2  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: September 13, 2018, 04:16:45 PM
I think the reason for this is that the older you get the less risk you want to have in your investments. For you the lesser the risk and the more tangible the results are the better.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: September 13, 2018, 04:00:21 PM
Personally, what I am doing right now is hold my coins patiently. I have some Bitcoins and a few alt coins, with the current market, I think my best option os to really wait for the time, I still have a strong belief in my coins most especially Bitcoins, it can recover and I know it will. So by that time, I will be able to sell my coins on a much higher price for profit.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand on: September 13, 2018, 11:57:10 AM
Starting something new is always the hardest, but it will be easy eventually. If you are going to introduce crypto currency to people for the first time, I think it will be better to use more analogy so they can understand it in terms that they are familar with. It is a new technology so we should correlate it to fiat and the existing financial systems first then as you discuss the features and difference of it from the existing ones, they already have an idea of you are talking about. It should be easier that way. Then after that just give then materials or websites where in they can read more about it.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in ETH ? on: September 11, 2018, 07:40:08 PM
Yes, i still have a strong belief in Ethereum and I know that it will still be able to recover so for now my plan is to take advantage of the time and opportunity to buy more Ethereum coins on a cheap[er price so I have a lot of them once the price goes back up again. More coins more profit.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings? on: September 11, 2018, 07:23:12 PM
I think there are a lot of factors that we can consider that have an effect on your bounty earnings if the project is taking longer than expected due to some delays. Here are some of them, the number of particlpants in the project, of course the more participants the lower the share you will get, another one is your rank, the hihger your rank is the more stakes you get so even if the project takes longer you get higher stakes than those who have lower ranks. We can alos add the supply of the coins and reached cap of the project. But once the project is successful, I know that all your time and effort will be worth it.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: September 11, 2018, 06:48:29 PM
In my humble opinion, I really do not see Litecoins as the one replacing Bitcoin. Do not get me wrong Litecoin has a good potential but I just really do not see it as successful as Bitcoin, for me the closest thing to Bitcoin is Ethereum as of the moment. What I am sure of is that, whatever coin it may be, it will still take a lot of time before it can replace Bitcoin.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to bitcoin? on: September 09, 2018, 05:54:41 PM
We really cannot tell for sure, but what I can advise is that take advantage of the dry market, buy of you can and if you cannot, just hold on your coins. We are still seeing a good bounce towards the end of the year for Bitcoin.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market Goes Down and Down on: September 08, 2018, 05:37:17 PM
I would understand why some of the people are so worried about this downtrend of the market, we all don't want to lose our investments but then again, in times like this we need to stay calm and strong, go back to the core of yout trust and belief in your coin or project, it will help you stand firm and will give you peace of mind amidst all these chaos.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People say altcoins won't survive on: September 08, 2018, 05:06:08 PM
I agree that there are quite a few in my list of alt coins that can and will survive, I can say. I still see and know that there are very promising coins and projects that are still out there in the middle of all those that are senseless and scam projects. We should take it on our selves that it is our duty and responsibility to know, understand and investigate the project before investing into it, it will save us a lot of hassle when we do that.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why does coins change price constantly? on: September 08, 2018, 04:49:45 PM
The reason for these fluctuation and market activities would be the concept of the supply and demand of the coin. If there is a higher demand meaning more people who buys the coin the higher the price would be, the more people who sells it means its value would go down since the demand decreased. So it is based on people's interest and actions towards buying or selling their coins, hence making it so volatile.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your experience in trading? on: September 08, 2018, 04:26:17 PM
Based on experience, if you are going for trading business now, make sure it is for long term since the market doesn't move much now. Don't get me wrong it is still profitable if you know how to move on the right timing. But to be honest, it was a better experience on trading last year, though I am still optimistic to see that same market towards the end of the year.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2018, 11:33:19 AM
If what you mean by foolishness is to face our fears and invest for the future of our families, then by all means, I would agree that we are foolish. There are different strategies and perspective in this investment business, if there are people who would take high risks, let them be, and do not judge them because that's their decision, am sure they are the only ones who would be responsible for all the things that will come after, so no one has the right to judge anyone. I would say fearless but not foolish.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: September 06, 2018, 11:13:57 AM
Yes we are seeing so much red on the market but that doesn't mean that it is about to end. For me that is just normal. It is normal for the market to be red most of the time since to be honest that what makes it profitable. For a many who are not really experienced investor, they will see this time as they end or they will panic and sell their coins but for those who know what they are doing it is more opportunity to buy more coins for a less value and be able to gain more profit once the market turns green.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest no product ICOs on: September 04, 2018, 05:41:08 PM
I agree with this, a tangible product, a working prototype would be so much better than just something that is based on pure theory. ICO projects with products are more likely to convince and gain people's trust that their project is real and can provide a better view on its path to success since you already have the working prototype or the product itself. In this industry that is so risky why would you go for something so much riskier if there are project that can provide you more for lesser risks.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam? on: September 04, 2018, 05:02:41 PM
Scams are everywhere in the crypto currency world especially in the ICO projects. So it is our duty and responsibility to our selves that we need to take necessary pre cautions before getting into any project or investment. You need to research about the project first, the team, the product the mission and vision of the project, and all the important details of it, usually all those would be in their whitepaper. Check and read their websites and know more about their managers. It will never hurt to spend time and effort here to ensure that the project it worthwhile than be scammed and put all your time and effort into waste.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SLeepless nights doing bounty campaign is it worth it? on: August 31, 2018, 06:59:30 PM
I can honestly say that yes all those hard work, efforts, time and sleepless nights are worth it because through bounty campaigns I was able to have additional source of income that help me and my family make ends meet, then eventually provided us a more convinient life.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: August 31, 2018, 05:35:47 PM
Based on some of my observations the reasons why some ICO project fails is because of the lack of clear  and concrete plan. This leads to not gaining the interest of investors hence will lead to the project's downfall. Every ICO project's whitepaper should have the clear and concrete information about their vision, the team, the project, the road map, development and timelines and the what's in it for the investors, that way we can gain their trust and confidence on the project.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy going up and up everyday on: August 29, 2018, 09:34:37 AM
I totally agree that Crypto currencies gave a great help in boosting the world economy in a sense that a lot more people have work now and are earning for their selves and their families but it doesn't mean that cash or fiat currencies will be gone since these are still the national currency of every nation. Cryptos are here to help as an alternative and are not here to end fiat money.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: August 29, 2018, 09:14:03 AM
We cannot deny the possibility of that, No matter how great Bitcoin is right now, there is still a chance of  new technology and innovation will make it outdated, in time. One thing I love about Bitcoin is that it is continuously growing and evolving so it will be hard for someone or for any coin to make it outdated.
