1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.1c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: August 19, 2020, 10:49:26 AM
Hi, I'm having problem on one my rig with 5 GTX 1070/1070Ti and PhoenixMiner v5.1c. Rig is crashing every time while DAG file is created. On other rigs with 4 GPU I do not have problems with Rigs crashing. Also Clay is working without problem on this rig with 5GPUs. I would like to use PhoenixMiner but I do not know what is the problem. Also I've tried few nVidia drivers no difference. This Rig was off for last year and I've started back mining few days ago. Does someone have idea what could be problem with this Rig? Thanks

Came here looking for info on this. I'm having the same issue. I'm using 5700XTs, 20.4.2 drivers, and 5.1c. Things work fine at first then it will crash when creating the DAG file. This started after switching to 5.1c. I was using 4.9c before so I'm going to go back to that for now and make sure that still works.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TeamRedMiner 0.5.7 - AMD GPU Miner for Grin, MTP, x16r/rt/s and more on: August 20, 2019, 07:10:10 AM
Great job guys this miner is awesome. Easy to use, good hashrates, and zero rejected shares. Here are my results hope this helps someone!

Driver: Adrenalin 19.8.1
Miner: TRM 0.5.7
Afterburner: 4.6.1
GPU: XFX Radeon VII
Test system: 7600K, Asus Z270E, 8GB RAM, EVGA 850 G2, Open Benchtable (open air)

Power consumption numbers are total system power as measured by a Kill A Watt. The system uses about 30w without a GPU so you can deduct 30w from these numbers to get an estimate of the GPU power consumption. I selected what I believe to be my weakest VII so I would expect most cards to do better than this.

Format is:
Voltage/Core Clock/Mem Clock - cn config that the auto tune ended up with, power usage range, GPU temp/junction temp, hash rate range

The following tests were done over two days with the AC off. Temps are probably a little off as a result.

821/1408/1000 - 13*12:AAA, 162w-177w, 49C/60C, 2600-2640
821/1408/1100 - 13*12:AAA, 168w-180w, 51C/61-64C, 2628-2680
821/1508/1100 - FAIL
830/1508/1100 - FAIL
840/1508/1100 - 13*13:CAB, 178w-186w, 53C/65C, 2790-2825, FAIL hw errors
850/1508/1100 - 13*12:AAA, 181w-194w, 53C/66C, 2778-2853

880/1608/1100 - FAIL hw errors
890/1608/1100 - 13*13:AAA, 201w-212w, 57C/70-74C, 2873-3033

900/1658/1100 - FAIL hw errors
905/1658/1100 - FAIL hw errors
910/1658/1100 - FAIL hw errors
915/1658/1100 - 13*12:CAB, 206w-219w, 56C/70C, 3009-3039
915/1708/1100 - FAIL GPU Dead
920/1708/1100 - FAIL hw errors
925/1708/1100 - FAIL hw errors
930/1708/1100 - FAIL hw errors
935/1708/1100 - FAIL hw errors
940/1708/1100 - 13*12:CAB, 220w-233w, 57C/72-75C, 3078-3130

Retested the good settings to verify. Didn't record the cn config since it usually ended up at 13*12 CAB or AAA. Also these tests were done one the same day with the AC on so the temps should be more accurate.

821/1408/1100 - 168w-175w, 50C/60C, 2630-2700
850/1508/1100 - 180w-192w, 52C/63C, 2780-2840
890/1608/1100 - 196w-210w, 54C/66C, 2930-2990
915/1658/1100 - 206w-222w, 56C/69C, 3010-3060
940/1708/1100 - 224w-235w, 57C/72C, 3070-3130

Hah. I'd rather have you release them than your good friend Ohgoda*****. After all, I'm sure she'd be all over them and dying to claim them as her work...

Well, i made the decision a long time ago to never ever release this for several reasons that are absolutely not important Smiley

But i don't mind annoying you guys with some screenshots Smiley

 Cheesy

well done, but i have problem to running cli version, the error message was
"
C:\Users\3\Desktop\amdo>WinAMDTweak.exe --current
Failed to load EIO.dll"

how to fix it, thanks

you need to have the two dll's in the same directory as the amdtweak tool and that will resolve that. they are built in the download.
I have done that

I had the same thing happen with the newest release. The previous version works fine for me.

Payments are not working. I have been waiting for ETC payment for 8 hours but nothing yet. Gastracker cannot find the transaction.

Can this be a scam to steal coins? Time to leave this crap pool.

I'm having the same issue. Balance was lowered by the withdrawal amount, withdrawal fee was charged, withdrawal marked as confirmed and an invalid transaction on gastracker.

Is anyone successfully running 3+ V56 for extended periods of time? Using the usual settings I was easily able to get around 1800 H/s running on 3x V56 for a couple days with no issues. Got the fourth board setup and although it worked well enough at first the rig crashed after about 14 hours. Have it running again now with slightly lower memory clocks. If that doesn't work I'll probably try messing around with HBCC amount. Anyone else having stability issues with many GPUs?

If you give me (PM) all of your configs I will try on my 6 card vega 56 rig.

Nothing special really basically the settings discussed in this and other threads. Core freq: -30%, Mem freq: 920mhz, Core/Mem voltage: Auto, Power level: -20%, Minimum fan speed: 2500rpm. HBCC on at 16080GB RAM. Blockchain driver. Running xmr-stak-amd with 8 threads (2/board) and gpu_threads_conf like this:
{ "index" : 0, "intensity" : 2016, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false },
{ "index" : 0, "intensity" : 1600, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false },

These settings on 3 boards was basically set it and forget it. With the fourth board it crashed after a few hours. Lowered mem freq down to 900 and it lasted longer but eventually crashed. My current theory is the new board just can't take the RAM overclock. Running at 890 now for about 8 hours. If it makes it through tomorrow hopefully I'll have my answer and it has nothing to do with 4 boards but rather the fourth board just can't overclock as far. These boards are great miners but definitely not as easy to work with as the 1070s.

Although the days of ROI in three months are behind us it's still a great time to be a hardware enthusiast/gamer. In the past I would usually stick to boards that are one or two steps down from the top but in today's world you can get a board like a 1080 Ti and have it mine enough to bring the cost down to a reasonable level. It's looking like it probably won't ROI... but it might. It's also looking like it will make 20-30% of the purchase price in the first few months giving you a nice discount on a sweet board.
