1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Token Sale] [Drones] Introducing Teleport: On-demand Drones as a Service on: September 30, 2017, 08:08:34 PM
Hello, if I sign up for the site and invite some friends, will you even pay? I'm asking this question because some campaign referral system are refusing to pay their supporters, I hope you're different, good luck.

Hi there and thanks for a great question!!!

Just reading it winds me up, not because anyone thinks we may or not pay, that's completely understandable, and excellent to bring up, but that companies out there who depend on the support of you and your friends to be successful say they will take care of you and then screw you.  I've been in business a long time, and in my personal life and business life you do what you say you're going to do.  Integrity is everything.  If you don't have that, what do you have?  Thankfully the entire team is on the same page.

Please stay in touch, and we'll prove to all the kind of company we are.

Regards,
Frank

project will start 1 January 2018, I think you still have plenty of time to make a whitepaper
waiting for the and read all you have .

goodluck

Hi there, and thanks for the luck!

Most token offerings are based upon a new software or software platform and have a technical whitepaper on their website.  Since we fall into more of a traditional business model, albeit very hi-tech, we will be sharing a business plan, which we feel may be more helpful to people who are buying our tokens.  We've had the plan for months now and have been using it internally as our guide, but it looks like from all the interest its time to share our vision, and we'll have it on the site shortly.

Thanks for the feedback!  We always welcome it!

Well laid out project guys! What sort of "missions" do you think or expect the drones to be used for by the clients paying for the services? Just flying around taking pictures and videos I don't imagine would be the only usage for it.

if this could really get implemented, this would actually be quite awesome and we would probably quickly see new ways of the drones being used that we would not have thought of before.

Maybe it can go to one location to pick up an item and deliver it to someone? So like a transportation system.

Maybe someone forgot something at a shop that they urgently need and the drone can then go to pick it up for you.

Is that the sort of things that you think that the drones could be used for?

What countries would this be available to? How do you combat the local legislations that there may be? do you leave that on the client side (drone owners) to figure out and be responsible for? Or will you block certain countries from the list? How do you avoid Drones going into no-fly zones? Through the on-board/built-in GPS?

Thanks for the kudos!  You can imagine its been a lot of work on a project this size!  You are right on all accounts.  Today drones are often used for film and video, but that doesn't even scratch the surface.  On the commercial front think of dam, bridge and pipeline inspections, either on a routine basis or after an earthquake.  Think of a search and rescue team deploying a drone at 60+ miles an hour along a river looking for someone in whitewater. Drone are already delivering blood to villages in Africa.  They have the ability to take that payload and deliver it to a specific spot.  A larger drone can handle a larger payload or package.  Amazon currently has a patent for a "blimp warehouse" which will be high altitude and drones would deliver packages to customers.  Not to be outdone Walmart has applied for their own patent for a low altitude "blimp warehouse" with much more detail in their patent application.  Drone use is exploding and its here to stay.  There is regulation in countries, while others have none.  At this point with approximately 195 countries (it depends on who's doing the counting) we are having the client be responsible for rules and regulations in their jurisdiction.  We will start making a data base as we move forward.  Regarding no-fly zones.  Those will be pre-programmed as no-fly zones in our software and updated on a continual basis.  Teleport is on the absolute cutting edge, and is going to have the software and infrastructure in place as this explodes!  Its absolutely mind blowing!
