This is a little confusing to a newcomer.
The way i understand is NXT helps ICOs and any 'coin' created on NXT blockchain will receive that token. I.E. IGNIS. IGNIS is a child chain of ARDOR.
So NXT will help ICOs / receive that token for holding NXT.
ARDOR will create the child chains?
Obviously much more complicated but is this accurate? What am i missing? I am just surprised to see NXT dip so much (GOOD entry point for newcomers....). NXT holders are going to profit off of w/e is created as a child chain by Ardor....

Here's my confusion....People on Ardor Bitcointalk said the below....
""Early January, the ARDR asset in your NXT wallet will be converted on a 1 to 1 basis. I hope this clarifies the situation."""
What does this mean?
Just a question: Does that mean you will get per each ARDR asset one NXT? Or vice versa?
Ardor is an asset/token on the NXT blockchain, just like EOS or Augur are tokens on the Ethereum blockchain.
As of today Ardor is disabled, you can no longer transfer Ardor (or buy/sell Ardor on the NXT exchange).
If you owned any Ardor then you will be able to use it once the new Ardor blockchain is launched on January 1.
So Ardor will move from the NXT blockchain to its own blockchain.
Thus any childchain created on Ardor, Ardor holders will get a reward everytime an ICO is created?
And NXT / Ardor will be seperate.
NXT will get coin from ICOs created on NXT.
Correct?
