockchain.info wallet, but it only allows you to buy $100 or less. If I use an exchange like coinbase could I buy well over $100?
AND does coinable allow you to transfer all your coins to a private (paper) wallet? Or do they want you to keep the bitcoin on their exchange?
Thanks a mil guys

As a newbie to alt coins, I stumbled upon sentry and was amazed! Didn't invest cause i wanted to do some research, see what other people thought.
Went back and read the main thread today and realised its the same 3 people hyping it up like crazy. Sometimes the same person would post a few times in a row saying similar things to the first few posts.
Also it doesn't seem very professional with the "starts killer" line. If your project is THAT good, it doesn't need any gimmicky lines/catch phrases.
PS - Glad i saw your thread title, was about the make the exact same post, but in a more of a rant at how silly these ICO hype threads seem to be.
EDIT - Also what "bineva17" said. Nothing about this 3 person team anyone online!

You have nothing to worry about. There's nothing to worry about. Just make sure your coins are in awallet that gives you access to private keys. Do not leave your coins in an exchange. Noone knows how the market will react, we are not see the future. Forks happen, just keep calm and relax.
Thanks. Any info on the second fork though? Something to do with segwit2x. This is the one people think will have big moves in price. Could be an opportunity to buy if the price dips for a while.

Still new to this so i have a couple questions if thats ok. There are supposedly 2 forks coming up in OCT and NOV
Whats the different between these 2 forks? Why are people more worried about the second one in NOV & Why will that one affect the price more? Whos in charge of these forks? Bitcoin coders themselves or others?
Thanks!

Hey I'm in the same boat as OP here, I'm currently using a blockchain.info wallet.
- Is this a proper wallet? - Will i just receive the btc straight into there and i don't have to do anything? - IF NOT, would it go straight into a paper wallet?
Thanks guys

How many different ICOs would you say you all have invested in and how many become profitable?

How did people claim it last time? Thought private key was suppose to be, well, private.
it is still "private" and should always remain private. but private means you are the only person having access to it not anyone else. like having an account on Coinbase as your bitcoin wallet, you won't be having any access to private keys that way. the way people claimed BCH was either depositing their bitcoin on exchanges like bittrex prior to the fork so that bittrex and others give them the BCH tokens automatically (this is risky though). or they waited for the fork to happen, then downloaded one of the BCH wallets, imported their private keys in that and claimed their tokens. Thanks a lot of the reply, very helpful! Anyone know if i can delete a tread/topic once its done? Cant seem to find the option on this forum

from what information that their team released so far, things will be exactly the same with some minor differences. so you just have to hold the private keys of your bitcoins in order to be able to claim the new airdrops. if they add a replay protection things will be very easy. if not you will have to take additional steps to claim it. in any case wait until they release better and more information, then it will be clear. so far their website has nothing on it except a date!
How did people claim it last time? Thought private key was suppose to be, well, private. sure, there is nothing wrong with that. although it is best to always use the search first before jumping to creating a new topic. and since it is an altcoin, the topics belong to the altcoin board.
Ah thanks, didn't know! If a mod wants to move it that'd be great.

Hey everyone,
So I've been looking at some of the smaller coins and they can have huge swings in price, does anyone know a platform that allows trading all or most of these coins?
Thanks

I have never tested the mobile app but I don't see anywhere in the site that says you can buy bitcoin from them or their partner using credit cards https://blockchain.info/wallet/#/What do you use as a wallet if i may ask?
|
|
|
blockchain is not an exchange, you can't buy from it blockchain.info is just a block explorer, they don't sell anything
since you are a newbie, the "downloaded an app" part might contain a virus, better be careful
I don't know if I would use exchanges through mobiles
[
You will be buying it from blockchain.info - they are not only just a wallet, the people behind it are into various bitcoin/crypto currency projects.
Hmm these 2 posts seem to contradict each other. Who's is right? As of the first reply, i got the official blockchain.info app from the App Store? Same as the link from the website.

when you buy bitcoin is because someone else is selling the same amount you want to buy, those bitcoin are not made just for you they are already bought before by someone else, i hope it help
bolded part - lol I know, but seeing as blockchain isn't considered an exchange i was wonder where the bitcoin come from.

So I downloaded the app as i was thinking of buy some bitcoin which made me think, "if i buy say, $100 worth of bitcoin with a credit card (or wtv) where does the bitcoin come from? Who's providing it?"
Especially if blockchain.info is just a wallet.
Anyone know?
