1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Cashier-BTC Installing on: January 03, 2020, 09:13:47 PM
Was wondering if anyone could give a linux newbie some advice on how to install this.

I'm getting errors about variables being outside of scope when running 'npm test'

Looks to me like nodejs version is not correct but I'm running the latest.

Thoughts?

Does anyone (hopefully the developer) have any further insight into what is happening with this project?  Is it still active?
I can see it's still being mined on pools and that it's being traded on Bittrex but the exchange wallets are disabled for deposits or withdrawals.
Thanks.

FYI - Finally received several payments of BTM from Antpool today.  Looks like they finally have things working Smiley

Has anyone received a payment from Antpool yet?

My "Payment History" shows 4 payments on "2018-05-18" and the status for each of the 4 shows "Paying".

Just curious if everyone else is the same.

(I'm currently mining on uupool since they are successfully paying out to a wallet each day)

Upgraded my B3 using the new firmware and now getting 1000+ H/s as well Smiley

Antpool still showing "paying" status since yesterday with nothing deposited into my wallet yet  Sad

I just switched my Antpool address from ERC20 (which wasn't paying out) to my mainnet (bm...) address.  The settings page does say the current coin type is "Bytom" and it previously showed a note in red text saying the address had to be ERC20 format.  Fingers crossed.  I'll post an update if a payment from Antpool is successful tomorrow.  On a related note - I was successful in getting a 25 bytom payment from uupool today.
7  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New to me Antiminer S7 Starts mining then stops on: January 24, 2018, 01:39:33 PM
Greetings and Thanks for reading:

I bought a used Antminer S7 primarily to learn about mining. I understand that it is unlikley to prove profitable.

I plugged it in and connected to network. All seems fine and it shows up when I login via IP address and for a good 20 minutes seems to hash fine. Then the flashing green light stops (no red light appears) and the miner is no longer discoverable in the IP Address search of my network.

Any advice on what I should be checking?

Thanks again!

At the current price of BTC (11.5K usd) you should be able to generate around $100 usd per month with an S7 model (assuming your electrical is somewhere near 0.10 kwh). Hopefully you get your money back and start making a profit at some point Wink

I would try and make sure your unit is clean.  On one occasion I had a similar problem and I took the fans off and outer case off so I could get at the hashing boards. I used compressed air to blow the dust out of everything. There are lots of utube videos on how to clean an S7.

Even just going through the process of plugging and unplugging the hashing board cables that go to the controller board might help.

Another thing you could try would be to use a different power supply, however, most people don't have spare ones available.

It doesn't sound like an Internet problem as you're not able to see the IP when the problem begins.

8  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: PSU for Avalon 741 - 1x EVGA 1300W or 2x EVGA 650W - both Gold 90% ? on: January 07, 2018, 11:14:16 PM
I've had my Avalon 741's running off EVGA 1300W Gold PSUs for about 5 months 24x7.  I also have Antminer's using Bitmain PSUs but that's mainly because they need so many PCIe connectors.  I run the Bitmain PSUs off 220V circuits where I can and otherwise I use them on 115V circuits. The 741's only require 6 connections which the EVGA 1300 can provide.  If you only have 115V power outlets than the EVGA is a good choice in my opinion (plus it only takes a few days to order one online).

Count me in.

I've got an S7 running at 4.73TH.
