Such a tool would be totally useful for folks who trade a lot here. But you need to prove yourself.

I mean just saying that you have a tool and it works, pay to have it, won't work. If you somehow successfully developed such a tool you'll have to make it available for public use for a few days or so and it should prove itself that it works accurately before thinking about charging any money.

I'm not asking you to explain what it does (as probably you won't do that) but I'm just telling you that people here have been scammed so much in different things so you have to be legit.

Totally agree. We are going to make it public. We were trying to gauge if there was a need for such a tool on the market and if it would be sustainable to offer it since it will cost us.

I wrote a more detailed post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2236775.msg22557221#msg22557221

We would make it free for a few months

If there was to be a tool that would alert you when a coin is undervalued with mathematically sound algorithms, how much would you guys be willing to pay a month?

Let us take it as a given that it actually works, not some volume ping like Cryptoping or whatever.
But that will never happen, because the system just got programmed to follow our intruction and the bot can't generate its own decision about the the exact value of the undervalued token. The amount depends on the tool's feature and how it works.

I don't exactly get what you're saying to be honest. It's quite a sophisticated process, yes. And since the market is a random walk you can't get a 100% accuracy. However, you don't need 100% accurate to make profit.

I actually made a post explaining a bit more in-depth what we've done. Didn't get any replies though. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2236775.msg22557221#msg22557221

4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Semi-predictive algorithmic cryptocurrency tool on: October 04, 2017, 02:50:31 PM
Hello friends,

Firstly, I would like to explain the poll. We Are a group of mathematics, finance and statistics graduates, professors and PhD's from north-west Europe who have been working on a tool to predict movements in cryptocurrency market for the past 7 months or so. Our main goal was to figure out how the market worked and what made the market so volatile.

In the process we discovered that a few mathematical models we applied and tested were working quite well. So well, that we developed a simple software tool and started testing it rigorously, with surprising results. The tool was able to predict the right buy moment most of the time. Accuracy of predicting buy moments was in the high 90-percentages. We defined a "good buy moment" alert from the tool as an entry point where there is at least 3% profit margin within a reasonable time frame (depending on the algorithm tune, more on this later).

At this stage, we are considering making a platform for people to access the tool. The tool would be running all cryptocurrencies and all popular exchanges. It would alert the user when a coin hits a price where it is most likely going to go up. This is useful for all traders. For beginners to not buy in at the wrong time. For experienced traders it is more of a monitoring tool of all coins, helping in keeping an eye on the whole spectrum of good buy opportunities.

Of course, we are not about claiming something without solid proof. We would launch the tool for the first few months for free. No charge, at all. You do not have to link your exchange funds (and never will), the purpose of the tool it is just to aid trading and better decision making.

After that we would have to switch to a paid subscription, due to the high maintenance and development costs. That is where we need you to vote on the poll. We have calculated what we would need to charge roughly per month for us to be able to launch the tool and have enough to develop it further, but we do not know if people are willing to pay that amount. So, please vote and just be honest with yourselves how much you would be willing to pay, given you tested the tool for a month or two for free and it worked well for you.

I hope this was somewhat clear, since English is not my first nor second language.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Kind regards and thank you.
