1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: has anyone used Bitmain-alliance.com ?? on: December 28, 2017, 01:51:25 PM
Well, not sure about that
They have posted this on their main website

"Dear Customers,
Due to a failure in the server system of our website, all orders that were paid before 20 December 2017 will be confirmed and delivered with a delay.
Delay in the delivery of paid goods can be up to thirteen weeks from 2 January 2018.
If you have already paid orders, please, send payment confirmation to the e-mail address support@bitmain-alliance.com for re-checking by our specialists.
We apologize for this situation and shipping delay. All clients who have paid orders will receive discounts for these inconveniences. We hope for your understanding.
Sincerely,
bitmain-alliance team"

Which doesn't strike as a scamy move. Plus, I guess they have updated their email adress recently, have you tried it?

I cencierly hope that they are not scam, because I was considering buying from them and a friend of mine is waiting for his order as well. Anyway, orzowei , can you send a reply to them and then perhaps update us on this thread ...

I'm pretty sure that there was a discussion on this forum about silencers for industrial minners and a guy who wants to put them in mass-production. But for the love of of me I cannot find it right now.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to Mine in 2017 on: October 11, 2017, 03:00:26 PM
Best coin to mine in 2017 is ethereum. But not all card is best for ethereum.
In case you have 1080 or 1080ti best coin for mining in that case is zchas.
And if you have old card like 280x or 7970 they are also not good for ethereum...

Can you make a sugestion on the best hardware setup for mining etherium.
I would greatly apreciate it

See what's hot right now, try to calculate losses and profit, like you would if you were calculating your taxes (that's a good practice). It's all just thoughts and words, unless you place the numbers on a piece of paper

good to know! Was looking at this site for quite a while, but wasn't sure of legitimacy.

Well you can never be sure on your own.

By the way has anybody heard of https://www.bitmainmasters.com ? I've been hearing about it on multiple occasions. Most of my references are quite positive. There are also some words of caution and weird baseless accusations, obviously, but no real BAD ones. I'm actually lwant to hear if someone has done business with them.

Can't you just get a counsultation from a certified lawyer?

I guess noone here went to law school. Wrong crowd to ask such questions.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trusted shops for Bitmain Antminers? on: September 29, 2017, 09:45:27 AM
Well, I don't know where you live.
I can advise you to check out this https://www.bitmainmasters.com/product-page/antminer-l3
I don't know if you find this price fair or not. as far as shop goes. I saw some recomendations online and I was reffered there by a friend of mine, with whom we used to study in uni. He lives in NY, and I guess he found them ... have no idea how he found them. But so far he was happy with a product, haven't hear him complaining.
Feel free to check the site.
